First Time at a Hotel

12/2/2025

Shawn Young decided to discuss with Rainie Cheng how to get Leo Chen’s secret ledger from his hands. After some brainstorming, they couldn’t come up with a good plan. Just as they were thinking, a text message arrived—another one from Yvonne Hu. The message was just two words: 'Hurry up!'

'Hehe—she’s even more impatient than me! That’s a good sign!' Shawn Young got excited, quickly said goodbye to Rainie Cheng, claiming he had 'something' to do, then logged off his computer.

It was already 7 PM and night had just fallen. The other three guys from Dorm 2 had already gone off on their own dates. Shawn Young changed clothes, hurried to the university gate, grabbed a cab, and headed straight for the western development district.

Nanning City’s western development district has been around for a while—packed with hotels and office buildings, with lots of companies having branches there. It’s the city’s most established business area, and the famous five-star Golden Bay Hotel is right in the heart of it.

Shawn Young never understood why Yvonne Hu would leave her luxury villa just to come to a five-star hotel. Lost in thought, the cab arrived at the Golden Bay Hotel. After paying, Shawn spotted a familiar figure waiting nearby—who else but Yvonne Hu!

Shawn Young’s heart skipped a beat as he walked quickly toward Yvonne Hu. Under the night sky, she carried a light blue purse and wore a tight black dress that showed off her stunning figure. She stood quietly, her gentle features blending into the darkness—a real vision.

Her long, shiny black hair draped over her shoulders, making her look like a fairy from a dream. Every part of her radiated irresistible charm—even her aloofness was magnetic! That tight black dress perfectly hugged her curves, and her long, fair legs made Shawn Young’s lips go dry and his stomach heat up.

'Hey—I’m here!' Shawn Young greeted Yvonne Hu, his eyes still lingering over her.

'Yeah, I see you. What took you so long? I’ve been waiting here forever!' Yvonne Hu said, a hint of playful annoyance in her voice.

"Hehe—when the campus beauty asks you out, of course I have to dress up and look sharp! Don’t you think so?" Shawn Young said with a grin.

"Hmph—stop being cheeky! I’ve already booked the room, it’s on the seventh floor, and I’m all set! Let’s go up now!" Yvonne Hu said, a little shy and nervous.

"Whoa—a hotel room! You’re... already prepared~ we’re..." Shawn Young’s eyelids twitched and his gaze heated up. He hadn’t expected Yvonne Hu to book a room, and to be 'all set'!

"You big rascal, don’t get any weird ideas! I just thought it’d be inconvenient for you to massage me at home, so I booked a room here. Once you get rid of those nasty bugs in my body, we’ll give up the room! Got it?" Seeing Shawn Young’s look, Yvonne Hu quickly explained, worried he’d misunderstood.

"Oh! Oh! Got it, I get it—haha—don’t want to disturb the neighbors! Sounds good, let’s do it here!" Shawn Young hurriedly reined in his wild thoughts, not wanting to scare Yvonne Hu away. That would be a disaster.

"Alright—let’s go up! Room 76, seventh floor. Here’s the key card!" Yvonne Hu pulled out a VIP card for the Golden Bay Hotel from her purse and handed it to Shawn Young, then linked her arm with his as they walked inside.

As soon as they stepped into the luxuriously decorated Golden Bay Hotel, the two headed for the elevator. Shawn Young felt like he was dreaming—Yvonne Hu had always been that unattainable ice goddess in his mind. Who’d have thought his first ever hotel stay would be with her? The thrill was unreal, and Shawn felt like he was floating.

Inside the elevator, Yvonne Hu quickly let go of Shawn Young’s arm and said softly, "This is actually my first time booking a hotel room!"

"Eh—what a coincidence!? It’s my first time too! I’m a little nervous, haha—" Shawn Young chimed in, trying to show off his 'innocence.'

"Don’t get any weird ideas! I just can’t believe my first time booking a hotel room is with a guy! Oh my god, it’s unreal—" Yvonne Hu covered her face, embarrassed.

"Yeah, I really didn’t expect this either! But don’t worry, I don’t mean anything else—" Shawn Young quickly assured her.

"Do you think I’m... hard to get close to?" Yvonne Hu suddenly asked.

"Uh—how should I put it—kind of. You rarely smile, don’t really hang out with others, and you always seem a bit distant, like you’ve got something on your mind." Shawn Young answered carefully.

To his surprise, Yvonne Hu nodded and said, "Yeah—that’s right, I do have things on my mind, but I’ve never found someone I could talk to about them. So... that’s just how it is!"

"Oh! Aren’t you and Qianqian best friends? You mean you can’t talk to her about it?" Shawn Young asked curiously.

"Uh—for this particular thing, I really don’t want to tell her! Do you... do you consider me a good friend?" Yvonne Hu asked Shawn Young in return.

"Of course! We’re already good friends!" Shawn Young replied.

Just then, the elevator doors opened. Yvonne Hu pulled Shawn Young out, whispering as they walked, "Then—once we’re in the room, I’ll tell you what’s been on my mind!"

"Oh—alright!" Shawn Young was curious about what was bothering her, especially since she wouldn’t even tell Qianqian, but she was willing to tell him.
