Frenzied Battle on the Brink

1/5/2026

Right now, Ryan Ling was looking at this guy like he was literal trash—total contempt, not even worth a second glance. Seriously, this clown didn’t even qualify to face off against Ryan. Ryan hadn’t planned to throw hands so soon, but the dude was getting way too pushy.

Seeing Ryan Ling just standing there, not reacting at all, the guy got even cockier, screaming at the top of his lungs, "You little punk, you’ve got some serious guts, huh? Daring to look at me like that—are you begging to be chopped to pieces? Fine, you wanna die, I’ll make it happen!"

The great-perfection Ancestor Immortal didn’t hesitate for a second—he roared and unleashed a tidal wave of power straight at Ryan Ling. Ryan hadn’t even properly stepped onto the stage yet, just prepping below, but this guy was already going full send. Talk about arrogance—he didn’t see Ryan as anything but dog crap, like he could stomp him whenever he wanted!

A ton of eyes locked onto Ryan Ling right then. Everyone figured he was about to get wrecked for sure. But before anyone could blink, as the great-perfection Ancestor Immortal’s attack slammed toward him, Ryan just waved his hand—boom, every attack coming his way instantly dissolved, like it was nothing. Chill as hell, like he didn’t even care. The crowd was shook.

Now people were staring at Ryan Ling like, wait, this dude’s actually a monster. He’d just casually wiped out a top-tier attack, making him look like one of those hidden bosses you only see in tournaments. There are always some elite players pretending to be normies, scoping out the field before popping off—never mess with those guys, they’re almost always the real deal.

“Damn, this year’s King of a Hundred Cities Tournament is stacked! Who knew a mid-stage Ancestor Immortal could bust out that kind of power—just casually defusing a great-perfection Ancestor Immortal’s top move!” The crowd was hyped, everyone yelling like it was breaking news.

But even though Ryan Ling brushed it off like it was nothing, that just lit a fire under the great-perfection Ancestor Immortal. The guy’s pride was toast—no way he was letting that slide. He went berserk, howling his head off, each roar louder than the last.

“Damn it, damn it, I’m gonna skin you alive!” The great-perfection Ancestor Immortal couldn’t hold back anymore—he charged Ryan like a madman. Last time, it was just a power blast, but now he was all in, unleashing a tidal wave of force!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The guy unleashed a barrage of power, charging straight at Ryan Ling from above, hammering down like he was trying to crush him into the dirt. The whole scene was wild—total overkill, straight-up bullying!

Classic big guy bullying the little guy—totally over the top. The Ancestor Immortal was flexing hard, milking every ounce of that bully energy.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The whole arena around Ryan Ling erupted in wild explosions—so loud, the shockwaves sent top Ancestor Immortals flying and caved in the ground. Even the King of a Hundred Cities Tournament guardians locked their eyes on him. This was next-level!

“Dude’s a beast! He goes full send right from the start—no wonder everyone’s got their eyes on him. The guy he’s fighting barely has a name!” Some of the Ancestor Immortal’s buddies couldn’t help but cheer, their voices full of hype.

Of course, it wasn’t just his crew—everyone else nodded along. No way Ryan Ling could hold out now, especially since the great-perfection Ancestor Immortal had only used like thirty or forty percent of his power earlier. Sure, Ryan blocked it, but that’s hardly shocking for a top-tier. Now, with a full-power strike coming, Ryan’s mid-stage Ancestor Immortal strength was definitely not enough.

But just as everyone had written Ryan Ling off—and even the staff were prepping to clean up the mess—a flash of gold shot up from the stage. That power was off the charts. In a split second, the smug Ancestor Immortal who thought he had it in the bag got booted into the air, and before you could blink, he exploded, blood and flesh spraying everywhere. The whole world was covered in his guts—freaky and epic!

“No way—how the hell did Ryan pull that off?!” Eyes popped, jaws dropped. No one could believe Ryan Ling was packing that kind of heat.

Even the tournament guardians jumped in shock. Ryan Ling’s power was way beyond anything they’d imagined—total dark horse vibes. He was soaking up all the attention in the massive arena.

“This guy’s no joke, hiding his strength until now. Looks like we’ve got trouble brewing!” Tons of top-tier experts turned their focus to Ryan Ling—after he smoked that great-perfection Ancestor Immortal, he became the new big threat. Tournament rules are simple: whoever stands last wins, and kill count matters.

Up till now, none of the arena’s experts cared about Ancestor Immortal tier contestants—they were all gunning for the Four Heavenly Kings and Heaven-Earth Sect’s top monsters. Everyone else was just background noise. But now that Ryan Ling had shown up, he was enemy number one. No way they’d let some dark horse block their path to victory.

After Ryan Ling scored that win, he stopped hiding—straight up jumped onto the main stage. He knew if he didn’t show up, someone would force him on anyway, so screw it, he made the first move and welcomed all challengers.
