Early the next morning, Mark Hunter led the group to fetch the bride. Lily Evans helped dress Cynthia Wu beautifully, sending her off in style.

Mark Hunter was generous and spared no expense for Cynthia Wu, making the wedding as lively and grand as possible. The villagers couldn't help but envy them.

"Lily!" The moment Lucky spotted Lily Evans, he dashed over eagerly. "Lily, I missed you so much last night, I couldn't sleep a wink!"

Lily Evans couldn't help but laugh out loud. Should she admit she missed him so much she couldn't sleep either?

"Then you have to sleep with me every night from now on!" Lucky pouted, putting on his best cute act. "Otherwise, I'm not sleeping at all!"

"Alright, alright, I'll keep you company every night." Lily Evans whispered in Lucky's ear, and while no one was looking, she snuck in a quick kiss.

Lucky was instantly over the moon, his mind filled with pink, bubbly happiness—he was practically floating.

After Mark Hunter and Cynthia Wu finished the wedding ceremony and Cynthia entered the bridal chamber, Lucky—who could drink like a champ—was roped in by Mark to help fend off the toasts. Meanwhile, Mark couldn't wait to dash off and see his new bride.

He lifted the bridal veil and shared the nuptial wine. Under the candlelight, Mark Hunter gazed at the beautiful bride he'd long admired, happiness bubbling within him.

"Wife!" Mark Hunter called out to Cynthia Wu, beaming with joy.

"Husband..." Cynthia Wu blushed, lowering her head in shyness.

Mark Hunter took out a box and placed it in Cynthia Wu's hands. "Wife, these are all the deeds to our Tenmile Hill properties, plus the banknotes and such. I'm a rough man, not good with details, so from now on, you'll have to manage our finances."

Cynthia Wu looked at the box—Mark Hunter was letting her handle all his assets right after getting married? He must really trust her!

"Husband, this..." Cynthia Wu was so moved she didn't know what to say.

"Well, you can look at the deeds tomorrow. Tonight, let's check out this..." Mark Hunter mysteriously pulled out a book from his chest. Cynthia Wu took it with a puzzled look, and as soon as she opened it, her face turned as red as a tomato.

In the bridal chamber, red waves surged and candlelight flickered—a scene full of bashful spring romance...

At Lily Evans's house.

After a long day, Lily Evans took a bath and walked into the inner room with her hair still damp.

Lucky had already bathed and was lounging at the head of the bed, his hair loose. From afar, under the candlelight, his features were breathtakingly handsome.

Lily Evans glanced at him and froze—he was just too good-looking!

"Lily, I've got a treasure for you!" Lucky looked up at Lily Evans, his eyes crinkling with a bright smile. He hopped off the bed, scooped her up, and spun her around in a circle.

"A treasure? So mysterious?" Lily Evans laughed, cupping Lucky's face in her hands. "Come on, show me what you've got!"

Lucky set Lily Evans back on the bed, then, with a theatrical air, pulled a booklet from under the pillow. He leaned in and whispered, "Mark Hunter gave this to me—he says it's a martial arts manual, and the moves in here are really powerful!"

"Wow, a martial arts manual!?" Lily Evans's eyes widened—please don't tell her it's some legendary Buddha Palm technique.

"Hehe, look, Lily! The little figures in here have such awesome moves!" Lucky flipped open the book with pride, pointing at a picture and grinning. "Mark Hunter said these techniques are only for couples to practice at night. Why don't we give them a try?"

Lily Evans's face turned bright red in an instant—what kind of martial arts manual was this? It was obviously those kinds of pictures! Mark Hunter really was sly, spinning tales about couples practicing martial arts just to trick Lucky!

Lucky was absolutely fascinated by the so-called martial arts manual. Propping his chin on his hand, he pointed at the illustrations. "Lily, this one called 'pushing the cart' looks great! And Mark Hunter says this one is 'leaf—meeting in the clouds, root—holding hands underground...' There's also 'Diao Chan worships the moon,' 'bending to please,' 'peach blossoms on a pretty face'... Lily, all these moves are amazing!"
