Standing Forth of His Own Accord

2/27/2026

This was a duel of flames against flames. Both sides burned fiercely, and now it was just a matter of who would defeat the other first.

Hearing this, Terry Yang paused. The badly wounded Sara Sang glared at Yang Han. "What do you know? Get lost!"

Not far away, Wind Ghost Linus Fenn snickered, "As long as Brother Yang transforms, she’s finished."

Terry Yang was desperate to find out Yang Han’s whereabouts, so after the match began, his body changed—his skin turned fiery red and his strength soared, forcing Sara Sang to dodge frantically. Watching this, Yang Han thought, "So even partial Flameblood can trigger transformation?"

"I don’t know any Miss Sara. You’ve got the wrong person. Let’s continue," Sara Sang said coldly, wounded, and looked at Terry Yang.

Terry Yang was the type to err on the side of caution. Hearing Yang Han’s words and seeing his familiarity with the girl, he said, "You really know where Yang Han is?"

Terry Yang was shocked. What was going on? He’d clearly forced Sara Sang to the brink.

Driven back by Sara Sang’s flames, Terry Yang refused to give in. His eyes turned fiery red, and his body transformed again—this time turning black. His strength rose even higher, and his attacks became fiercer. Sara Sang was clearly outmatched.

"Looks like I need to step it up," Yang Han muttered. He boosted Sara Sang’s flames again, quickly turning the tide. Soon Terry Yang was cornered, and Sara Sang asked, "Ready to admit defeat?"

But Sara Sang wasn’t someone to be taken down easily. Before being captured, she fought Terry Yang to the bitter end. Finally, battered and bruised, she looked at Yang Han. "Why are you doing this?"

"Everyone knows my title—the Demon Witch!" Sara Sang declared.

"So what? Watch this!" Terry Yang snorted coldly. Flames erupted all around, suddenly appearing from every direction around Sara Sang. She was startled and quickly reinforced her defenses.

"Stop spacing out. Let’s go. Your life is still valuable," Terry Yang said to Sara Sang.

"Ha! You thought you really beat me? Getting so close was your fatal mistake. So? Pretty impressive move, right?" Seeing the wounded Sara Sang, Terry Yang laughed.

Linus nodded, then walked over to the injured Sara Sang. He knew she wouldn’t get far, so Terry Yang told him to keep an eye on her. Then Terry Yang said to Yang Han, "Let’s go."

"Despicable? There’s no such thing as ‘despicable’ in the arena," Terry Yang replied.

With that, Yang Han led the way. Sara Sang stayed silent, and Terry Yang and Linus kept questioning Yang Han about how he knew Yang Han’s whereabouts. Yang Han replied that he’d seen it at the same time as Sara Sang, but Sara Sang remained silent.

"Not talking? Hmph, then this is your death sentence!" Terry Yang snorted coldly.

"What else can I do? It’s my own promise," Sara Sang replied. She ignored Yang Han and looked at Terry Yang. "Don’t mind him. Let’s continue."

Terry Yang ignored Yang Han and looked at Sara Sang. "So stubborn. I don’t believe you won’t talk!"

Yang Han knew the only way was to make Terry Yang stop. He suddenly smiled and said, "I know where Yang Han is. Stop the match and I’ll tell you."

"Who are you?" Terry Yang asked.

"Can I take her place in the fight?" Yang Han said.

"Take her place?" Terry Yang frowned.

"Isn’t that allowed? Or do I need to challenge you first, and only after you accept can we duel?" Yang Han asked.

"You think this is a marketplace where you can buy whatever you want?" Terry Yang snorted.

"If you won’t let me, then I’ll have to interfere," Yang Han said.

"Ridiculous! You want to interfere? Do you know where you are? The Demon Arena!" Terry Yang said.

"What are the rules? Is it forbidden to interfere?" Yang Han asked.

"Let the referee over there explain it to you!" Terry Yang said.

The referee walked over and looked at Yang Han. "Are you trying to break the rules?"

"I’m not breaking the rules. I just want to challenge him," Yang Han said.

"A challenge? There’s still an order to things," the referee said.

"Then is there any way for me to fight him right now? Just say it straight," Yang Han asked.

The referee glanced at Yang Han, then at Terry Yang, and said, "There’s no way."

"No way? What if I force my way in?" Yang Han said, then walked up to the barrier and called out to Sara Sang, "Come out."

"I’m not leaving," Sara Sang insisted stubbornly. She didn’t know who this man was, but she was glad someone wanted to help her. Still, she refused to leave.

"You’re really that stubborn? Are you just going to die in front of him?" Yang Han asked.

"What else can I do? It’s my own promise," Sara Sang replied. She ignored Yang Han and looked at Yang Tian. "Don’t mind him. Let’s continue."

Terry Yang ignored Yang Han and looked at Sara Sang. "So stubborn. I don’t believe you won’t talk!"

Yang Han knew the only way was to make Yang Tian stop. He suddenly smiled and said, "I know where Yang Han is. Stop the match and I’ll tell you."

Hearing this, Yang Tian paused. The badly wounded Sara Sang glared at Yang Han. "What do you know? Get lost!"

"Miss Sara, is this really necessary?" Yang Han said.

Sara Sang’s real name was only known by her master, her aunt, and one other person. Now this man had called her by name—plus, knowing Yang Han’s disguise skills, she was shocked. She realized Yang Han was right here, and that the one who had just intervened was actually him. Not only that, he was now making himself the bait.

"I don’t know any Miss Sara. You’ve got the wrong person. Let’s continue," Sara Sang said coldly, wounded, and looked at Yang Tian.

Yang Tian was the type to err on the side of caution. Hearing Yang Han’s words and seeing his familiarity with the girl, he said, "You really know where Yang Han is?"

"That’s right. As long as you let her go, I’ll take you to him," Yang Han said.

"Fine, you’re straightforward enough. I’ll spare her life, but if I don’t find who I want, don’t blame me for what happens next." Terry Yang said, then moved forward to subdue Sara Sang.

But Sara Sang wasn’t someone to be taken down easily. Before being captured, she fought Yang Tian to the bitter end. Finally, battered and bruised, she looked at Yang Han. "Why are you doing this?"

"This has to be settled eventually. Besides, Yang Han’s business has nothing to do with you anymore. You don’t need to get involved—it won’t do you any good," Yang Han sighed to the seriously wounded Sara Sang.

Sara Sang fell silent. She realized Yang Han was just trying to help her escape safely. Thinking of her earlier tantrum, she felt it was ridiculous—if not for herself, she wouldn’t be so badly injured, nor would Yang Han have to step in to help.

"Stop spacing out. Let’s go. Your life is still valuable," Terry Yang said to Sara Sang.

Dragging her battered body, Sara Sang stepped outside. Terry Yang signaled to Wind Ghost Linus Fenn, "Come on, let’s go together."

Linus nodded, then walked over to the injured Sara Sang. He knew she wouldn’t get far, so Terry Yang told him to keep an eye on her. Then Terry Yang said to Yang Han, "Let’s go."

Yang Han smiled. "Alright."

With that, Yang Han led the way. Sara Sang stayed silent, and Yang Tian and Linus kept questioning Yang Han about how he knew Yang Han’s whereabouts. Yang Han replied that he’d seen it at the same time as Sara Sang, but Sara Sang remained silent.

They flew across several planets and finally arrived at a deserted one. Yang Han said, "Up ahead—he’s right up ahead. You can go over there now."

"Up ahead? Where?" Terry Yang asked.

"That person standing on the mountain—isn’t that Yang Han?" Yang Han pointed to a peak, where his clone was already waiting, prepared in advance.

Seeing Yang Han, Terry Yang and Wind Ghost Linus Fenn erupted in fury, ignoring both Yang Han and Sara Sang as they charged up the mountain.

"Who’s that?" Sara Sang asked Yang Han.

"Just a clone. So, what will you do now?" Yang Han frowned at the badly injured Sara Sang.

"It’s fine. So, are we leaving now?" Sara Sang asked, enduring the pain.

"Yeah, but before we go, we should teach those two a lesson. Let them know that just because they’ve got backing in the Devil Realm, doesn’t mean they’re anything special," Yang Han said with a grin.

"You? What are you planning?" Sara Sang asked curiously.

"Nothing much. Let me heal you first. My clone will have some fun with them." Yang Han smiled, sending a chill of Heavenly Cold energy into Sara Sang, slowly restoring her battered body.

Terry Yang and Linus had already arrived behind Yang Han. His clone smiled at them. "You got here pretty fast."

"Damn it, kid, we finally found you!" Terry Yang shouted angrily.

"So what? Now that you’ve found me, you’re planning to attack?" Yang Han smiled.

"It’s you! You kept us from returning to the Immortal Realm, left us homeless. All of this is your doing!" Terry Yang shouted.

"If you hadn’t tried to frame me back then, none of this would have happened. If you hadn’t teamed up with those demon lords, things wouldn’t be like this. So really, you brought this all on yourselves," Yang Han replied.

"Enough, Yang, don’t waste words with him. Let’s show him what we can do," Linus said.

"Alright, Yang Han, watch closely. We’ll show you what happens when you cross us," Terry Yang snorted, and he and Linus unleashed their full power against Yang Han.

Yang Han’s clone fought the two for a moment, then collapsed, badly wounded. Seeing Yang Han fall so easily, Linus burst out laughing. "Ha! The so-called number one genius of the Four Great Families—look at you now!"

"I thought you’d be impressive as number one, but you’re nothing special. Today, I’ll kill you, and Yang Han will be mine!" Terry Yang laughed.

Yang Han’s clone smiled. "You two really are full of yourselves."

"What, you think you can turn things around? With your injuries, you couldn’t beat even one of us, let alone both," Terry Yang sneered.

"Is that so? You’re seriously underestimating me." Just then, the same voice sounded behind them.

The two were shocked—when had Yang Han gotten behind them? Seeing a perfectly unharmed Yang Han appear, their faces showed nothing but surprise.
