"Are you crazy?!" Melissa Mu stared at Evan Lin over there, eyes wide in shock.

She blurted it out, thinking that kid would definitely deny it.

But to her utter disbelief, he actually admitted it directly!

Is he not afraid of dying?

Not only that, he even called the Old Immortal Sage an old divine fraud right to his face!

At this moment, Melissa Mu looked at Evan Lin with a strange expression, even forgetting about how he’d just slapped her.

"Yes! It’s him!" Harvey Xie, stunned for a moment, urgently pointed at Evan Lin, afraid the Old Immortal Sage wouldn’t believe him.

"You killed my disciple, and now you dare to list my crimes? Brat, you’re way too arrogant!" The Old Immortal Sage swept his hand over the Wanhe Ancient Jade, and instantly, the jade burst forth with a brilliant black glow.

The ugly ghost entangling Fire Elder bit him, lifted him up, and flung him aside. With that one bite, it even devoured a good chunk of the flames that had been swirling around Fire Elder.

Fire Elder, gripped by the evil ghost, crashed to the side, spat out a mouthful of blood, and stared in pain at the scene, unable to accept what was happening.

He’d wielded fire for years, and fire had always been something ghosts feared—but facing this ghost, he suddenly felt powerless.

At last, the ugly ghost spun in midair, its gaze locked fiercely on Evan Lin below.

Evan Lin’s expression was calm, black hair flying in the wind, his attitude utterly indifferent.

"So you’ve made up your mind to fight me to the death?"

Evan Lin shook his head slightly, his voice steady.

"If you hadn’t stepped into this yard just now, maybe I’d have spared your life. But since you entered my array and spouted nonsense, you brought this on yourself! Even now, do you really think I’d let you go?" The Old Immortal Sage stepped to the door, staring coldly at Evan Lin. "And don’t worry—in this formation, your soul won’t scatter. At most, your flesh will be devoured, and your spirit will be trapped here forever, suffering a hundred lifetimes of torment!"

"And I’ll use your corpse to light a heavenly lamp, to comfort my poor disciple!"

The Old Immortal Sage roared, "Kill him!"

As soon as he spoke, the evil ghost in midair instantly charged at Evan Lin.

It moved like the wind—reaching him in a flash.

Evan Lin stepped forward, crushing the tombstone beneath his foot into powder.

With that stomp, golden light erupted across the entire ground!

Countless dazzling golden swastika-seals shot up from the earth, and in an instant, every tombstone was shattered into dust by their force.

Each glowing swastika character floated upward, and the evil ghost in midair looked terrified, scrambling to escape higher into the sky.

"What is this?!" Fire Elder’s eyes widened at the sight of those swastika patterns; every tiny golden rune radiated boundless righteous qi, just a glance filling him with awe.

"Immortal arts—truly immortal arts!"

Uncle Victor Li stared blankly at the scene before him.

Melissa Mu stood there in a daze, staring at the youth not far away!

The youth stood with hands behind his back, black hair flying, profile sharp as a blade, his expression cool and distant—there wasn’t a trace of ordinary aura about him.

He tilted his head slightly, golden swastika mantras swirling around him, while the evil ghost hid in a patch of black clouds above, looking even fiercer and more menacing.

"With one kick... you broke my entire formation!"

The Old Immortal Sage spat out a mouthful of blood, staring in disbelief at the youth before him.

He’d spent countless years building this array; this little yard was a completely isolated space cut off from the outside world.

Every tombstone buried in the soil was a node of the formation, packed with vicious yin energy—no ordinary person could ever break it!

But this youth shattered every node with a single kick!

"Such a trash formation—broken with one step, not even worth mentioning."

Evan Lin sneered, glancing at the evil ghost hiding in the clouds, his voice cold: "A mere low-grade spirit dares to show off in front of me?"

"Go. Enjoy your meal."

As soon as Evan finished speaking, the three Maiden Spirits burst out of his backpack, unable to wait any longer.

In everyone’s eyes, the three stunning female ghosts, faces flushed with excitement, shot up into the sky and started battling the evil ghost above.

The three Maiden Spirits tore into the evil ghost without mercy, biting and ripping away its ghost-qi chunk by chunk. The ghost that had just shrugged off Fire Elder’s flames now screamed in terror, trying to fight back, but it couldn’t break free as its ghost-qi was devoured.

"How dare you!"

Seeing this, the Old Immortal Sage erupted in fury.

That evil ghost was a spirit he’d raised for years, feeding on the incense and luck of those who came to pray and seek fortune—only then had it grown so strong.

Normally, paired with his formation, it was invincible. But today, not only was the array destroyed, even the ghost was about to be devoured by those three Maiden Spirits!

"Why wouldn’t I dare?" Evan Lin shook his head. "Like I said, if you’d knelt and begged for mercy from the start instead of getting greedy, maybe I’d have spared you."

"But now, you’re just reaping what you sowed. This so-called Old Immortal Sage is just a half-dead corpse clinging to incense offerings."

Evan Lin let out a cold laugh.

The Old Immortal Sage’s rage boiled over; his pupils turned from dark red to blood red, and his body suddenly swelled in size.

With every step he took forward, his aura multiplied exponentially.

The Wanhe Ancient Jade erupted with black radiance, filling the air with murderous intent!

"Brat! Even if it costs me my life today, I’ll kill you as a sacrifice to my ancestor!" The Old Immortal Sage’s voice was chilling.

"Ancestor? The one you’re talking about isn’t coming back. There’s someone just like you worshipping her on Thornridge Mountain, waiting for her too—but you’re both just abandoned pawns." Evan Lin sneered coldly.

"Nonsense! My ancestor will return! She said she’d come for me!" The Old Immortal Sage howled, silver hair flying, face twisted like a vengeful ghost.

"Then I’ll just send you to meet your ancestor myself."

Evan Lin raised his hand slightly.

The next second, wild winds surged, and massive rain clouds swept in from the horizon, gathering overhead in the blink of an eye!
