Five-Fruits Temple

Thirty-Three Heavens.

Beneath the shade of green trees, Clara Heart strode forward in a storm of righteous anger, with Yvonne Rain hurrying anxiously after her in short, quick steps.

"Aunt Clara, you really can't blame me for this. You know how terrifying Uncle Samson's temper is—when he truly gets angry, he even smashed South Heaven Gate and killed the Jade Emperor once! If I let you down and he saw it, it wouldn't just be a night hanging from a tree. I swear I didn't mean to keep you up there, Aunt Clara."

Clara Heart halted, turned, and shot Yvonne a cold glance. "Go follow that monkey. Stop following me."

"Aunt Clara..."

"He's your Uncle Samson now, not me."

With that, Clara strode off again, her face dark.

Yvonne hesitated for a moment, then quickened her pace to catch up, softly urging, "Aunt-Master, Senior Uncle Wukong really isn't someone to provoke. Even Master Taiyi couldn't handle him and had to ask the Everlasting Sage for help. Don't believe all that talk about 'dealing with him'—back then, before Senior Uncle Wukong even reached Heavenly Dao level, Master Taiyi himself was beaten to a pulp. If not for Lord Genesis and Master Tongtian rescuing him, he'd have been wiped out completely."

"So I'm just supposed to swallow this humiliation? Is there really no one in all the realms who can bring him to heel?"

"There is."

"Who?" Clara stopped immediately, turning to look at Yvonne.

Blinking, Yvonne answered nervously, "Lord Buddha."

"That's no answer at all. Do you really expect me to go find Lord Buddha? Try again."

"There's one more. Only the Third Saintess remains."

"The Third Saintess?" Clara frowned.

"Yes, go to the Third Saintess," Yvonne nodded. "Senior Uncle Wukong never dares talk back or lift a hand against her. Aunt-Master could try... try going to Mount Hua and seeking out the Third Saintess. She's been imprisoned under Mount Hua by General Erlang for over six centuries now. Maybe she'd be willing to stand up for you."

At this, Clara's gaze turned cold. She muttered, "Going to his wife to vent my anger for me—isn't that humiliating?"

With that, she turned away and strode off again, Yvonne forced to follow.

Every Tusita Palace boy they encountered along the way, seeing Clara's mood, wished they could avoid her. Those who couldn't simply stood aside and saluted in silence.

Strictly speaking, each Tusita Palace boy was Clara's senior brother, but the gap between inner disciples (those personally trained by the master) and outer disciples was vast—and with Lord Lao's indulgence, Clara's temper was legendary. Whenever she was angry, all her 'senior brothers' could do was hide.

[Note: In Daoist sects, 'inner disciples' receive direct personal instruction and hold higher status than 'outer disciples,' who are taught in groups. Sect kinship titles follow the pattern 'Uncle + first name' (for males) or 'Aunt + first name' (for females), e.g., 'Uncle Samson' for Monkey, 'Aunt Clara' for Clara Heart.]
