Nine-Dragon Gate’s Overwhelming Power

1/5/2026

This was Arthur Shentu’s big debut—he had to go all out and show everyone just how strong he was. That meant he absolutely had to take down Elder Zack “Ghosthide” Zhang!

But under that punch, Ghosthide really couldn’t take it—his whole body shuddered, stumbled, and was knocked flying.

“Nice! Arthur, great job—crush that bastard!” The Ruins Sect crowd exploded with cheers after Arthur’s attack landed, clearly hyped up!

For years now, Ruins Sect had been fighting Nine-Dragon Gate and never won—always losing, always getting the worst of it. But now, with Arthur’s attack, they finally had the upper hand!

Arthur was pumped—he had to finish the job and really make a name for himself.

In a flash, he went wild and charged straight in. The whole Ruins City crowd got hyped again—but Elder Harold Hong, watching from the sidelines, started to worry. Ghosthide might not be as strong as Arthur, but he shouldn’t go down from just one hit. And if Nine-Dragon Gate was going all out attacking Ruins Sect, there was no way they hadn’t come fully prepared. There had to be more top-tier attackers lurking nearby—Ghosthide couldn’t be the only one!

And what was even more suspicious—Ghosthide kept fighting while backing away, like he was trying to lure Arthur out!

“Not good!” Elder Harold Hong realized what was up—this could be a trap! He shouted, “Don’t chase him! That guy’s bait, he’s trying to hook us! Right now, guarding the sect is what matters most!”

But as soon as Elder Harold Hong said that, a bunch of elders who were just there to suck up started yelling, “Harold Hong, you coward—are you scared or what? The enemy’s attacking and you want us to just hide? No wonder the higher-ups put you in charge—you make zero sense!”

“I bet Harold Hong’s just jealous of Arthur—afraid he’ll steal your thunder, huh? Heh, people are hard to read!”

“Don’t listen to him—let’s chase them! This is still Ruins Sect territory, we’ve got nothing to fear. Wipe out those Nine-Dragon Gate bastards and show them attacking us means certain death!”

...

Right now, Arthur Shentu was done holding back—he was packing serious immortal moves and hadn’t even shown his true power yet. If a top-tier immortal like him made a move, it had to draw blood, or he’d lose face!

Fueled by those thoughts, Arthur Shentu charged in headfirst, going wild after Ghosthide. The rest of the elder group piled in too—and even two Supreme Elders joined the fray!

Just like that, only Elder Harold Hong and a handful of scattered troops were left guarding Ruins Sect’s outskirts. The Sect Master and the rest of the Supreme Elders were still deep in cultivation.

This is bad, this is really bad! Elder Harold Hong was practically shouting now, but he was powerless to stop any of it.

Meanwhile, Ghosthide kept backing up, then suddenly flashed a wicked grin—he’d reached their preset ambush point. Next, he blew a sharp whistle!

The moment he heard the whistle, even Arthur Shentu—desperate to make his mark—knew he’d fallen for it. Without a second thought, he yelled and bolted back toward safety!

To be fair, his reflexes were sharp—but Nine-Dragon Gate had come fully prepared. The instant Ghosthide whistled, a dozen top-tier masters burst out from all sides: Dragonvault, Flamevault, Frostvault, Lawvault, Earthvault—the backbone of Nine-Dragon Gate. They all showed up at once, sealing off every inch of space.

Crap, we really got played—those Nine-Dragon Gate bastards! The bootlicking elders were now panicking, totally clueless and spineless.

Ghosthide, nice work—solid job! The other Nine-Dragon Gate elders shouted, and Ghosthide, who’d been holding a grudge since last time, finally let out a sigh of relief.

Damn it, everyone—let’s wreck those Ruins Sect idiots! Ghosthide grinned and shouted.

Suddenly, all of Nine-Dragon Gate was fired up, while the Ruins City crowd was gripped by sheer terror.

Think you can wipe us out? Dream on—kill! Kill! Kill! Arthur Shentu wasn’t about to give in, not with his immortal power and pride. Even without his breakthrough, his fierce arrogance meant he’d never back down easy.

He unleashed his immortal qi in a wild burst—this stuff was no joke, insanely lethal. Ordinary elders didn’t stand a chance, and as his power exploded, the Nine-Dragon Gate elders’ seal actually loosened a bit!

Impressive! No wonder he’s Ruins City’s top genius! Ghosthide was stunned—Arthur Shentu was now Supreme Elder level, and being young, he was way more aggressive than the usual old-timers.

Arthur, go for it—let’s break out! The trapped elders saw Arthur’s power and started shouting.

What a bunch of idiots—activate the Supreme Elder kill-seal! The Nine-Dragon Gate elders weren’t fazed at all. Compared to Ruins Sect, their quality was on another level.

Suddenly, blood-red streaks appeared on the outer seal, spreading like the veins of some giant organ. In no time, the whole world was locked down by these monstrous blood vessels, and Arthur Shentu’s attacks were completely swallowed up by their terrifying bloody aura.

Even scarier, those blood vessels started attacking everywhere—within a blink, everyone except Arthur Shentu was completely wrapped up!

Kill! Kill! Kill! Even now, Arthur wasn’t fazed—his nerves were steel. He focused on one spot and blasted away, smashing the blood vessels binding him. His genius was on full display.

He’s seriously got skills! Even the Nine-Dragon Gate crowd was a little shaken—Arthur Shentu’s power was something else.

Meanwhile, Elder Harold Hong at the sect gate was sweating bullets. He hoped Arthur could hang on—at least long enough for the top brass to come rescue him. With all this chaos, the higher-ups had to know by now—they’d probably show up any second!

But then, just as Arthur was holding his own, the Supreme Elder made a move—the array went wild. Two massive blood-vein arms locked onto Arthur, two more grabbed his legs, and then iron fists smashed in from all sides. Arthur could block for a bit, but not forever—soon he was covered in bloody welts, barely able to move.

The crowd was stunned—no matter how talented Arthur Shentu was, even he couldn’t hold out against this insane barrage!

Why haven’t the higher-ups done anything yet? Elder Harold Hong was sweating buckets. When Arthur attacked, the seal loosened a bit—giving Harold a chance to report the crisis. He’d already notified the top brass, and with things this bad, they should’ve jumped in instantly. But there was still no response…
