Chapter 1248

In an instant, only a dozen or so Level-39 Alchemical Golems remained on the battlefield.

"Stop him."

Leon called out in a low voice and charged straight toward the spellcasting Alchemical Golem. After it unleashed a beam of radiant energy, this was the perfect moment to attack—or rather, to dismantle it.

A spellcasting Alchemical Golem with spell amplification abilities—if I didn't take it apart, I'd be letting myself down.

As Leon rapidly closed in, the Twinblade Alchemical Golem immediately abandoned Raymond and turned to pursue Leon instead.

Raymond let out a cold laugh. A sliver of white light flashed along the edge of his black sword, and his body vanished from sight, unleashing a dozen or so Aura Slashes in rapid succession.

The Aura Slashes spun like boomerangs, intercepting the Twinblade Alchemical Golem from the front. A massive wave of deathly stillness erupted, instantly slowing the golem's speed. The Godspeed rune on its forehead seemed to falter under the corrosive aura, its glow gradually dimming.

Meanwhile, Leon had already closed in on the spellcasting Alchemical Golem. Anderson's Elemental Storm and Saedus's Flame Torrent swept forward first, suppressing the volatile construct.

Leon continuously spat out Law Sigils, which surged like a flood and imprinted themselves onto the Alchemical Golem's body. Strange patterns appeared one after another as the Law Sigils took form.

The Alchemical Golem’s internal mana fiercely resisted, but its speed was no match for Leon’s Law Sigil seals. In an instant, the overwhelming number of Law Sigils drowned the spellcasting construct.

The Law Sigils first severed the mana supply to its arms, then its limbs, then its torso, forcibly suppressing all its mana within the mana reactor. Finally, the golem lost control over its own body, and Leon pressed a hand against it.

Three seconds later, the Alchemical Golem exploded with a bang, scattering a pile of parts across the ground…

Raymond, still fighting in the distance, couldn’t help but twitch at the sight. Distracted for a split second, he was slashed by the Twinblade Alchemical Golem, leaving a crack in his Layered Battle Armor and a tear in his combat attire.

This is unreal—he dismantled a Sky Rank Alchemical Golem with his bare hands. Is there any golem that this guy can’t take apart?

He’s only a Ninth-Rank Title Archmage! Seriously, have outsiders become this terrifying now?

Even if the others aren’t as terrifying as him, they can’t be far off. No, when I get back, I must convince the Abbot to end our seclusion!

Leon finished the fight so quickly, and with the greatest threat—the spellcasting Alchemical Golem—reduced to a heap of parts, Raymond no longer had to focus on it. He could now fully commit to battling the Twinblade Alchemical Golem.

With the power of a Second-Rank Sky Rank expert unleashed, there was no way a First-Rank Sky Rank Alchemical Golem could hold its own—especially against Raymond’s Undying Aura, which severely restricted these constructs.

The Hidden Mountain Monastery’s fighting style emphasizes blocking over raw defense. So far, the Twinblade Alchemical Golem had only landed a hit when Raymond was briefly distracted.
