Law of Time

The Spirit Lord's terror far surpasses that of Supreme Titus; whether in cultivation, power, or cunning, he is leagues above. That’s why Evan Chu has always treated the Spirit Lord as his greatest enemy—ever since he rebuilt Frostbane Divine Palace and clashed with Skycloud Palace, this grudge began.

"What’s wrong? We meet again, but you don’t look happy to see me."

The Spirit Lord wasn’t in any rush. He smiled as he looked at Evan Chu.

Evan Chu really wasn’t happy. Even though he’d expected a final showdown with the Spirit Lord, the guy showed up way too fast! He’d thought fusing with the Crimson Demon Star would take a while, but now the Spirit Lord was already standing right in front of him—which meant he’d already taken that last step by absorbing the Crimson Demon Star’s power!

"You’re faster than I imagined."

"Hahaha! What’s wrong? Are you saying that if I gave you enough time, you could actually beat me? Let me be honest: I didn’t even come here looking for you at first. According to my predictions, you were supposed to die, and that idiot Titus was supposed to survive.

But things turned out different—he died instead. Doesn’t matter though, the ending won’t change. You just finished a brutal battle, so you must be extremely weak right now.

Normally I wouldn’t lower myself to kicking someone when they’re down, but sorry—last time you escaped from me, you really pissed me off. So this time, I’m not showing any mercy. I’ll kill you the moment I get the chance!"

The Spirit Lord’s words made Evan Chu’s face change dramatically. So he really wasn’t going to give him a single moment to recover?

That’s right—Evan Chu had completely absorbed the power of the Big Dipper, and he’d mastered it perfectly. The starforce he possessed now was way above both Supreme Titus and the Spirit Lord, because the Big Dipper was a power that stood totally above the Crimson Demon Star and the Blood‑stained Demon Star!

But right now, things were way off from what Evan Chu had expected.

His plan was to keep absorbing the Blood‑stained Demon Star’s power in this endless void, then return and face the Spirit Lord—winning easily.

He never expected his battle with Titus would draw the Spirit Lord here early. What was even more frustrating: right now, the Big Dipper was suppressing the Blood‑stained Demon Star inside his Chaos World Domain, purifying and cleansing it—and Evan Chu had no clue how long that process would take!

But judging by his Moon–Sun Godpupils’ observation, it’d take at least three to five years—maybe even a hundred!

So during all that time, he could use the Big Dipper’s power, but he couldn’t directly fight with the Big Dipper itself. If the Spirit Lord came swinging the Crimson Demon Star at him, how was he supposed to defend himself?

Should he rely on his Chaos World Domain’s power to hold out? How long could he last? Or should he just hole up in his Chaos World Domain, keep building up strength until he surpassed the Spirit Lord—and only then come out to fight?

No way—Evan Chu couldn’t do it! He’d already lost to the Spirit Lord once. If he backed down again, even if he won in the future, he’d be left with a heart-devil!

Besides, the way things stood now, his fight with the Spirit Lord was set in stone! If he retreated today, the Spirit Lord would just keep climbing higher—and the road to vengeance would only get farther away.

No retreat! Evan Chu clenched his teeth hard in secret.

Right then, the Spirit Lord seemed to guess what Evan Chu was struggling with. He said, "Don’t even think about it. I know that weird space-domain power of yours is strong, but if you’re planning to hide inside and wait until you’re stronger than me before coming out to fight, forget it.

If you really try that, I might just head over to the Divine‑Beast Enclave and Netherworld to have some fun with your wives and daughters. I bet they’d be thrilled."

"Bastard! You dare?!"

That line struck Evan Chu’s reverse scale—the dragon’s forbidden spot. Touch it, and you die!

Boom!

With a single thought, Evan Chu’s Heart‑Sword grew tens of thousands of times larger in the endless void. Sevenfold Absolute Cleave and Heaven‑Phantom Thunder Cleave erupted at once!

But facing attacks that could easily kill any late‑stage God‑Emperor expert, the Spirit Lord just waved his hand with contempt and said,

"If this is your strongest battle form, you might as well give up and wait for death. I’m honestly disappointed—was this really all you used to kill Titus?

Fine, I apologize for calling that idiot a fool. He should’ve been called trash—hahaha!"

The Spirit Lord’s arrogant laughter echoed in Evan Chu’s ears, but the power he was unleashing now made Evan Chu’s heart tremble even more!

Whoosh! A gentle breeze swept by, and a streak of dark purple light flashed from the Spirit Lord’s sleeve. Evan Chu’s raging storm of attacks vanished without a trace.

"Again!"

Evan Chu didn’t give up. His Ninefold Divine‑Dragon Metamorphosis split into nine elemental avatars, and now, empowered by the Big Dipper, each one rivaled Titus before he drew on the Blood‑stained Demon Star.

The nine elemental avatars unleashed a barrage of attacks, while Evan Chu pushed his Perfect Blood to its absolute peak.

"Oh? Now that’s interesting—a fine blood and flesh foundation, I have to admit I’m jealous."

The Spirit Lord’s eyes widened in surprise as he stared at Evan Chu, then he sighed,

"Sigh! Your physical power is strong enough, but your mastery of stellar force is still lacking. With strength like this, you still can’t hurt me."

The nine elemental avatars transformed into the true forms of various divine beasts, sweeping up elemental power and blasting toward the Spirit Lord. But even this couldn’t force out the Spirit Lord’s Illusion‑Array Space Domain. He just waved his hand again and said,

"You’re too weak. Not worth a real fight. I waited a hundred thousand years for this? It’s almost laughable. Forget it, I won’t mock you anymore—you’re about to fall for good.

I’ll show those fools what kind of trash they picked as their third candidate! Hahaha!"

As soon as the Spirit Lord finished, his Illusion‑Array Space Domain appeared, now empowered by the Blood‑stained Demon Star—a terrifying force dozens of times greater than Titus ever showed!

Third candidate… What did that mean? The Spirit Lord’s words puzzled Evan Chu, but he had no time to think. All he wanted was for the Big Dipper to speed up its purification—so he could keep fighting with stellar force!

Suddenly, a boom erupted inside Evan Chu!

Inside his Chaos World Domain, the Big Dipper’s starlight flared again. If you looked closely, you’d see a crimson star appear at the center of the seven, its evil aura gone—now it radiated pure, powerful stellar force!

"Is this… purification complete? But why?"

Evan Chu’s head spun. He felt his soul force draining away, and a memory flashed through his mind—it was the time power once held by the Timewheel Bracelet! No, now that his inner world had evolved, it should be called the Law of Time!
