Redcrest Realm

2/27/2026

Liam Yang arrived at Evan Yang's sealed chamber and knocked for a long time, but got no response. He muttered, "Dad, you haven't gone stupid from cultivating, have you? Hurry up and come out—they're already attacking the gate!"

But there was still no movement inside. Liam tried several times to communicate with Evan, but got no reply. He frowned and said, "What is Dad doing in there?"

Helpless, Liam waited for a while before leaving. When Gavin White heard Evan hadn't responded, she frowned and said, "What on earth is he doing?"

"Boss is definitely figuring something out," Brocade said.

Gavin sighed, "Let's hope so. Sigh."

Meanwhile, more and more attackers gathered around the formation. Elder Mason snorted, "Everyone, go! We must destroy it!"

With their combined efforts, the formation would collapse in another hour. But they were shocked: what kind of formation could withstand so many people attacking for so long?

Another half hour passed. Gavin grew anxious—not just her, but all the Yang clan and allied palace members were waiting for orders. If they let the attackers break through, it would be a disaster. After all, these enemies were Heavenly Dao experts; once inside, even Immortal Sovereigns would be helpless.

Just as everyone was panicking, Evan finally appeared. He smiled and said, "Don't worry. Follow the plan—go to your assigned planets and get ready to counterattack."

Seeing Evan, everyone felt reassured and immediately followed the prearranged orders to their planets. Evan also went to one planet, looked at the attackers outside the formation, and laughed, "Five Gods Hall, you really honor me—sending so many experts."

"Evan Yang, if you know what's good for you, open the formation and hand over the Five God Spear. Maybe I'll let you live," Elder Mason snorted.

"Last time someone demanded the spear from me, but he ended up badly injured. Are you going to try your luck too?" Evan laughed.

"You stubborn fool! Fine, I'll show you the power of Five Gods Hall. Everyone, speed up!" Elder Mason sneered.

Evan smiled. "Everyone, get ready." After his side prepared, Evan shouted, "Attack the formation!"

Attack the formation? Wouldn't that help the enemy break in? But Evan had given the order, so they obeyed. Five Gods Hall was puzzled—why attack from inside? It should only hasten the collapse. But they misunderstood. When all the attacks hit the formation, they were amplified and pierced through, instantly wounding the front-line enemies.

Elder Mason was shocked. "Retreat—fall back outside the world-realm!" The attackers withdrew beyond the boundary.

Seeing the enemy leave, the Yang clan and allies cheered. Evan laughed, "Everyone, stay here. I'm going out to take a look."

With that, Evan flashed away. Outside, Elder Mason surveyed his hundred men and found more than ten heavily wounded. Furious, he said, "Damn it, I'll wipe out this world-realm!"

"That depends on whether you have the ability," Evan replied with a laugh.

Seeing Evan come out, Elder Mason was delighted. "You actually dare to show yourself? You're courting death!"

"Of course I dare. But I don't have time to play with you all right now. Maybe next time," Evan said with a grin. With that, he opened his hand, and before everyone’s eyes, the glowing world-realm vanished.

Elder Mason stared wide-eyed. "Impossible!"

"Nothing's impossible. See you around," Evan said, flashing away. Elder Mason gulped, "After him!"

The pursuers were fast—Evan couldn't shake them off no matter what he tried.

"Time is limited. The world-realm can only stay stored for one hour. I have to find a new place and redeploy it before the hour's up," Evan muttered.

But with the crazy pursuers behind him, Evan could only take the risky route—he found a Chaos Storm and dove right in. This storm was infamous in the Chaos World; one wrong move and you could be swept away to who knows where. Usually, no one dared get close, but Evan had no choice, and the others followed.

Finally, a spatial eddy caught Evan and hurled him to another corner of the Chaos World, completely losing his pursuers. He laughed, "Finally shook them off."

After escaping, Evan found a safe spot, released his world-realm, and went back inside.

When Gavin White saw Evan return, she asked, "What happened?"

"I've shaken them off for now. But I don’t know how far we are from the Immortal Realm. Don’t worry—once things settle down, I’ll move the world-realm back near the Immortal Realm," Evan said.

The elemental palace allies were shocked, but they understood Evan acted for everyone’s safety and were reassured.

Evan then had Gavin White and Brocade stay behind to manage defenses, while he left the world-realm to scout the surroundings.

After leaving, Evan searched for a long time but found the area empty—not a single world-realm nearby.

"Strange, why isn't there a single world-realm here?" Evan muttered, continuing his search.

Eventually, he spotted a world-realm ahead, glowing red. In the past, Evan had only seen world-realms shining pale blue or white—this was his first time seeing red, so he entered out of curiosity.

Inside, Evan found it was structurally similar to other world-realms. He located a planet, found a big city, and wandered around.

He learned that this world-realm was called Redcrest Realm, and that each realm had its own trading system. Evan saw that the items used here were different, making communication difficult. He sighed, "Looks like I can only recruit near the Immortal Realm; otherwise, it's really hard to communicate."

Helpless, Evan prepared to leave, but then noticed something strange—his strength was greatly reduced. He found a spot to test his power and discovered he could only use one-third of his usual strength.

"What's going on? Why is my strength so reduced?" Evan wondered suspiciously.

Unable to figure it out, Evan entered the city and watched for a long time. In a small teahouse, he spotted someone who looked like an expert quietly drinking tea.

As Evan sat down, the man smiled, "What is it? Do you need something?"

"Senior, I'd like to ask you something," Evan said respectfully.

"Senior? I don't deserve that. I'm just an old man, soon to leave this world," the man laughed.

Evan wondered, "Did I mistake him?" After seeing Evan lost in thought, the old man laughed, "Go ahead, what do you want to ask?"

Evan recovered and laughed, "I want to know why my strength is only one-third here."

"One-third? Kid, you're lucky. Most people here are limited to one-tenth—you've got one-third," the man said after a moment, then laughed.

Hearing this, Evan looked puzzled. "Senior, why is that?"

"That's set by the realm's master. His goal is to prevent powerful people from destroying his world-realm," the man laughed.

Evan was suddenly inspired—if he could learn this, no one would dare rampage in his world-realm. He could set things however he wanted, making even top experts meek as sheep.

Seeing Evan lost in thought and smiling, the man asked, "What's wrong?"

"No, nothing, Senior. Where can I find the realm's master?" Evan asked curiously.

"Why do you want to find him?" the man asked curiously.

"I want to learn how to manage a world-realm," Evan laughed. The man shook his head, "Forget it. The realm's master never teaches anyone and hates seeing strangers. Be careful—you're from another world-realm, aren't you?"

"Yes, but why? If you know where he is, tell me and I'll go," Evan said after thinking it over.

"Since you're so determined, I'll tell you. There's a remote planet here called Lone Saint Star, surrounded by a barrier. See if you can get in. Even if you do, you'll have to pass many trials to meet him," the old man laughed.

After receiving this clue, Evan thanked the old man and left to find Lone Saint Star.

He soon reached the planet's barrier and saw that it was surrounded by layers of tests.

Evan braced himself and began passing through the trials.
