This day would be one that no human on Earth could ever forget. On this day, a new planet suddenly appeared beside Earth. Whether in its revolution or rotation, this planet was identical to Earth, and it was very likely a life-bearing world.
In other words, the solar system abruptly gained a new planet, and this planet was much closer to Earth than Mars. Originally, Mars was considered the fourth planet in the solar system, but with the arrival of this new world, Mars became the fifth.
After the planet appeared in the solar system, nearly every capable nation on Earth sent their strongest space teams and scientific experts to explore it.
A year later, after sacrificing the lives of many outstanding astronauts and scientists, it was finally confirmed that this planet was indeed a life-bearing world.
This planet, which had suddenly barged into the solar system to become Earth’s neighbor, was extremely close. To reach this new world, all one needed was to board a Quantum Spaceplane and fly directly through the atmosphere to arrive.
China’s Quantum Spaceplane technology had fully matured four years ago, and now it could even reach speeds close to sixty times the speed of sound.
The reason so many scientists and astronauts were lost during the initial exploration was because this new planet was strange. To enter it, one had to pass through a specific spatial portal; otherwise, a unique force on the planet’s surface would instantly tear them apart.
This surface force was peculiar—somewhat like magnetism, yet entirely different. Even though the planet was so close to Earth, the presence of this force had no impact whatsoever on either planet.
The first person to set foot on this planet was a scientist from China, and it was they who discovered the secret of the entry portal.
It is said that upon entering the planet, besides the lush greenery, the most striking sight was a half-fallen Statue of the Fairy. Thus, the planet was named Celestia.
