Little Fish Looks Delicious I Want to Eat Her Too

"Ah! Run!"

The five of them scattered like startled birds, fleeing in a panic.

The Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast bit down on the cloud, ending up with a mouthful of melon seed husks.

"Ptooey! Ptooey!" It suddenly transformed into a black-clad young man, spitting out the melon seed husks for ages.

"What the heck was that!" He glanced at the group running off in all directions, but didn't bother chasing them and prepared to head back.

As soon as he turned around, he saw Lily Bai smiling at him.

"What do you want?" The black-clad youth stared at her warily, eyes wide.

Lily Bai flashed him a sweet, enchanting smile.

The youth blushed, just about to speak, when the Demon-Binding Net—made of invisible essence—suddenly snared him, trapping him inside.

"Aargh!" The Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast instantly reverted to its true form, struggling desperately.

But the more it struggled, the tighter the Demon-Binding Net squeezed.

The Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast was no pushover, though.

Suddenly, flames erupted all around its body.

It tried to burn the Demon-Binding Net to ashes.

But this was a priceless treasure from Lily Bai's master, Immortal Faustin—immune to both water and fire.

After ages of burning, still no luck. Suddenly, the scales on its body all stood up, transforming into razor-sharp blades.

As it rolled, those blades sliced at the net's threads.

Lily Bai's eyes narrowed sharply.

Wow, those scales on the Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast were seriously sharp!

Even from a distance, she could feel the threatening edge radiating off them.

If this keeps up, it'll probably slice right through the net and escape.

If it gets away now, it'll be a nightmare to lure it out again...

Lily Bai decisively summoned Entwined Heart and started playing.

Birds, beasts, and insects scattered across Crimson South Mountain.

Anyone who was a little too slow ended up coughing blood and dropping dead!

Even the five demon beasts who'd just fled heard the flute and bolted even farther away.

Especially the low-level Peacock Spirit—she didn’t dare come near again.

The Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast, hit by the melody of Entwined Heart, clamped its paws over its ears, morphing back and forth between human and beast, writhing in agony, and completely forgetting about the Demon-Binding Net.

Lily Bai focused all her attention on it, playing relentlessly until the beast finally stopped moving, blood trickling slowly from its mouth.

Judging it was about done, Lily stopped playing and said to the Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast, "I only want your wood-element core—I won’t take your life! Give it to me, and I’ll let you go."

The Five-Element Earth-Soul Beast shifted back into the form of the black-clad youth, face pale, hair wild, staring daggers at her... Then, with a cold laugh, he said, "Why don't you turn around and look?"

Lily Bai felt something was off. She turned—and nearly dropped her flute in shock.

A gigantic head was silently floating right behind her.

Moonlit Flood-Dragon!

Its whole body was snowy white, even bigger than she'd imagined—just one eyeball was wider than her entire height...

How did it get out here?!

Lily Bai instantly turned invisible and tried to escape with Swiftstride.

But terrifyingly, she couldn't get away.

Before she could even cast Swiftstride, the Moonlit Flood-Dragon had already coiled its massive body tightly around her.

It opened its huge mouth and lunged to bite her.

...

"Hahaha! My hundred talismans are as good as mine!" Mirage burst out laughing from afar.

Purple Fox, also a woman, shook her head and sighed, "This Lily Bai... Supposedly a once-in-a-millennium Rune Master genius, and now she's just going to get eaten. What a pity."

Blood-Eye, the python spirit, licked his lips. "She looks delicious. I want to eat her too."

Boomer the Thunder Leopard, who knew him well, joked, "Do you want to eat her, or do her? You're a horny python, after all."

"Both! First do her, then eat her. Hahaha..."

They all laughed, watching Lily Bai about to be eaten.

But for some reason, the terrifyingly huge Moonlit Flood-Dragon didn’t bite down right away—instead, it kept shrinking smaller and smaller.
