Cherry Miller, feeling down because her engagement to Yina Yin was ending in two days, didn’t join in the excitement.
Cherry Miller entered the living room and immediately saw a tall, handsome boy sitting nervously on the sofa.
He heard the commotion, quickly stood up, and looked in Cherry Miller’s direction.
"Who is that?" Yuzhen Yin asked curiously. "Am I seeing things, or does he look a bit like me?"
Ryan King took a closer look and said, "He really does look a bit like you."
Gavin Gao shook his head and said nothing.
Mason Kerr spoke slowly, "It’s probably not you he resembles, but Ethan Yin."
Leo and Theo Mo clapped and said, "I get it now, this must be the 'Little Yin CEO' Gavin Gao mentioned. Wow, he’s got some nerve calling himself that!"
Yina Yin glanced at Cherry Miller and asked, "Alright, what are you up to this time?"
Cherry Miller walked over as she spoke, "Do you know who caused such a stir last night that my mom had to flee overseas to avoid the fallout?"
She let out a cold laugh and continued before anyone could ask, "It was an underground boxer named Howson. He did it all because the woman he loves is chasing after Ethan Yin. After Ethan rejected her, he wanted to ruin me, make sure I’d lose my standing for good."
Gavin Gao couldn’t help blurting out, "What kind of twisted logic is that? Is this guy nuts? He’s helping the woman he loves chase after another man?"
Yina Yin replied with biting sarcasm, "If his brain wasn’t scrambled, he wouldn’t be doing something so hopeless. So, what’s your plan now?"
Cherry Miller grinned mysteriously. "Isn’t Miss Casey obsessed with Ethan Yin? So, what do you think she’ll do if she meets a top-notch Ethan Yin impersonator when she can’t get the real thing? In her country, they don’t fuss about propriety or shame. When it comes to chasing true love, they really don’t hold back."
The group all looked at Cherry Miller, instantly catching on to her meaning.
Ryan King’s eyes sparkled and he chuckled, "You want to see if Howson can stay loyal while Miss Casey keeps falling for someone else? Cherry, you’re really pulling the rug out from under him!"
Leo Mo chimed in, "Since ancient times, the human heart is the hardest thing to test. Miss Casey’s never succeeded in winning Ethan over, so Howson’s always kept his cool. But if there’s a high-quality Ethan Yin impersonator by her side and Howson still stays calm, then I’ll admit he’s a real warrior."
Theo Mo asked, "Cherry, you’ve got other tricks up your sleeve, right? There’s no way things are that simple."
Cherry Miller gave a soft laugh. "Of course it’s not that simple. If a daughter causes a huge mess and angers the Yin Family, don’t you think Miss Casey’s father should pay a price to bring his daughter home safe and sound?"
