"Master, where to now?"
In the car, Big Tank's face was swollen like a bun, but he still looked at Evan Lin in the back seat with barely contained excitement.
With the Lewis family—once the overlord of Minghai—now finished, only Imperial Grand and the Niu family were left standing in the city.
On the other side, Shawn Shi and Donny Dong had both been badly hurt by Old Wu's punch.
Taking a punch from an Inner-Strength expert like that, it's going to take a long time for them to recover.
"To the Niu family."
Evan Lin sat in the back, speaking calmly: "This time, let's settle everything once and for all."
Evan returned to Minghai this time for one reason: to wipe out every last hidden threat, once and for all.
Previously there was Clinton Lewis, Frank Lewis, and even Niu Fan—the one who once KO'd Evan with a single punch and literally sent him flying through time.
All of them had grudges with Evan Lin. Maybe it started small, but by now, things had gotten completely out of control.
Evan Lin never liked to put his faith in human nature. From a nameless Liuli Palace disciple to the Nine Mysteries Immortal Lord, centuries of experience had shown him more people and more stories than he could count.
This full sweep of Minghai was also to erase any lingering threats—making sure his mother, Joy Zheng, would be safe.
The car sped down the road.
On a wide, tree-lined avenue.
Up ahead, a man was standing in the road.
He was a towering two meters tall, with a massive dumbbell set down beside him.
That dumbbell looked to be at least a hundred kilos, and where it pressed into the ground, it left a shallow groove in the pavement.
"Should we just run him over?"
Seeing the man blocking the road, Big Tank asked in a low voice.
"Stop the car."
Evan Lin spoke coolly.
Big Tank stopped the car. The man in front glared at them and shouted, "Niu family—Titan Niu!"
"I heard Evan 'Nine Mysteries' Lin is here, and that you wiped out Frank Lewis! Now I, Titan Niu, have come—just to seek defeat!"
Titan Niu's voice was rough, his muscles bulging all over. He had a square jaw, the complete opposite of Frank Lewis.
Frank Lewis might've had a touch of good looks, but Titan Niu was pure brute force and menace.
He stood there, eyes locked on their car.
Evan Lin pushed open the door and stepped out, sizing him up. "Late-stage Inner Strength? You're in a hurry to die, aren't you?"
Titan Niu saw the white-clad youth step out and, with just a glance, Evan had pegged his cultivation level exactly. Titan was startled, but quickly steadied himself, staring straight at Evan: "You're Evan 'Nine Mysteries' Lin?"
"That's me. So what?"
Evan nodded slightly. "In the whole Niu family, you're the only one with a bit of ability. But this little bit is nothing worth mentioning."
"You should know, standing in front of my car is like a mantis trying to block a chariot. You'd be better off using this time to run for your life—maybe you'd have a chance to survive."
Evan Lin spoke indifferently.
"I'm not the kind who fears death! Since you've set your sights on the Niu family, even if it kills me, I'll stand in your way!"
Titan Niu glared fiercely, grabbed the hundred-kilo dumbbell at his side, and hoisted it up as if it weighed nothing. "Back on White Dragon Mountain, you beat Niu Fan. That score gets settled today, too!"
"I may not be your match, but can you promise me one thing?"
Titan Niu's voice was deep and booming.
"What is it?"
Evan Lin raised an eyebrow.
"If I die, the Niu family swears never to set foot in Minghai again. The whole clan will leave the city forever. All I ask is that you spare the old, the weak, the sick, and the helpless in my family. Will you agree?"
Titan Niu shouted, staring at Evan Lin.
Today's fight was inevitable.
Minghai City had always been a place of shifting power and hidden storms.
At first, the Shaw family, Niu family, Lewis family, and Imperial Grand kept each other in check, and things were relatively peaceful.
But after the Shaw family was wiped out, both the Lewis and Niu families went into hiding, waiting for a chance to swallow up Big Tank's turf.
Later, Frank Lewis made the first move. Titan Niu originally planned to let Frank and Big Tank wear each other down, then swoop in like a mantis stalking the cicada. But he never expected Evan 'Nine Mysteries' Lin to appear out of nowhere and wipe out the Lewis family in no time!
Such overwhelming power left the entire Niu family in shock.
Titan Niu guessed Evan would come for the Niu family next, so he waited here on purpose.
"Spare your whole family? What makes you think you can bargain with me—your little dumbbell?" Evan Lin shook his head. "From the moment you chose to stand here, the Niu family lost any right to mercy."
"If your whole clan had just stayed home, waiting for me to arrive and bowed the moment I walked in, maybe I would've let you live. But you chose to resist, so you'd better be ready to face the consequences!"
As Evan finished speaking, Titan Niu's face twisted in fury. "You're pushing me too far!"
He hefted that massive hundred-kilo dumbbell and charged straight for Evan, roaring like a beast unleashed.
Every stomp shook the ground, and qi flared around the dumbbell in his grip—each surge packed with raw, terrifying power.
"I don't care if you're Evan 'Nine Mysteries' Lin or Evan 'Ten Mysteries' Lin! If you want a fight, let's go all out!"
Titan Niu let out a wild roar, charging like a rampaging beast. The dumbbell in his hand sliced through the air with a vicious swing.
Boom!
Evan tapped the ground with one foot and launched himself into the air.
He'd barely left his spot when Titan's dumbbell smashed into the pavement, leaving a massive crater.
Titan didn't pause for a second—he roared again and charged at Evan!
Evan stayed calm. As Titan swung the dumbbell down again, Evan stepped forward, powering his shoulder and slamming into Titan's chest.
Mountain-Press Shoulder!
For a split second, time seemed to freeze.
Then Titan's huge body was blasted off his feet by the Mountain-Press Shoulder, tumbling across the road. Blood gushed from his nose and mouth, and his organs were wrecked in an instant.
Evan plucked a pebble from the ground, flicked it with his fingers, and a flash of light shot out.
A second later, Evan opened the car door and got back inside.
Just as the door shut, the pebble punched straight through Titan's forehead!
"Drive."
Evan said blandly.
Big Tank didn't dare hesitate and quickly answered, "On it!"
Titan Niu's corpse lay sprawled across the avenue, his eyes still wide with that Vajra-like angry glare.
But no matter how fierce he looked, he was just a body cooling on the pavement.
"Once things are wrapped up here, it's about time I went home for a visit, too."
Evan gazed out the window, his eyes distant, as if peering through endless ages.
Thinking of his mother, whom he hadn't truly seen in over three hundred years, a rare softness flickered in Evan's eyes—blended with a faint, icy glint.
