Thanks to Mandy Chu's guidance, the group arrived at Venom Canyon in less than a month.
Just as Mandy Chu had described, they were still a long way from Venom Canyon, yet the massive black vortex in its center was clearly visible. Even the ground around the vortex was swept clean, as if everything had been sucked inside.
As the group stopped, Joe Di's divine sense had already swept into the black vortex. Instantly, the powerful aura of laws surged forth, shredding his divine sense to pieces.
"Fellow Daoist Di, you can't extend your divine sense into this place. If you do, the black vortex will immediately tear it away," Leonard Brown warned Joe Di as his own divine sense was swallowed by the vortex.
Joe Di nodded, but still pressed his divine sense forward.
He was different from the others. While their divine senses were devoured or torn apart, he could construct his own fundamental laws within the black vortex, and then build his own world rules atop them. Before his Dao Integration, this would have been impossible, but now Joe Di could do it with ease.
Thus, although Joe Di's divine sense was initially swallowed by the black vortex, it gradually became clearer and extended deeper within.
But soon, Joe Di withdrew his divine sense, his complexion turning pale.
Within that black vortex, he sensed an immense vastness and emptiness. Beyond this, there seemed to be a calling—a call for Third Step cultivators. Any Third Step expert entering would be completely devoured, as if to replenish something within.
It was definitely a new domain, and its level far surpassed any realm he knew. Such a supreme domain should be the dream of all Dao Integration cultivators, yet Joe Di only felt suffocation and cold.
