Dragon Phoenix Jade Seal Wedding (2)

2/14/2026

At this moment, festive joy filled the entire little palace courtyard. Seven handsome men, all dressed in matching bright red wedding robes, stood together—their bodies glittering with gems of every color, sparkling brilliantly in the sunlight.

Ivy Shen emerged slowly, supported by Xiska. Instantly, all the brilliance in the courtyard seemed to be drawn to her alone.

Her vivid red wedding dress was embroidered with a shimmering phoenix, surrounded by seven clouds of different colors—symbolizing her seven guardians, each helping her soar.

What truly surprised them was her three thousand strands of black hair, draped over her shoulders like silk. By her ear, a small bun was pinned up, making her look pure yet dignified. The golden crown fit perfectly, and the beaded curtain of the phoenix coronet hung on either side of her face, revealing a delicate, refined beauty. When she lifted her gaze, her husbands met her star-bright eyes, and for a moment, it felt dazzling. Ivy had always been a natural beauty—even without makeup she drove them crazy, but today, with a touch of makeup, she looked like a priceless work of art, so stunning they honestly couldn't find words to describe her.

"Hey, brothers-in-law, don't just stand there like statues! Aren't you going to grab the wedding ribbons?" Seeing the seven of them staring dumbly at Ivy, Yvonne Li couldn't help teasing. She knew Heart was definitely the brightest star today.

Snapped back to reality, the seven husbands quickly stepped forward. Xiska hurriedly handed each of them a big red wedding ribbon—seven in total, one for each, so there’d be no fighting. Of course, every ribbon’s end was held by Ivy Shen.

With Ivy Shen led to the center by their ribbons, Adrian Night, Butterfly Rogue, Liam Willow, and Lucian Vane stood on the right, while the other three—who hadn’t married last time—stood on the left.

Facing them were Yvonne Li and Lacey Shen, seated above. Both had dressed up a little for the occasion—Lacey sat in a special chair, her tail covered with a big red blanket, radiating festive joy.

She smiled at them, feeling a wave of envy and emotion in her heart. Seeing her only sister getting married—this was something she’d never dared to dream of all these years.

"Don’t cry," Yvonne Li reached out and tugged gently at Lacey Shen, who was sitting beside her.

"I... I'm just crying happy tears," Lacey Shen said, quickly wiping her eyes in embarrassment.

"Here I am, here I am!" Suddenly, the voice of an old rascal rang out.

Yvonne Li quickly offered him a seat, but couldn’t help teasing, "Old Man Sai, you’re not the one getting married—why are you dressed head-to-toe in red?"

"Oh, you just don’t get it! My grandsons are getting married today, so as their elder, of course I have to dress festively!" With that, he plopped himself right down in the parents’ seat.

Butterfly Rogue and Caleb Miles looked on with envy—and a bit of jealousy. Secretly, they wished their own parents could have come to watch them get married too.

The others, though, had no parents, so there was nothing for them to dwell on.

"Time’s up!" Blue shouted, and everyone instantly stopped chatting.

"First bow—to Heaven and Earth!"

"Second bow—to the parents!"

"Husband and wife bow to each other—then off to the wedding chamber!" Blue’s voice was loud and excited, practically vibrating with energy.

Standing beside him, Pinkie, Colin Kerr, and Xiska all looked on with envy.

"Wait—the wedding chamber?" Everyone exchanged glances. "Is tonight a seven-way?"

"Tonight, tonight—it's my turn to sleep with her!" Little White Rabbit blurted out, face bright red. No way was he going to give up his spot—they couldn't just mess around!

"You just don't get it—since we're all getting married together, of course we should all spend the wedding night together!" Butterfly Rogue grinned slyly.

"Totally! I support this!" Caleb Miles shamelessly agreed.

"Works for me!" Adrian Night nodded in approval.

"Yep, group wedding night! Ah, the nostalgia," Lucian Vane chimed in. If they didn't all go together, he'd have to wait ages for his turn!

"No objections here!" Eli Crane smiled—he didn’t mind another round tonight.

"Dream on! Take a good look—what's this?" Ivy Shen pointed at her belly, glaring at them. "Are you trying to murder the baby? Go die!"

"Aw, honey, we just got married and you already want me dead? You want the baby to be fatherless?" Butterfly Rogue instantly clung to her, whining in a deliberately cheesy voice.

"Ceremony complete!" Blue declared, wrapping up the whole event as everyone finished their cheesy antics.

"Alright, alright, wedding’s done! Ugh, wearing all this is exhausting." Ivy Shen yanked off her coronet and tossed it to Pinkie—he’d always said it looked gorgeous, and Ivy figured he was definitely the bottom type, which explained his obsession with pretty things!

Pinkie was over the moon, immediately putting it on and turning back with a flirty smile. "Am I pretty?" he winked.

The seven husbands stormed over in a rage and started beating him up—what a pervert, wearing their bride’s headpiece! That was an offense to their eyes!

"Miss!" Suddenly, Wind flew in from outside, just like a gust.

"Huh?" Ivy Shen blinked in confusion. After rescuing her sister last time, Wind had stayed to help for ages, but vanished when he found out she was pregnant, saying he had important business to handle.

Such a weird scene was honestly bizarre.

"Master, Wind really did have something important. Here—" He carefully took out a brocade box and a letter from his robe.

Ivy Shen instantly knew what the box was—it contained the Dragon‑Phoenix Jade Seal. But why bring it out now?

"Miss, this is from Master for us. He said the Song Emperor gave it to him at the end, and told him to hand it to you once you were pregnant." Wind handed Ivy the letter, speaking with total seriousness.

Everyone was stunned—not just Ivy Shen, but all the others. Why would a letter have to wait until Heart was pregnant before it could be read?

Ivy Shen gripped the letter, feeling a little anxious. What could possibly be written inside?

Nobody spoke—after all, this was something her father, the Emperor, had left for her.

"Heart, hurry and go take a look. Maybe Dad has something important to tell you," Yvonne Li urged.

"Yeah, Heart," Lacey Shen echoed quickly.

Seeing this, Ivy Shen looked at them and said, "Sisters, let’s read it together."

"No need, you go ahead." Yvonne Li and Lacey Shen exchanged smiles.

They trusted that her father must have had his reasons for arranging it this way. Why should they worry?

With their approval, Ivy Shen went into the room alone, opened the letter, and began to read carefully.

A long moment passed.

Ivy Shen held the letter in her hand and let out a deep sigh. Yes, her father was right—the Song clan could not be allowed to disappear, not for hundreds of years! The symbol of the Song clan had to endure too!

So, she carefully opened the brocade box. Inside, wrapped in golden cloth, lay the Dragon‑Phoenix Jade Seal—glimmering, flawless, its dragon and phoenix entwined. The Song clan's mark was carved at the base. It looked like something sculpted by the heavens themselves.

Staring at the seal, Ivy Shen took another deep breath. Then she bit her index finger hard, and blood welled up.

She straightened, looked at the seal on the table, and let a large drop of blood fall onto the Dragon‑Phoenix Jade Seal with a soft 'plop.'

Instantly, dazzling golden light burst over her, shooting through the roof. Ivy Shen cried out and collapsed.

Hearing the commotion, everyone rushed in. Yvonne Li hurriedly pulled Lacey Shen along as they dashed into the room.

"Heart! Heart!" Lucian Vane was the first to rush in, scooping Ivy Shen into his arms and shouting her name.

Old Man Sai hurried over. "Quick, quick—put her on the bed!"

At his words, Lucian Vane quickly laid her on the bed. Old Man Sai checked her pulse as everyone watched anxiously. What had just happened? She'd been perfectly fine a moment ago!

"She’s fine, she’s fine—don’t worry," Old Man Sai said after listening carefully.

Only then did everyone notice the Dragon‑Phoenix Jade Seal on the table, shining with a regal green glow like a masterpiece.

"The letter!" Adrian Night spotted it under the table and quickly picked it up.

The six husbands crowded around, eager to see what was written. Why had Heart fainted so suddenly?

So, everyone read it carefully.

A second later, a chorus of wails rang out. "What? The first child’s tail is gold?"
