You Deserve to Die Because You Are from Wuzhou City
No one hesitated for even a second. After the last battle at Peachvale County, everyone knew exactly how important Lily Liu was. With Ryan Ling leading the way, the whole crew charged straight toward Welcome Grove.
It only took a minute or two before Ryan spotted Welcome Grove up ahead—now a total wreck, with pots, dishes, and crates of beer scattered all over the road. But what really pissed him off was seeing Lily Liu getting slapped across the face by some local punk.
“Son of a bitch, I want him dead!” Ryan’s rage exploded as he saw his big sister getting slapped for no reason. He knew perfectly well that this time, he was leading Harbor City’s team to compete in the Seven-City Martial Arts Tournament, and Lily Liu—happy and proud—had insisted on closing her inn for the whole event, coming to Wuzhou just to cheer for her little brother and personally handle everyone’s food.
Thinking back to those happy foodie days at Lily’s Country Inn, everyone naturally agreed to her plan. After all these days apart and everything they’d been through, the whole crew missed Lily Liu a lot—especially Warren Yuan and Jason Lin, whose eyes lit up at the mention of her name. But now, right at this crucial moment, they saw Lily getting slapped—by some Wuzhou thug, no less. Who wouldn’t be furious?
Seeing Ryan Ling charging in first, Warren Yuan, Jason Lin, and all the brothers followed right behind, every blade in their hands gleaming with fresh bloodlust.
"Boss, their people are here!" a lookout shouted immediately.
"So what if they are? What’s there to be afraid of? You think they dare lay a finger on me? I’m the brand-new boss of the Little Blades Gang!" A burly man with a green dragon tattoo across his back kept choking Lily Liu by the throat, looking like he was about to strangle her to death right in front of Ryan Ling.
“Damn right, what’s there to be scared of? This is Wuzhou, not some backwater Harbor City. The Qiu Clan boss gave the order—we’re supposed to rough them up before they even set foot in Wuzhou, make them all kneel when they come in!”
“That’s right—block them all, then shout out the Little Blades Gang name. I guarantee these country bumpkins who’ve never seen the real world will piss themselves!”
Two henchmen on either side let out cold, shrill laughs—they clearly weren’t the least bit intimidated by Ryan Ling and his crew.
Thanks to their attitude, the rest of the gang blocking the road got even more relaxed. One pock-marked guy saw Ryan Ling charging in and shouted, "Stop right there! Can't you see the Little Blades Gang sign? All of you, get on your knees and start licking my toes..."
After he finished, the rest of the roadblock crew burst out laughing, all giving him props for his cocky line.
But before they could finish laughing, Ryan Ling slapped the pock-marked thug with a lightning-fast blow—"BANG!"—and nobody knew how much force was packed in that slap, but half the guy's face was literally ripped off and he dropped to his knees with a thud.
In an instant, the pock-marked dude went from 'Meatface' to 'Bloodface'—and that bloody mess of a mug totally stunned every Little Blades Gang lackey present!
"Little Blades Gang? Little my ass! You touch my sister, you all die today—no survivors!" Ryan Ling was absolutely furious, not wasting a single word. He stared at the terrified pock-marked thug, then stomped down hard on his neck—blood sprayed everywhere, and the guy died instantly.
Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, Harvey "Million" Jin, and Frank Qin were already boiling with rage, each gripping a massive chopper. Now that the boss had made his move, they didn't give a damn about anything—just raised their blades and started hacking away. With a top-tier grandmaster ghost backing each of them, they were fearless; the roadblock punks were all cut down in seconds, not a single one left alive!
In a flash, the so-called Little Blades boss was left totally dumbstruck!
The two henchmen on either side were so scared, they started gushing nosebleeds!
Sure, these guys had hacked their way up from the streets and seen plenty of blood, but they'd never seen anyone go straight for the kill—mowing down a dozen people in less than a minute, and doing it so viciously it made their skin crawl and their hair stand on end.
"B-Boss, are these guys even human? Maybe we should bail!" The gang's 'strategist' looked like he'd seen a ghost, his face purple and feet edging backward.
"Retreat, retreat—these guys are seriously fucking nuts, they're not even human!" The Little Blades boss couldn't take it anymore; seeing Ryan Ling and his crew charging in, he tried to bolt, but Jason Lin, Warren Yuan, and the others already had them surrounded.
"Sis, are you okay? It's all my fault for being late!" Ryan Ling rushed to Lily Liu's side. She was so scared she couldn't even speak, just clung to Ryan and burst out crying.
"Oh, you two are siblings? Must be a misunderstanding, just a big misunderstanding!" The Little Blades boss quickly tried to play it off, waving his hands.
"Misunderstanding my ass! You came here for me, didn’t you? You think I’m an idiot? Listen up, scumbags—touch me all you want, but lay a finger on my family and there’s only one outcome: death!" Seeing Lily Liu’s swollen face, Ryan Ling showed no mercy.
In a scene like this, first—anyone who messes with Lily Liu deserves to die. Second—if you let yourself get bullied the moment you step onto Wuzhou turf and don’t show you’re willing to kill, nobody will respect you, and the trouble will only get worse later.
Besides, the most important thing—Ryan Ling came to Wuzhou this time to kill.
Wuzhou’s people had already set up a total dragnet, swearing to take his life and slaughter every Harbor City contestant—to stomp Harbor City into the dirt for good. Faced with that kind of threat, if Ryan didn’t show real killing intent, how could Harbor City ever hold its head up in front of the other cities?
At Ryan Ling’s order, the brothers didn’t hesitate for a second—especially Jason Lin, who’d spent his life licking blood off blades. He’d seen this kind of scene a hundred times; without a word, he swung his chopper straight at the Little Blades boss, who was so scared he nearly collapsed.

Just then, a bunch of uniformed guys popped out of the bushes, waving loudspeakers and yelling at Ryan Ling, Jason Lin, and the rest: "We’re the Wuzhou Security Squad! You maniacs have some nerve, attacking our people in broad daylight—totally out of control! Drop your blades, get down and put your hands on your heads, now!"
"Captain Leo Liu, thank god you’re here! These killers are totally out of control, causing trouble right on your turf, murdering people in public—they should be executed on the spot!" The Little Blades boss immediately relaxed when he saw them, glaring at Jason Lin: "You deaf, bastard? Didn’t you hear Captain Liu? Move that blade, now!"
Seeing the uniforms, Jason Lin and the other underworld types instinctively held back—every gangster knows you don’t mess with the cops.
He immediately looked to Ryan Ling—the team’s backbone. Whatever Ryan decided, they’d follow.
But Ryan Ling just gave a cold smile, turning to Captain Leo Liu: "So, you’re Captain Liu, huh?"
"Damn right, I am! You look like the ringleader—get on your knees, or I’ll shoot you right now, believe it or not!" Captain Liu snarled, whipping out his pistol.
Ryan Ling didn’t flinch. He said coldly, "Tell me, Captain Liu—where were you when my sister was being bullied and her stuff smashed? Now that my crew’s here and we’ve wiped the floor with the Little Blades Gang, suddenly you show up. Some captain you are! Is this how Wuzhou law protects its own thugs?"
"What did you say? Say that again, you bastard! I’m standing right here, and you still dare talk back? Think I’m just some pushover? This gun’s not for show…" Captain Liu was still ranting when Ryan Ling whipped out a chopper and, with one swift motion, sliced off Liu’s gun hand—right arm and all.
