Chacha

"Just now," Lily Bai said. "I spent the night there, and when I woke up this morning, I happened to witness his transformation."

"Indeed, so full of spiritual energy," Baxa said. "Becoming your immortal attendant suits him perfectly."

"It's a bit of a grievance for him," Lily Bai said. "With his aptitude, he could even serve as a Divine Attendant."

"I don't want to be any Divine Attendant," Chacha said. "I just want to follow the Warden."

Lily Bai smiled.

Nine Li's jaw dropped. "Senior Sister, you accepted him as your immortal attendant?"

"That's right," Lily Bai said. "His name is Chacha."

"What a handsome and clever tea tree!" Nine Li said. "And his cultivation isn't low, either!"

Lily Bai nodded.

"I wish I had an immortal attendant like that," Nine Li said enviously.

"Wait until you become a Warden!" Lily Bai tapped him on the head. "You never cultivate properly, always lazy and scheming!"

Nine Li sniffed.

"General Baxa," Lily Bai called. "It's about time for us to leave. Would you please make the arrangements?"

Baxa was silent for a moment, then nodded.

"Senior Sister, are we really leaving so soon?" Nine Li said, looking reluctant.

"What, haven't you played enough yet?"

These days, Nine Li had a great time playing with the little demons in the Demon Emperor's Palace.

"It's nice here," Nine Li said. "Maybe the little demons don't have all the twisted schemes humans do. Being with them feels easy and comfortable."

"It's been over a month already, that's enough... We should leave," Lily Bai said.

"Got it, Senior Sister!" Nine Li said. "Don't worry! I'm always ready!"

...

When they returned to Lily Bai's quarters, Chacha was carrying a huge pile of things in his arms.

They were all gifts from Baxa, Nine Li, and Nine Li's friends.

There were clothes, hairpins, shoes, and all kinds of little artifacts.

Baxa even gave him an immortal sword called 'Leafdance.'

The sword was light, sky-blue, and very spiritual—perfect for a wood spirit like him.

Nine Li exclaimed that this sword was even better than his own immortal sword.

Lily Bai guessed that Baxa gifted Leafdance to Chacha to thank her for saving his life.

Lily Bai politely refused a few times, but finally accepted it.

"Oh no! I dropped it, I dropped it," Chacha said, as a hairpin fell from his arms. "Warden, can you pick it up for me? I don't have any hands left!"

"You've got too much stuff..." Lily Bai stopped. "I'll give you a Storage Pouch. Put everything in there."

"Okay!"

Lily Bai took out an unused Storage Pouch and handed it to him.

Chacha looked at it and said, "Warden, I don't know how to use it."

"I'll teach you," Lily Bai said. "First, you bind it with a Blood Rite, then..."

When Damian Black saw them, Lily Bai was teaching Chacha how to use the Storage Pouch, hand-in-hand.

Chacha quickly learned, put everything away, and laughed happily, his eyes shining as he looked at Lily Bai.

Lily Bai smiled back at him.

Damian Black walked over.

Lily Bai greeted him, "Your Majesty the Demon Emperor."

"He has transformed?" Damian Black asked, expressionless, looking at Chacha.

"Yes. Does Your Majesty recognize him?" Lily Bai smiled slightly.

"It's you!" Chacha said happily to Damian Black. "Greetings, High Immortal! I just took human form today!"

Damian Black ignored him and turned to Lily Bai. "I heard you're leaving?"

Lily Bai nodded. "It's about time to leave."

Damian Black was silent for a moment, then said, "Alright. Tomorrow, I'll arrange for you to leave."
