"Oh, Qianqian, don't worry. I'll go find out where they are right now! Immediately—" Shawn Young was burning with anxiety after hearing the news. He didn't even have time to say goodbye to Qianqian Liu before hanging up and rushing out of the command center.

"Huh? Shawn, what are you doing? You're not seriously going to rescue them, are you? Shawn, listen to me—there's fighting over there, it's too chaotic and dangerous, you mustn't go—Shawn—" Qianqian Liu was frantic, but Shawn had already hung up. She was so anxious she nearly lost her mind, but could do nothing except silently pray that he, Fang Ying, and Hu Yin'er would be safe.

"Max, gather a team right now, bring the best weapons and gear, and come with me to the Dongping River Hydropower Station to save them!" Shawn Young burst outside and gave orders directly to Max, who was waiting there.

"Understood, boss—how many people do you want to take?" Max quickly asked.

"We need to have absolute superiority in firepower! And we must get there as fast as possible. Anyone daring to lay a finger on our fellow Chinese—those opportunistic bastards—wipe them out! Got it?" Shawn Young said fiercely, eyes blazing.

"Got it! Got it! I'll round up our strongest fighters right now, we'll wipe out every last one of those bastards—" Max responded immediately, shaken by Shawn's intense killing intent. He'd never seen Shawn this furious before.

"Good. All of you, grab your weapons and get the vehicles ready—move out at top speed!" Shawn Young barked at the Hung Society brothers nearby.

"Understood!" The Hung Society brothers replied crisply and sprang into action. Max quickly assembled the men, and soon a fully armed force was lined up outside the garage. In less than three minutes, a unit of more than fifty men was loaded into twenty military trucks, speeding toward Raveneye Mountain. Max personally drove a military Humvee, with Shawn Young beside him, his face grim and holding two powerful P-5 submachine guns. Their convoy wound along the mountain road, heading for the Dongping River Hydropower Station, twenty kilometers away.

It took less than twenty minutes for the convoy to reach the chaotic Dongping River Hydropower Station area. Even from afar, Shawn Young could see the massive construction site shrouded in thick smoke. Many buildings showed signs of recent destruction; bullet holes riddled the walls, and the air reeked of burning debris. Looking around, he saw collapsed structures and the aftermath of weapon strikes everywhere. Flames were still raging in the wrecked sheds, sending black smoke skyward, blanketing the area in a hazy gloom for miles—a scene of utter chaos.

The road clinging to the mountainside that led to the Dongping River Hydropower Station was littered with huge boulders—clearly blasted down with explosives to form barricades. With the road blocked, no vehicles could pass in or out of the station. There was still about a kilometer to go before reaching the main building, so the team had no choice but to advance on foot, making the rescue much more difficult.

"Damn, those bastards are cunning. If I catch them, I'm gonna cut off their balls and skewer them!" Max cursed as he stopped the car. The soldiers in the twenty trucks behind quickly jumped out and, under Max's orders, began sweeping toward the Dongping River Hydropower Station.

Shawn Young jumped out too and scanned the chaotic worksite ahead. It was completely deserted—not a single person in sight. He frowned, feeling a heavy sense of dread. This meant the armed rioters had likely taken control of the area and possibly kidnapped the Chinese workers.

Either way, it was bad news for Shawn Young, especially since he was most worried about Vivian Fang and Yvonne Hu. After the brutal fighting of the past few days, Shawn knew all too well—anyone caught up in this chaos could do something crazy and horrifying at any moment!

"Max, have the brothers do a thorough search. If anyone's alive—enemy or Chinese waiting for rescue—bring them here so we can find out what really happened." Shawn Young instructed Max.

"Got it, boss! I'll go inside the station and look for survivors right away!" Max saw how anxious Shawn Young was and immediately led a team at top speed toward the Dongping River Hydropower Station, with Shawn right behind him.

Soon, their group of a dozen rushed into the main dam control building. Inside, they were met with a grisly sight—seven or eight mangled corpses lay on the floor, riddled with bullet holes and still bleeding. Most shocking of all, in the far corner were two mutilated female bodies, their lower halves brutally violated and impaled with sticks, their chests sliced open and tossed aside, blood still streaming from their wounds. Torn clothes and signs of struggle littered the area. It was clear these women had been raped and murdered by the depraved armed thugs. The air was thick with the stench of blood.

"F***ing hell! Those damn bastards are seriously twisted! If I catch you, I'll show you what payback really means!" Max, a seasoned mercenary, had seen plenty of carnage, but even he couldn't help cursing at the brutality before him.

Shawn Young, who had rushed in behind, was shocked by the scene. He quickly darted over and knelt beside the two female corpses, examining their faces carefully. They were two ordinary-looking, unfamiliar young women, both dead with eyes open. Relieved they weren't Vivian Fang or Yvonne Hu, Shawn secretly let out a sigh.

"Boss, the blood hasn't dried yet—these people died just moments ago. They must've been Chinese workers at the hydropower station. I think those armed thugs aren't far from us!" Max concluded after carefully inspecting the scene.

"Oh! Any survivors?" Shawn Young asked.

"None so far. I'll head upstairs and check—maybe there's something up there." Max said, dashing up to the second floor.

Shawn Young ordered the others to spread out and search the vast control building thoroughly. Meanwhile, he grew increasingly anxious, trying to figure out how to quickly locate Vivian Fang, Yvonne Hu, and the missing workers.

Just then, Max suddenly shouted from upstairs: "I see them! They're in the forest on the opposite side of the valley!"

Hearing this, Shawn Young rushed upstairs and found Max at a window, peering through military binoculars at the valley across from the hydropower station.

As soon as Shawn Young arrived, Max handed him the binoculars and said, "Boss, they've crossed the Eastpeace River Bridge and are now in the valley across the way. Most people were left on the bridge, but they've taken about a dozen hostages and are leading them into the primeval forest!"

Shawn Young quickly raised the binoculars and looked across. Through the lens, he saw hundreds of people tied together in terror, huddled on the Eastpeace River Bridge. Scanning further, he spotted a group of fifty or sixty armed thugs herding a dozen defenseless hostages into the dense valley forest.

And soon, Shawn Young spotted Vivian Fang and Yvonne Hu among the hostages being led away by the armed thugs. Both were tear-streaked and terrified, following the others into the valley as the thugs shouted and cursed.

"Ah! Thank goodness, they're still alive—I have to rescue them!" Shawn Young's spirits lifted as he realized Vivian Fang and Yvonne Hu were safe for now. As long as they were alive, he was determined to save them.
