Attacked One After Another

Yue Gui said, "I'm furious. That brat destroyed my physical body."

"What? Are you saying that Immortal Sovereign destroyed your physical body?" The Hell Palace Lord was shocked. Yue Gui replied, "Yes, now only my soul remains."

"What about your Night Squad? You all couldn't take him down?" The Hell Palace Lord was clearly shaken. After Yue Gui explained the details, the Hell Palace Lord said, "It seems if we don't get rid of this guy, he'll become endless trouble."

"I've already lost the ability to capture him. Hell Palace Lord, you'll have to find another way." Yue Gui was helpless. After pondering, the Hell Palace Lord said, "Understood. Go back and rebuild your body first."

Yue Gui left helplessly, while the Hell Palace Lord was now considering how to deal with Evan Yang.

"What do you think?" the Hell Palace Lord asked the Vice Hell Palace Lord beside him.

The Vice Palace Lord said, "The people of Heavenly Mansion definitely won't sit back and do nothing about this. Since that's the case, let's activate the Heaven-Breaker Plan ahead of schedule."

"Once the Heaven-Breaker Plan is activated, it means all-out war between Heavenly Mansion and Hell Palace," the Hell Palace Lord said.

"Start it. If we let Heavenly Mansion retaliate, it'll be a huge problem," the Vice Hell Palace Lord said.

The Hell Palace Lord said, "Alright, let's begin."

Inside Heavenly Mansion, Evan Yang and Tony Tong were meeting with the Heavenly Mansion Lord. From the other side of the vortex, the Lord said, "I already know everything that's happened."

"Heavenly Mansion Lord, are we really going to keep letting Hell Palace do this? Why not just go to war directly?" Tony Tong said.

A voice came from inside, "If war breaks out, the consequences will be unimaginable. Heavenly Mansion and Hell Palace each pull in many Heavenly Dao experts."

"But if things keep going like this, our Heavenly Mansion people will be infiltrated by Hell Palace. If that happens, then—" Tony was worried; there had already been several cases of Hell Palace agents inside Heavenly Mansion.

"I'm aware of that. There are also Heavenly Mansion agents inside Hell Palace. But I've just received news—they're about to make a move against us. Here is a list. Quietly detain everyone on it. Don't let anyone else know." With that, a list was sent out from inside.

Seeing the list, Tony Tong was shocked. "Calvin Cao is on it too?"

"Calvin Cao is actually the biggest Hell Palace handler in Heavenly Mansion. He's been secretly colluding with Hell Palace for years, coveting my position as Heavenly Mansion Lord. I pretended not to notice, investigated for years, and, combined with reports from our agents in Hell Palace, compiled this list. Go handle it," the Heavenly Mansion Lord said.

Taking action against Calvin Cao was hard for Tony Tong, but he had no choice. He left with Evan Yang. Downstairs, Tony said to Evan, "There's a list I have to deal with. You stay with Brandon and the others just in case."

"Be careful, senior," Evan Yang said. Then Evan returned to Brandon White's group.

When the others saw Evan return, Brandon asked curiously, "How did it go?"

"Cleansing people," Evan said simply.

"Cleansing?" Brandon asked suspiciously. Evan nodded. Soon, news spread that many people in Heavenly Mansion had been quietly detained. Brandon frowned, "What's going on?"

"These should all be Hell Palace agents planted in Heavenly Mansion," Evan said.

Brandon gave a simple "Oh," but when he heard Calvin Cao was detained too, he couldn't believe it. "Calvin? How could that be?"

"That's right. He's the main Hell Palace handler inside Heavenly Mansion," Evan said.

Brandon and the others were all stunned. But before long, chaos erupted outside—shouting, fighting, and disorder.

"Could it be that we've been discovered?" Evan Yang wondered. He and the others went outside and saw many Hell Palace people appearing. Tony Tong flashed to Evan's side and said, "This is bad. Hell Palace has gone crazy—they suddenly sent a ton of people to attack Heavenly Mansion."

"What about Heavenly Mansion's defenders?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Some are detained, and others are worried they'll be implicated, so there are very few usable people," Tony Tong said.

Just as Evan was about to speak, two figures flew out in the sky—one tall, one short. Evan asked curiously, "Who are they?"

"That's the Hell Palace Lord and Vice Hell Palace Lord," Tony Tong said.

Evan muttered, "Looks like they're really going all out to attack us now."

At this moment, the Hell Palace Lord in the sky looked down, spotted Evan Yang, and laughed, "So you're the Immortal Sovereign?"

"That's right," Evan Yang replied.

"Today is the day you die," the Hell Palace Lord snorted coldly, then reached out toward Evan Yang. Everyone instantly realized Hell Palace was here for Evan Yang.

Evan instantly felt the attack was massive—the strongest he'd ever faced. Brocade was shocked and wanted to intervene, but then a new figure appeared in the sky, intercepting the blow. With a flash, he wielded a fan and clashed with the Hell Palace Lord for several rounds before retreating to Evan's side.

"Heavenly Mansion Lord," Tony Tong greeted respectfully.

It was the Heavenly Mansion Lord. He nodded, then looked at Evan and said, "Nice to meet you for the first time. I'm the Mansion Lord; everyone calls me Ethan Ya."

Evan hadn't expected the one who blocked the Hell Palace Lord to be the Mansion Lord himself, and that he would introduce himself. Evan smiled, "Thank you, Lord Ethan."

"No need to thank me. Since you're part of Heavenly Mansion, I'll fight with full strength to drive these people away," Ethan Ya said with a smile.

At this moment, the Hell Palace Lord laughed loudly, "Ethan Ya, you actually came out as well."

"Ghost Songzi, why aren't you staying in your Hell Palace? What are you doing here?" Ethan Ya smiled.

"You know why. With someone like him in Heavenly Mansion, how can I rest easy? Too bad he won't submit to me, so I had to come personally." Ghost Songzi laughed.

"Just for that? You're that scared?" Ethan Ya sneered.

Ghost Songzi smiled, "Look at your Heavenly Mansion. Today, I'll wipe it out along with you."

"Is that so? If you think you can wipe out Heavenly Mansion, you're dreaming. None of you are leaving today. And just so you know, Hell Palace is probably in worse shape than here right now," Ethan Ya said with a cold smile.

"You made a move against Hell Palace?" Ghost Songzi asked suspiciously.

"You can attack Heavenly Mansion, but I can't strike Hell Palace? Besides, with both of you here, I wonder who in Hell Palace can stop Logan Chong." Ethan Ya smiled.

"Logan Chong? Heavenly Mansion's number one expert? Isn't he here?" Ghost Songzi frowned, looking around, but didn't see his people and grew suspicious.

"You're overthinking it. He left before you made your move," Ethan Ya said.

"Damn it, but today I'll kill him before I leave," Ghost Songzi snorted coldly. He tried to attack Evan, but Ethan Ya kept him occupied, while the Vice Hell Palace Lord tried to deal with Evan, only to be trapped by Evan and Brocade.

Brandon and the others watched from the side, ready to react. The Vice Hell Palace Lord said to Evan, "If you submit to us, you can avoid death today."

"You really think you can take me? Let me tell you—I'm sending you on your way first." With that, Evan and Brocade coordinated perfectly, one underground, one above. Since the Vice Lord wasn't as strong, they quickly subdued him.

The Vice Hell Palace Lord was shocked. "You two—"

"I told you, I'm sending you on your way." With that, Evan destroyed the Vice Lord's physical body and even sealed his soul. The Vice Lord cried out, "Soul-Devouring Divine Sword!"

"Good eye. To be sealed by it is your honor," Evan said with a smile. He sealed the Vice Lord, then looked up at the Hell Palace Lord in the sky. "Ghost Songzi, right? Your Vice Lord is dead. You should surrender too."

Ghost Songzi stared at Evan in shock. "Bastard!"

"Ghost Songzi, your opponent is me," Ethan Ya said with a smile.

"You... damn it. Today, I'm leaving—let's see how you stop me!" Ghost Songzi shouted, disappearing from the spot. But before he left, Evan ambushed him with the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword.

Before leaving, Ghost Songzi glared at Evan. "Just wait—someday I'll kill you."

With the Hell Palace leader gone, the remaining attackers lost direction and were quickly dealt with. Tony Tong hadn't expected the crisis to be resolved so fast. As Ethan Ya was about to have everyone clean up, another group arrived outside Heavenly Mansion.

"Even they're here to stir up trouble? Do they really think we're easy targets?" Ethan Ya snorted coldly after seeing the situation outside.

Outside, a group of bandits had come specifically for Evan. Hearing about the battle between Heavenly Mansion and Hell Palace, they decided to join the chaos.

The bandit chief called up to Ethan Ya, "Mansion Lord, just hand Evan over to me."

"What do you want him for?" Ethan Ya snorted coldly.

"Just hand him over," the bandit chief said.

"And if I say no?" Ethan Ya smiled.

"Then we'll join the fun. Brothers, attack!" the bandit chief shouted. There were more bandits than expected. Evan frowned and said to Ethan Ya, "Lord, leave this to me. They're here for me anyway."

"No, you can't handle them alone," Ethan Ya said.

Evan smiled, "Don't worry. How will we know if I don't try?"

Ethan Ya hesitated—he knew Evan wasn't strong enough to face them alone, and Brocade knew it too, but neither understood why Evan wanted to go solo.

Evan walked over to Brocade and said, "Brocade, your job is to strike quickly and kill their leader. Can you do it?"

"I'll try, but I'm not confident. He seems strong," Brocade replied.

Hearing this, Evan confirmed his suspicion—the bandit chief was indeed strong, likely no weaker than Ethan Ya. But Evan knew the threat had to be dealt with, or Heavenly Mansion couldn't withstand so many attacks.

"Boss, alright, I won't let you down," Brocade said.

Evan nodded, "Just do your best."
