Though Emperor Adrian Yao claimed not to force Immortal Lord Lin, he desperately hoped Lin would cooperate. This experiment required the subject's consent, so he stood there patiently explaining.

After hearing this, Immortal Lord Lin's heart surged with intense desire. He truly didn't want to live in despair, nor be bullied, and most of all, he couldn't accept being crippled by Evan Yang.

Leaving the castle, Emperor Yao chuckled to himself, "Hopefully the fusion succeeds. Then I can build a powerful army, and the Immortal Realm will no longer be like this."

Evan Yang had no idea what these people were doing. Meanwhile, he flew onward, stopping only in a deserted area, then released Hannah Nangong and the other two.

"Is this the place?" Hannah Nangong asked, looking at the empty void around them.

"That's right. This is where the Shard Bugs gather," Evan Yang replied.

"Too bad, I don't know exactly where it is," Hannah Nangong sighed.

"It's fine, I'll look around. Do you want to follow me, or go into the Sky-Piercing Tower?" Evan Yang asked.

"We want to see for ourselves, and grow stronger too. We can't always rely on you to protect us," Hannah Nangong said.

Evan Yang nodded. There wasn't much danger here; if anything happened, he could quickly put them away in the Sky-Piercing Tower.

With preparations made, Evan Yang led the three women to search for the place Hannah Nangong mentioned.

They drifted through the void for a long time, encountering many Shard Bugs and swarms. These were easily wiped out by Hannah, Lora, and Sharla.

Evan Yang also released many Phantom Spirit Birds. After several years, he finally found a few abnormal spots and led everyone to investigate each one, spending quite some time.

After much time, they finally reached their destination: a place resembling a spatial crack, wide and surrounded by many Shard Bugs.
