Violent spatial arrows and blades of time swept through the air, interwoven with waves of spatial dislocation.
Joe Di was already experienced; he dodged one spatial arrow after another and evaded the various blades of time. Despite the peril all around, he still did not draw any defensive artifact.
First, his physical body was strong enough; second, Joe Di believed he could evade these dangers. This was a form of confidence—after his power grew, such confidence became second nature.
As for the Destiny Sovereign, Moria West, she seemed to sense danger ahead of time, always managing to avoid it in advance. Her protective artifact was formidable, yet she never needed to use it. Joe Di watched in quiet amazement—every cultivator’s Grand Way had its own pride. He, too, could sense danger, but compared to Moria West, his intuition fell far short.
Moria West’s Dao techniques might not be the most powerful, but her grasp on the razor’s edge between life and death far surpassed Joe Di’s.
Seeing Joe Di move effortlessly through the cosmic passage, Moria West sighed inwardly. This was truly a top-tier cultivator of the Five Elements Universe. Such a powerhouse had even attained the Dao in the boundless chaos; if he returned to the Five Elements Universe, perhaps he really wouldn’t fear Du Bu. Or rather, even if he encountered Du Bu, Joe Di would still have a way to escape.
The two traversed the cosmic passage for several years before finally emerging, landing atop a massive stone.
Joe Di gazed at the pale violet boulder beneath his feet, thinking to himself, Could we have returned to the Stellar Stairway again? When he first climbed the Stellar Stairway, he’d encountered stones of every color.
"This should be the teleportation stone to the Five Elements Universe. It requires a cosmic crystal to activate," Moria West explained.
Joe Di’s heart sank. "Senior Sister Moria, does this mean we still can’t leave?"
Moria West smiled gently, producing half a Starshard and saying, "I still have half left. I obtained a Starshard in the Trinity Universe, but I only used half of it. I didn’t show it to you before, and I apologize for that."
This Starshard was of great importance; Destiny Sovereign had planned to use it to return to the Five Elements Universe and deliver news back home. Otherwise, she would have given it to Joe Di long ago.
Joe Di quickly said, "It’s alright, Senior Sister Moria. May I take a look at the Starshard?"
"Of course." Moria West handed the Starshard to Joe Di without the slightest hesitation.
As soon as the Starshard touched his palm, a vast and boundless Dao aura surged forth. Joe Di even sensed the insight he’d gained when stepping into the Third Step, a resonance similar to when he forged a realm from chaos.
"What a treasure! If this were used for cultivation, it would be extraordinary indeed." Joe Di exclaimed, handing the half Starshard back to Moria West.
Moria West shook her head. "After each universe is formed, Starshards become extremely scarce. Basically, no one uses Starshards for cultivation—they simply can’t afford to."
As she spoke, Moria West embedded the half Starshard into one side of the giant stone. In less than half a breath, Joe Di felt a mighty force sweep over him, and in the next instant, his entire body was whisked away.
Ever since his cultivation breakthrough, Joe Di had rarely felt dizzy during teleportation. Now that he had reached the Realm Creator stage, his power had ascended to a new level. Yet, in this cosmic passage, he was overcome by intense vertigo. His divine sense could not penetrate outward; he had no idea which space he was in.
He didn’t know how much time had passed before a powerful force of descent struck him, and Joe Di felt his feet slam into something as hard as iron stone.
Joe Di was overjoyed—he could sense the distinct laws of the Five Elements Universe. Not only that, he also felt divine energy in the air.
Without needing to check, Joe Di knew he had returned to the Five Elements Universe.
"Thank you, Senior Sister Moria. We’re truly back—this is definitely the Five Elements Universe." As Joe Di swept his divine sense outward, he expressed his gratitude to Moria West.
"Brother Di, there’s something wrong here." Moria West immediately put away the Celestial Map, her gaze scanning the surroundings.
Joe Di sensed it too—something was off about this place. The laws of the Five Elements Universe and the divine energy were correct, but there was a persistent feeling of discomfort.
The surroundings seemed to be a barren desert, with a recently dried-up river not far away, and even some traces of dead shells.
"Hahaha..." A booming laugh echoed as a fat wanderer slowly descended from the void.
That guy! Joe Di sneered inwardly—he recognized this fat wanderer as the one who protected the Immeasura Palace Lord.
"Joe Di, you really are something. Everyone thought you’d gone to the Stellar Stairway—even I believed it, and I confirmed it with Dominic Du. Who’d have guessed you were still wandering here, hiding in this corner. Well done, well done! Even I have to admit, you’re impressive. No wonder you’ve collected so many treasures..." The fat wanderer was secretly delighted as he spoke.
When Joe Di first saw him, he’d immediately escaped—the fat wanderer could not catch up at all. Joe Di’s movement technique was simply monstrous. But now, Joe Di was waiting for him to speak, and even after he’d set up his trap, Joe Di remained. That meant today, he would finally capture Joe Di alive.
"You’re the Western Bodhi Walker..." Moria West’s voice trembled, tinged with fear.
"Oh? Someone still remembers me, Sawyer?" Sawyer Walker exclaimed in surprise, his gaze landing on Destiny Sovereign Moria West.
After only a few breaths, Sawyer Walker laughed again. "Well done! So you’re the Destiny Sovereign. Wasn’t it said you’d gone to the Creation World? Why didn’t you go, and why are you hiding here...?"
Sawyer Walker seemed to recall something, his tone abruptly halting, eyes widening as he pointed at Moria West. "Did you come out of the Creation World?"
The thought that Moria West had emerged from the Creation World made Sawyer Walker even more excited.
"Moria West greets the Bodhi Lord Sawyer. I didn’t expect you to still be in the Five Elements Universe, not having left yet," Moria West said.
Her words were clear—this was the Five Elements Universe, and Sawyer Walker shouldn’t still be lingering here.
Joe Di said coldly, "What’s so special about coming out of the Creation World? Wasn’t the Immeasura Palace Lord you were hunting down also from the Creation World? You should already know all there is to know."
"She never went to the damn Creation World." Sawyer Walker snorted, then suddenly reached out to grab Moria West. "You’ll be my guest in my world for now. Let me chat with this kid first, then I’ll speak with you in detail."

Just as Moria West was about to dodge, her expression changed—she found herself bound by the other’s cosmic law domain.
Sawyer Walker gave a guileless smile. "Here, you don’t need to stand on ceremony. Just be a good guest."
Joe Di raised his fist and struck out. "You fake monk, would you die if you stopped bragging?"
Crack! The cosmic law domain binding Moria West split open, and her body instantly felt lighter. Without hesitation, she escaped and landed beside Joe Di.
A sharp gleam flashed in Sawyer Walker’s eyes as he stared at Joe Di in astonishment. "You’ve stepped into the Third Step? So soon?"
Joe Di sneered, "Why should a fake monk like you be the only one to reach the Third Step? Can’t Old Master Di do the same? Last time you ruined Old Master Di’s plans, I never got a chance to settle the score. Now you’ve come to me—that’s perfect. But wait a moment, let Old Master Di forge a new blade first. My old blade broke killing two little thieves, and I don’t have a handy artifact right now."
"Hahahaha..." Sawyer Walker roared with laughter again. "No wonder you dared to stay. I’ve traveled to several universes, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone who just reached the Third Step dare to take me on. Come, come, I’ll wait for you to forge your blade, then let’s see how you settle the score with me."
(That’s all for today’s update. Good night, friends!)
