Cherry Miller pressed nervously against the wall, wanting to escape, but there was nowhere to run.
As Ethan Yin leaned in closer and closer, Cherry Miller couldn't help but avert her gaze.
"Cherry Miller." Ethan Yin looked at her evasive eyes, the corner of his mouth curling into a triumphant smile. "Can you honestly say you don't like me?"
"Of course... I wouldn't dare." Cherry bit her lip and said, "Ethan Yin is incredibly handsome. Honestly, what girl wouldn't like you? I just... don't deserve it."
"Who decides if you're worthy or not?" Ethan Yin raised his voice slightly. "Hmm?"
"I..." Cherry Miller didn't know what to say.
Oh God, someone please come save her!
If this keeps up, she's going to be questioned until her legs give out!
Maybe the heavens heard her prayers, because at that exact moment, her phone suddenly rang.
Cherry was overjoyed. She grabbed her phone and answered it without even checking who was calling. "Hello? Uh..."
She barely got a word out before her lips were suddenly sealed.
Ethan Yin pulled Cherry Miller into his arms and kissed her fiercely.
Cherry's eyes flew wide open!
She never expected Ethan Yin would steal a kiss while she was on the phone—especially such a forceful one!
Just then, Eric Chen's voice came from the other end of the phone: "Cherry? Cherry? Why aren't you saying anything? You finally answered my call, I'm so happy. We haven't seen each other for days—are you free tonight? I'd like to take you to dinner! Also, I got us two tickets to a nearby theater."
Cherry's mind went completely blank. She didn't dare make a sound, her body stiff as Ethan Yin kissed her with overwhelming force.
Eric Chen kept talking on the other end, but here, the kiss was a complete mess.
Ethan Yin grabbed Cherry's phone from her hand, didn't even look at it, and just held down the power button to turn it off!
A clown like that thinks he can pursue his woman?
He's really asking for trouble!
Cherry Miller was just about to protest when Ethan Yin's arm tightened around her waist, pressing her firmly against his chest.
She found herself nestled in Ethan Yin's embrace, unable to move, forced to silently endure his domineering, passionate kiss.
No one knew how long it lasted, but when Ethan Yin finally let go, Cherry Miller's face was flushed bright red.
"Still want to leave me?" Ethan Yin's lips curled up. "Do you really think that man who called you is better than me?"
"Ethan..." Cherry started to speak, but Ethan Yin raised his hand and pressed a finger to her lips.
Ethan Yin gently touched the lips he'd just kissed, his heart surging with emotion.
His eyes darkened, and he said, "I told you, don't call me that!"
"That's my duty." Cherry Miller forced some distance between them. "I'm not worthy."
"Is it Eric Chen who's making you say things like that?" Ethan Yin looked relaxed. "Do you want to see how much your chosen man can really handle?"
"What are you going to do?" Cherry instinctively looked up at him, startled.
"Just a simple experiment." Ethan Yin grabbed Cherry's hand and strode outside.
Quentin Sheng was waiting respectfully outside the door.
"Where are we going?" Cherry couldn't help but ask.
"Somewhere perfect for watching the show." Ethan Yin opened the car door and scooped Cherry Miller right inside.
He. Actually. Picked. Her. Up... And. Put. Her. In.
Cherry glanced at the height difference between herself and Ethan Yin, feeling a little frustrated.
His strength was just... on a whole other level!
"Quentin, drive." Ethan Yin ordered.
"Yes, sir." Quentin Sheng smiled, closed the door, jumped into the driver's seat, and sped away from Saint Diana Academy.
Cherry Miller wanted to keep some distance from Ethan Yin, but before she could move, his arm tightened around her waist again, pulling her back into his embrace.
Ethan Yin was so tall!
He was over six foot two, built like an athlete.
Cherry Miller was only five foot three!
In Ethan Yin's arms, she was completely powerless!
"Want to go another round?" Ethan Yin grinned wickedly at Cherry.
Cherry's face turned bright red in an instant.
Quentin Sheng was still driving up front!
He could totally hear them!
She was also a chief assistant, just like Quentin, so why was the gap so huge?
She just wanted to be a simple chief assistant, not someone who climbed the social ladder!
