"There are such terrifying powers in the Immortal Realm? Then why do they still worry about the Devil Realm?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

"Devil Realm? Immortal Realm? Evan, you still don’t understand what I mean. The Devil Realm and Immortal Realm are both based on cultivation attributes. So, the Devil Realm also has water, earth, and fire. You should get what I’m saying now," Liam Yang explained.

Hearing this, Evan finally understood. In other words, attributes are all part of one family, and these places like the Water Temple, Earth Temple, and Flame Temple only exist in certain areas of the Immortal Realm. But people from both the Devil Realm and Immortal Realm fear or even worship them. More precisely, what happens between the Devil Realm and Immortal Realm has nothing to do with those Temples—because in their eyes, the two realms are on the same level.

Seeing Evan understood, Liam Yang continued, "Now you should realize just how frightening these powers are. They’re beyond our comprehension. Except for a few Immortal Sovereigns who know where those places are, no one else can find them."

"Dad, what does all this have to do with your poisoning?" Evan asked curiously. "Since you know these powers exist, I’ll continue and tell you about your mother," Liam Yang said.

Hearing this, Evan felt like he’d guessed something—this must have something to do with his mother.

Sure enough, Liam Yang took a deep breath and said, "Actually, your mother is from the Water Temple."

"What?" Evan was shocked. He never expected his mother to be from the Water Temple.

"I didn’t know much about the Water Temple. Before I met your mother, I had no clue at all. It wasn’t until after you were born that she started telling me about it. When I learned she was from the Water Temple, I realized we had to leave the Immortal Realm, or the Water Temple would soon find us—and that would be trouble," Liam Yang said.

"Why did you have to avoid the Water Temple? Did the Water Temple not like Dad?" Evan was confused—why would the Water Temple object to his parents being together?

"Evan, every one of those powers I mentioned is terrifying—and they all have strict rules forbidding relationships with outsiders. When your mother told me this, I knew we had to run," Liam Yang said.

Evan’s emotions churned, but he finally gathered his courage and asked, "So my mother was caught and taken back?" "Yes, she was. And I know she’s definitely being punished," Liam Yang replied, tears already streaming down his face. "Punished?" Evan exclaimed in shock.

"That’s right. Your mother said that anyone who breaks the rules there will be punished accordingly. Because she was with me, she has to..." Liam Yang’s words faltered.

"Has to what?" Evan pressed.

"Burn in the Yin-Nether Flame for one million years! If she can’t endure and dies halfway, then that’s it," Liam Yang said, feeling utterly helpless, his eyes reddening.

"Yin-Nether Flame?" Evan had never seen it, but just hearing the name was terrifying enough. After learning more from Liam Yang, he realized that the Yin-Nether Flame was incredibly frightening—even Emperor Realm experts couldn’t survive a hundred years in it.

Hearing Liam Yang’s explanation, Evan felt a surge of fear. If that’s the case, after all these years, wouldn’t his mother...

"Dad, I’ll definitely find Mom—she’ll be alright," Evan said, summoning his courage.

"You? No, if they discover your existence, they won’t spare you either. I think I should handle this myself," Liam Yang said after thinking it over.

"Dad, I’ve grown up. I have my own abilities now. No matter what, I’ll find the Water Temple and rescue Mom," Evan said firmly. "Even Immortal Sovereigns struggle to get out of there unharmed—how can you possibly save your mother?" Liam Yang felt it was too difficult, like having an Immortal Sovereign block your path when their strength was only at the Emperor Realm. How could they compete?

"Dad, I don’t believe they’re that unreasonable. I have to see for myself." Evan wasn’t afraid of overwhelming power—he just wanted to know his mother’s fate, even if it meant dying to find out.

"Don’t go!" Liam Yang quickly grabbed Evan when he heard him say he was going.

Evan looked at Liam Yang and said, "Dad, trust me. I’ll bring our family back together. For now, you stay here."

"You..." Seeing how determined Evan was, Liam Yang almost regretted telling him.

Noticing Liam Yang’s regretful expression, Evan smiled and said, "Dad, back when I couldn’t cultivate at all, the Immortal Realm was a distant dream. But I was determined to find you, and now I’ve done it. So I’ll search for Mom just like I searched for you—no matter how dangerous, I’ll find her."

Liam Yang was stunned. He remembered how Evan truly couldn’t cultivate back then, but in the blink of an eye, Evan’s strength could rival Emperor Realm experts. It was beyond anything he’d ever dreamed. And now, Evan wasn’t a child anymore—he could handle things himself. Liam Yang sighed, "Maybe you’re right. If so, just be careful and always put your safety first." "Don’t worry, Dad. Plenty of people have tried to kill me, but none have succeeded," Evan said with a smile.

"Then I can rest easy. Go ahead," Liam Yang said.

Just as Evan was about to leave, he seemed to remember something and turned to Liam Yang. "Dad, there are other people here—they’re all my friends. Don’t worry. If you feel bored, you can chat with them."

After saying that, Evan left the Sky-Piercing Tower. Liam Yang wandered around its strange halls, curious about how Evan had spent all these years inside.

As for Evan, he stepped outside. Now, standing on a deserted planet, he thought about the challenges ahead and steadied himself. "Mom, no matter how far you are, I’ll find you," he said.

Evan then vanished from the planet, heading straight for the Immortal Realm Alliance.

At that moment, the Alliance Leader, who was cultivating in a mountain range of the Immortal Realm Alliance, sensed Evan’s arrival and muttered, "I didn’t expect him so soon."

Soon, Evan landed at the spot where he’d last met the Alliance Leader. Evan called down to the ground, "Alliance Leader, are you here?"

"I’m here. I didn’t expect you to arrive so quickly," the Alliance Leader replied with a smile.

"Looks like I really need your help, Alliance Leader," Evan said awkwardly.

"Is it about your parents?" The Alliance Leader had already guessed.

"Alliance Leader, you actually knew all along," Evan said, remembering what the Alliance Leader had told him before leaving.

"I know, which is why I advised you not to act rashly," the Alliance Leader said.

After a moment of thought, Evan said directly, "Alliance Leader, then you must know why I’ve come?"

"I won’t tell you," the Alliance Leader refused flatly.

"Why?" Evan hadn’t expected the Alliance Leader to reject him so decisively.

"You’re not strong enough. Going would just mean death," the Alliance Leader replied.

"But you know I’m different from everyone else," Evan said.

"That’s exactly why I don’t want you to die for nothing. Even if you can defeat a seventh or eighth-stage Emperor Realm expert, so what?" the Alliance Leader said.

Evan grew anxious, but no matter how hard he tried to persuade the Alliance Leader, he wouldn’t reveal anything.

Eventually, Evan asked, "Then what would it take for you to tell me?"

"Tell you? Only if you have enough strength. In other words, if you can withstand one-tenth of my power," the Alliance Leader said.

Hearing that the Alliance Leader was an Immortal Sovereign, Evan was shocked. He’d already experienced the power of a Demon Sovereign, so he could guess what an Immortal Sovereign was like. Not to mention one-tenth—even one percent was beyond him.

"What’s wrong? Scared?" the Alliance Leader laughed.

"It’s not fear—it’s just impossible," Evan said.

"That’s right. If it’s impossible, then don’t ask," the Alliance Leader said.

Evan gritted his teeth. "I’ll find a way to learn the truth," he said.

"Let me tell you—only a few Immortal Sovereigns know. Unless you find one, it’s impossible. Prepare yourself," the Alliance Leader said.

Evan believed the Alliance Leader wouldn’t lie, so he stood there and asked again, "Alliance Leader, you really won’t tell me?"

"That’s right. Unless you’re strong enough, I won’t tell you," the Alliance Leader said.

"If that’s how it is, I won’t ask anymore. I’ll find another Immortal Sovereign," Evan said.

"Let’s see if you can meet an Immortal Sovereign," the Alliance Leader said.

Evan turned and left. Watching Evan’s departing figure, the Alliance Leader sighed, "I’m doing this for your own good. With your current strength, you’re nothing but an ant there."

Evan knew the Alliance Leader wasn’t lying. He didn’t hate him, but he had to know the truth. He refused to believe no one else knew, so he headed for the Yang Clan.

Evan’s sudden appearance at the Yang Clan shocked the Drunken Beggar and the others. When Yang Tian’s parents heard Evan had returned, their expressions turned from surprise to anger. Evan knew it must be related to Yang Tian, but he had no interest in him now—he only wanted to know where his mother was.

"Clan Leader, I have something to ask you," Evan said.

Yang Ming looked at Evan, then at the others around them, and asked curiously, "What is it?"

"Can we talk somewhere private?" Evan said, seeing Yang Tian’s parents there and unable to bring himself to speak.

"Alright, come with me," Yang Ming said. Evan also told the Drunken Beggar and Yang Min, "Both of you, come too."

Yang Ming was curious why Evan wanted them along, but since Evan insisted, he didn’t ask further and led them to the study. Meanwhile, Yang Tian’s parents exchanged glances and quickly left the Yang Clan, as if they had something urgent to do.

Inside Yang Ming’s study, he asked, "What is it? Go ahead and ask."

"The Water Temple—I want to know about it," Evan said.

"You already know?" Yang Ming was shocked when he heard Evan mention the Water Temple.

"Looks like the Clan Leader knew all along," Evan sighed after seeing Yang Ming’s reaction.

"That’s right. Your parents told me everything, so of course I know," Yang Ming said.

"Then can you tell me where the Water Temple is?" Evan asked.

"Your father doesn’t know, so how could I? And your father—" Yang Ming seemed to realize something and asked curiously.
