Akira Akita was secretly shocked when the old man revealed his identity so easily. But he had already decided to end the fight quickly. The sudden appearance of this terrifyingly skilled white-robed elder forced Akira Akita to risk everything—he would use his ultimate move and strike first!

Without a word, Akira Akita channeled all his true power into his 'Flowing Cloud Slash.' With a roar, he lunged forward, merging blade and body into one. The air flashed with chilling light—facing such a formidable foe, Akira Akita unleashed his signature death move: 'Instant Hell Kill!'

The white-robed elder frowned, his ancient sword tracing an arc before his chest, conjuring a gentle sword shadow. As 'Flowing Cloud Slash' struck, the elder's sword caught the blade's energy, and no matter how hard Akira Akita pushed his true power, he couldn't break through!

Akira Akita was shaken. His famous technique had been countered by the white-robed elder. He quickly abandoned the 'Flowing Cloud Slash,' leaped up, and aimed a heavy kick at the elder's head. Hidden in his boot was a poisoned dagger—deadly enough to kill instantly if it struck flesh, even a master!

“Hmph—such cheap tricks!” the elder snorted, casually deflecting Akira Akita’s kick with his left hand. A powerful force spiraled into Akira Akita’s leg, knocking him off balance—he crashed several meters away with a heavy thud.

Akira Akita landed right next to Shawn Young. Seizing the opportunity, Shawn quickly set Fiona Tang down and pounced, pinning Akira Akita. He unleashed a wild barrage of punches to Akira’s head, then stood up and stomped him all over. Akira Akita was left bloodied and covered in shoeprints, nearly knocked out. Shawn, worried he might wake up, jumped high and stomped on his head again, ripping out a chunk of hair and scalp—blood flew everywhere.

Akira Akita’s protective aura had already been shattered by the elder, and now Shawn’s beating left him unable to hold on. With a miserable howl, Akira Akita fainted—though Shawn, thinking he was faking, kept kicking and punching him!

The white-robed elder spoke up from the side, “Hey, kid, stop—if you keep going, he’ll die. I need to take him alive. And Team Leader Tang has fainted—you should wake her up first!”

Hearing this, Shawn finally stopped, sheepishly saying, “Uh, sorry, senior—I just couldn’t help it, that guy almost killed me and Fiona!”

The white-robed elder nodded at Shawn Young and said, "I understand, but I have important questions for this guy, so I need to take him away. Let me check Team Leader Tang's injuries!"

As he spoke, the elder checked Fiona Tang’s pulse. Soon, his white eyebrows furrowed and he sighed, "Sigh—Team Leader Tang’s condition isn’t good! Her energy is in chaos. Here, dissolve this Nine-Turn Heart-Protecting Pill and feed it to her. She risked everything to save you, forcing her powers beyond their limit! Her meridians are badly damaged, so this pill will only stabilize her for now. There’s a strong evil chill left in her body—she needs something with powerful yang energy to recover, or her meridians will be ruined. Kid, you’ll have to save her yourself!"

The elder finished speaking and tossed a golden pill, slightly larger than a thumb, to Shawn Young, who caught it and asked, "Senior, after Fiona takes this pill, what about the evil chill in her body?"

The elder glanced at Shawn, a strange look flashing in his eyes, then chuckled, "To fully cure this chill, she needs to take something with strong innate yang essence—otherwise, her meridians will be destroyed. Kid, you’ll have to handle it! I’m taking this guy away. Remember, the Americans’ $200 million bounty is out, and more enemies are lurking in the shadows. I need to deal with those matters, so you must leave Peshawar tomorrow!" With that, the elder grabbed the unconscious Akira Akita, flashed to the market warehouse perimeter, and his sword blazed with fierce light—"Ah—ah! Ah!" A chorus of screams rang out as over twenty black-clad assailants, fighting Dragonforce Battalion members inside, dropped instantly, blood spurting from their throats. The black-clad men shuddered and died on the spot!

Shawn watched in awe—this elder was the most skilled master he’d ever seen, killing with a casual flick of the wrist! Shawn felt a surge of respect; this was the level he aspired to reach. He quickly called out, "Senior, thank you for saving us! May I know your name?"

The elder’s voice drifted on the night wind: "Heh, you finally show some manners, asking who I am. Team Leader Tang already called me by name—just call me Dragon King, like she does!"

"Dragon King! Ah! So you’re the Dragon King—the top-ranked master of the National Paranormal Task Force!" Shawn was thrilled, but as Dragon King’s figure vanished into the darkness, he realized he still had questions. He shouted after him, "But, senior, that powerful yang essence you mentioned—where am I supposed to find it?"

"You’ve got plenty of that inside your own body! Figure it out and give it to Team Leader Tang. I’m off—" Dragon King’s voice echoed through the night, then faded away as if he’d never been there at all.
