"Spare us! We'll be your slaves, serving you for all eternity!" Right now, those Heavenly Troops were begging Ryan Ling for their lives like crazy. For them, death was even more terrifying than for mortals—after all, they'd already enjoyed supreme glory. If they died so easily, they'd fall straight into the deepest hell and have to start all over again. How could they accept that? Their fear of death was off the charts.
"I already gave you guys a chance, but you insisted on walking this road. Who else is there to blame? Begging now is useless. Today, I'm sending you off on behalf of all living beings!" Ryan Ling spoke with zero hesitation, totally decisive. He'd already made up his mind—even if he poked a hole in the heavens today, he'd do it with a smile!
"No, no...!" The Heavenly Troops could feel the endless killing intent pouring off Ryan Ling. They were scared out of their minds now, yelling for help and praying the heavens would bail them out. After all, they had a massive backer behind them!
But right as they started calling for help, crazed thunder rumbled in the skies above. Clearly, an even stronger power was brewing behind the scenes. Losing a single Golden Immortal might not mean much, but if all these Heavenly Troops got wiped out, it would be a huge humiliation for the Immortal World!
"Ancestors, save us! We don't want to die!" The Heavenly Troops obviously felt that power from above too, and instantly started screaming at the top of their lungs.
"Ryan Ling, things have gotten way out of hand now—there's no way to clean this up easily..." Lady Melody beside him was already pale with fear. She knew exactly how scary the real power behind the Immortal World was. In the Immortal World, even Golden Immortals are just the bottom rung. Above Golden Immortal are Da Luo Golden Immortal, then Origin Immortal, then Ancestral Immortal, then Saint Immortal... Those are the true top dogs. Ryan Ling's current strength might be super strong in the Immortal Domain World—or honestly, in any world—but compared to the real big shots in the Immortal World, he's still way too weak. Some of those gods could literally kill Ryan with a yawn. And now, with all this chaos, it's only going to get harder to control.
"It's too late—there's no way back, and I don't want to clean up anymore. Whoever shows up today, I'm taking their damn head!" Ryan Ling totally got what Lady Melody was thinking, but right now, he'd been pushed to the edge. He was itching to go head-to-head with the entire Immortal World, even if it was like an egg smashing into a rock. The urge to fight back had been building up for lifetimes—if he didn't explode now, he'd completely fall apart!
Lady Melody couldn't help but shiver inside. She could feel the shadow of Ryan Ling's past life getting stronger and stronger. Seeing this play out, she finally understood—Ryan Ling had made up his mind, and nothing in the world could drag him back now. She didn't say another word.
"You little bastard, what are you trying to do? Are you seriously going to go up against heaven? Are you insane?"
"Let us go—if you do it now, there's still room to negotiate. Otherwise, you'll face endless attacks, and no matter where you run, it'll be a dead end!"
"You little bastard, did you hear me? Let us go—this is your last chance! I suggest you think twice!"

Right now, those Heavenly Troops were screaming their heads off—arrogant and terrified at the same time. Sure, there was power backing them up, but it wouldn't arrive instantly. Clearly, they needed to stall for time!
"Too late. I'm wiping you all out—no one can stop me. Die!" Ryan Ling didn't hesitate for a second. He swung that invisible slaughter blade down, and a deafening boom echoed through the air. Heaven and earth shook, everything withered, and it was like the whole world stopped spinning for a moment. Everyone stared at Ryan Ling, unable to believe what they were seeing. The Heavenly Troops were instantly decapitated—their heads and bodies totally separated. Ryan Ling didn't let their corpses go to waste, either; he scooped them all up. These bodies were perfect materials for his future step into the Golden Immortal Realm, so now that he'd killed them, he wasn't letting them go!
But just then, heaven and earth trembled—the Immortal World's power was finally about to strike. And it was raging, no doubt about it. Before, that force seemed to be just watching, thinking Ryan Ling wouldn't actually go this far. But now that he'd really slaughtered all those Heavenly Troops, he'd totally pissed them off. A tidal wave of power swept out, trying to devour Ryan Ling whole!
"Run! Run!" The so-called experts nearby weren't sticking around—they all bolted like crazy. This force was way, way stronger than the Heavenly Troops; everyone could feel it. At minimum, it was Da Luo Golden Immortal level. A powerhouse like that could wipe out entire worlds with a snap of their fingers!
"Ryan Ling, we can't stay here—gotta go now!" Lady Melody shouted, her voice totally changed by fear.
Ryan Ling knew perfectly well—even with the finger fragment's power, he couldn't fight this force head-on. His only option was to run. In the instant he attacked the Heavenly Troops, he'd already planned his escape route: the Demonic World. Right now, only the Demonic World had the strength to stand up to the Immortal World. Those two realms were mortal enemies; the Immortal World would never invade the Demonic World lightly!
"Go!" Ryan Ling didn't hesitate. He shouted, grabbed Lady Melody, and swept up Jade Xuan, Linglong, Joanna Long, the entire Ruins Sect, all the citizens of Immortal-Domain City, and even every living being on Earth—he stuffed them all straight into the Golden Immortal Conch!
This conch could carry everything. If you were above the Immortal Realm, maybe you'd feel something, but anyone below that level had no clue their whole world had just been moved by Ryan Ling!
Right now, nobody else could help Ryan Ling—only Lady Melody could still fly alongside him. Of course, her Profound Immortal power was pretty average now, just enough to give Ryan a little backup!
"Go—head for the Demonic World!" Ryan Ling made a move so wild it shocked everyone. Forget top experts from every realm—even the Immortal World's power was stunned for a second. This was crazier than conquering new territory!
"Got it!" Lady Melody snatched up the Golden Immortal Conch, while Ryan Ling stayed behind to cover the retreat. He'd already coordinated with that Immortal World powerhouse—this escape plan was all his, and every route was open!
But just as the two of them started shifting toward the Demonic World, that overwhelming Immortal World power finally descended. A voice so intimidating it made your skin crawl roared, "Kid, you think you can escape? After slaughtering so many Heavenly Troops, not even dying ten thousand times could pay for your crimes. Die!"
Boom—a monstrous force slammed straight into Ryan Ling. He felt like his whole body was about to crack apart. This power was way too strong—he could barely breathe!
"Lady Melody, you take everyone and go first!" Ryan Ling shouted. He had no way out now—even if he couldn't block this attack, no one from any world could!
"No way—we can't leave you behind!" Lady Melody yelled. Right now, Ryan Ling was their only hope. If the Immortal World killed him, they'd all be doomed—even in the Demonic World, they'd be walking dead!
"Go! Go!" Ryan Ling screamed, his whole body growing darker as the Immortal World's power closed in—so close it could devour him at any second...
