"What is the Asura Realm really like?"
I asked, and John Chou shook his head.
"Only Mr. Brown knows that, and Tan Tian must be anxious now. I don't know what he's worried about, but he's probably trying to find a way out of the Asura Realm."
"Tan Tian's power shouldn't make it hard to break out of the Asura Realm, so why is he still trapped?"
Redmond asked gravely, and John Chou chuckled as he replied.
"The Six Paths of Reincarnation were established after the new Hell was formed. The cycle, blessed by gods and buddhas, was built and maintained, but neither gods nor rulers of Hell control it—it's nature itself. So the Six Paths of Reincarnation allow no disturbances. Because of certain things I've done, the absolute suppression of Divine Law holds me down. Although my Bloodbane Power still affects the Sanzu Force, it's mostly suppressed by Divine Law."
"What are you really after...?"
Mona Ouyang had just finished speaking when John Chou interrupted her and continued.
Hell, Hungry Ghosts, and Animals make up the Three Evil Paths, while Heaven and Humans are the good paths. The Asura Path is a mix of good and bad. After the Six Paths of Reincarnation were established, the strongest was Divine Law, an untouchable force that enforces its rules and keeps the Six Paths of Reincarnation running smoothly.
Tan Tian still can't escape the Asura Path because of Divine Law's restriction. Without permission from the Saint of the Underworld, he can't leave—it's like an impenetrable barrier, and without the key, you can't get out of the locked gate.
"So that's it. Looks like the Saint of the Underworld meddled with things, huh."
Redmond said, while John Chou looked at me gravely.
"Brother, remember this: inside the Asura Path, never fight with anything, no matter what happens. If you do, you'll easily fall into the Asura Path, and then getting out will be nearly impossible."
"Tan Tian's power shouldn't make it hard to break out of the Asura Realm, so why is he still trapped?"
John Chou shook his head and told me it was something Mr. Brown had mentioned to him years ago.
Then John Chou told me that Mr. Brown's handiwork was in District Thirteen, in a rocky area on the outskirts. He described the spot and everything nearby, telling me to search carefully.
I left the Moonshadow Refuge and returned to the shop. Howard Zhang and Earthly Soul were still waiting for me.
"Any news from Ethan Zhang?"
I nodded and looked around.
"Sorry, Howard Zhang, Earthly Soul, I can't talk about this for now. I need to go somewhere, so I'm counting on you, Howard Zhang, Earthly Soul."
