Gradually, the surface of Divine Law was bound together by two massive Cycle Sigils. Blackness began to seep in, and soon the entire surface transformed into a Yin-Yang Symbol. Divine Law now looked strange—like a colossal Yin-Yang sphere, but with two vivid blood-red Cycle Sigils fused at its core.
I knew exactly what those three behind me were thinking. Slowly, I rose to my feet and turned around.
"You can no longer take Divine Law."
The moment my words fell, the space around Divine Law split open. From the cracks on either side, golden currents surged into Divine Law.
"So that's how it is, Ethan Zhang."
Tan Tian seemed to understand something. I slowly closed my eyes and let out a long breath.
"Buddha and Dao descend..."
With a thunderous boom, my eyes flew open—my left eye became a Yin-Yang Symbol, my right eye a Cycle Sigil. In an instant, I charged straight at Tan Tian. Emperor God and the other two were no longer a major threat; Tan Tian was the real danger. I had to cripple him—this was the most important thing I could think of before death.
"I will never allow you to do this, Ethan Zhang."
Emperor God roared in fury. In an instant, the three of them flew toward the two ruptured openings, still channeling power into Divine Law. Divine Law continued to expand. I changed direction and appeared before one of Emperor God's avatars. The blood-red Cycle Sigil in my right eye pierced through the avatar, and Emperor God's form turned to ash before my eyes. I rushed to Emperor God's true body—Phantom Sage and Sylvia Yan were there too. I shouted, raising my hand.
"You do not belong here. You should not exist in this world. You... are already dead. Go back!"
With a deafening crash, a bright white light struck all three. They stared at me in disbelief.
"Ethan Zhang..."
Gradually, the three old rulers of Hell blurred in the light, their bodies fading away. I could not kill them—no one could. They were already dead; no matter how powerful the force, it was the same. Once human, they became ghosts, and then died as ghosts. That is the final form of death—the end. What I was doing now was using Buddhist and Taoist power to send them directly back to the shadow world where they belonged.
With a gust, the three old rulers of Hell vanished into smoke. I stared quietly at Tan Tian in the distance. He glared at me coldly, his body fully restored. His form began to darken again, and monstrous, pitch-black beast faces appeared across his skin. Clenching his fists, he slowly approached me.
"Did you really think you could threaten me, Ethan Zhang?"
I let out a cry and shook my head.
"Even if the Buddhist and Taoist Ancestors came together, I could crush them."
With a thunderous boom, Tan Tian suddenly attacked, driving his fist into my chest. My eyes widened as I was sent flying toward the now enormous Divine Law. Two massive golden palms appeared and caught me. With a sharp whistle, a Yin-Yang Blade shot out from Divine Law. I grabbed it; the Yin-Yang Symbol in my left eye began to spin, and the Cycle Sigil in my right eye radiated waves of crimson light.
In that instant, a chill ran through my heart. The Tan Tian before me looked entirely different—now a dull yellow, nothing but a corpse. But it was not just a corpse; it was as if countless corpses were piled together. The stench of rot filled my nose.
