The infiltration of spies into the Kingdom of Qin was something that Lily Evans and her team were well aware of.

There was no doubt about it—both the Kingdom of Chu and Jin were keeping a close eye on Qin, watching Alexander Hayes and Lily Evans’s every move.

Of course, there were plenty of spies.

Especially now, with Qin’s economy and agriculture developing at lightning speed, Lily Evans could guess with her eyes closed that Leonard Li and Gregory Gu Jr. were getting restless, eager to find out what she was up to.

And the Textile Works—Lily Evans’s top priority—was a prime target for infiltration.

That’s why Lily Evans sent a team for a surprise inspection, determined to weed out anyone suspicious before training the female workers.

After more than half a year of hard work, only three machines had been built.

If a spy managed to sabotage the power looms, the entire management team would be held responsible.
