Battle of Genesis Realm

12/19/2025

Joe Di smiled faintly, completely unafraid of being implicated.

"Senior Brother Joe, the Sea Clan has two Genesis Realm Emperors, and the Demon Clan has three. This time I’ve dragged you into trouble with these powerful figures..." Seeing Joe Di’s indifference, Serena Yu still looked worried.

Joe Di understood what Serena Yu meant—she hoped he would leave the Void Market as soon as possible. But he had no intention of leaving; he planned to stay for a while. During this time, he would continue to lay various law formation flags throughout the Void Market.

Unless all five Genesis Realm Emperors attacked him at once, he had nothing to fear. As long as he left enough law formation flags in the Void Market, even if all five joined forces, he could still escape with ease.

"You should stay here and cultivate. I’m going out to take a look." When Joe Di killed that Sea Clan Prime Realm Emperor with a single punch earlier, he sensed a Genesis Realm expert nearby. Now, he wanted to meet this Genesis Realm cultivator.

If this Genesis Realm Emperor was from the Demon Clan, he would quietly take him out. Although the chance of facing all the Genesis Realm Emperors from the Sea Clan and Demon Clan at once was slim, it was best to be prepared. Either way, a clash with the Demon Clan was inevitable; the fewer enemies, the better. With the mutated Kunpeng descendant at his side, it would be strange if the Demon Clan didn’t make a move.

......

It was as if that Genesis Realm Emperor knew Joe Di would come out—he lingered outside the Phoenix Roost Inn the whole time. The moment Joe Di appeared, he turned and left, quickly exiting the Void Market.

Seeing the man leave the Void Market, Joe Di immediately understood he had been waiting for him. Apparently, this person didn’t care about him at all. Joe Di had been worried about the Genesis Realm Emperors of the Demon and Sea Clans joining forces, but now he realized they didn’t think that highly of him. He had been overestimating himself.

After the Genesis Realm Emperor left the Void Market, his speed increased rapidly. Joe Di didn’t use his Divine Sense Escape technique; instead, he summoned his Superior Artifact flying vessel and followed.

If he used his Divine Sense Escape technique, he would be much faster than this Genesis Realm Emperor.

Half a day later, the Genesis Realm Emperor stopped and looked Joe Di up and down. Joe Di also put away his flying vessel and sized up the Demon Clan Genesis Realm Emperor.

This fellow was short and stocky, with a face full of beard and hair that stood up like steel spikes. The Dao aura around him carried a twisted spatial law. Since Joe Di cultivated the Rule Dao, he could sense this warped law aura without even using his divine sense.

Once caught by this twisted spatial domain, an opponent would find it nearly impossible to break free. Unfortunately, it didn’t pose any special threat to him.

"You’re the boldest Prime Realm ant I’ve ever seen. It’s said that Emperor Ye of the Sacred Dao Domain was also daring, and he truly had some skill. At the Prime Realm, he dared to face Genesis Realm Emperors head-on, and when he reached Prime Realm perfection, he could kill five late-stage Genesis Realm experts working together. Too bad he never met me. You must be the second Prime Realm ant unafraid of Genesis Realm Emperors. I’m sure I’m not mistaken—you’re definitely Prime Realm, and you’ve only just advanced." The short man stared coldly at Joe Di after sizing him up.

He had deduced this from the punch Joe Di used to kill the Sea Clan Prime Realm cultivator earlier—Joe Di had only just stepped into the second stage, the Prime Realm.

That man was called Ye Mo? Only now did Joe Di learn the name of Emperor Ye. Hearing that Ye Mo had dared to fight five peak Genesis Realm Emperors alone while still at the Prime Realm, Joe Di was deeply shocked.

How strong must he have been? Even if Joe Di reached the peak of the Prime Realm, he would probably only have that much combat power.

If Ye Mo was truly that powerful, then for this guy to claim Ye Mo never met him was just shameless.

"Remember, my name is Damon Jin, from the Demon Clan." With that, Damon Jin didn’t even ask about Bolt’s whereabouts. His twisted spatial domain swept toward Joe Di, a cold, disdainful smile on his lips.

Joe Di, a mere Prime Realm cultivator, might have strength above his peers, but to challenge a Genesis Realm Emperor was sheer folly. Once caught in his domain, Joe Di would learn the true meaning of terror.

Joe Di chuckled. He didn’t even move his body—just casually walked a few steps, and cracks immediately appeared in the twisted space. At the same time, his Rule Domain spread out, and Damon Jin was shocked to find his twisted domain beginning to collapse.

"Huh?" It was the first time Damon Jin had ever seen a Prime Realm cultivator tear open his twisted spatial domain so easily. Now, he no longer dared to underestimate Joe Di—he frantically layered his domain and unleashed his divine essence.

Joe Di’s voice rang out just in time: “Is Emperor Ye, the one who was so bold back then, still alive? Where are the five Genesis Realm Emperors who besieged him? Has the grass on their graves grown tall? Actually, I misspoke—they don’t even have graves...”

As Joe Di finished speaking, the Azure Veil Blade swept up billions of blade marks and slashed forward with a single strike.

Damon Jin’s twisted domain, which had just stabilized under his relentless stacking, began to collapse again under Joe Di’s strike. Each blade light, marked by twisted Dao patterns, seemed to know the weak points in Damon Jin’s spatial domain, infiltrating everywhere.

Damon Jin’s expression changed. Joe Di was right—where were the five Genesis Realm experts who besieged Emperor Ye back then? Though he considered himself the equal of any peak Genesis Realm cultivator, he was only at mid-stage Genesis Realm now. If Joe Di was as monstrous as Emperor Ye...

Sensing his domain shattering faster and faster, Damon Jin dared not be careless. He summoned a massive spike, and at the same time, tens of thousands of Void Spike Wolves charged forth.

These Void Spike Wolves all had spiked heads, and their open mouths revealed teeth as sharp as their spikes. The highest-ranked among them were level-four divine beasts, with most being level-one or level-two, and a few level-three divine beasts.

Joe Di was amazed—he had never seen anyone raise so many Void Spike Wolves. Over ten thousand of them! How many resources did that require?

Immediately, Joe Di realized this guy must have a mountain of cultivation resources. Otherwise, there was no way he could afford to raise so many Void Spike Wolves.

Joe Di grew excited. Others might fear being besieged by tens of thousands of Void Spike Wolves, but he felt no fear at all. Ever since his blade array reached mastery, he rarely used it—today was the perfect chance. Not only the blade array, but even the Primordial Thunder Sigil and Skyveil Blade were group-killing blade techniques.

Just as Joe Di was about to unleash his blade array, he sensed that the domain he had been crushing Damon Jin with suddenly weakened, then shattered. Damon Jin’s domain suppression grew stronger and faster by the moment.

Joe Di was stunned. He hadn’t expected the Void Spike Wolves to not only attack in groups, but also stack their domains. And it wasn’t just simple addition—if his domain weren’t strong enough, it would have already been completely shattered.

Crack! A thousand-zhang void spike tore through Joe Di’s already weakened Rule Domain. Killing intent instantly enveloped him, and he felt the breath of death.

Roar! A chorus of howls swept over him, followed by tens of thousands of spikes shooting at Joe Di—this was the Void Spike Wolves’ innate ability, the Void Wolf Spike.

At this moment, not only was Joe Di’s domain torn apart, but even the surrounding space was sealed off by Damon Jin and his army of Void Spike Wolves.

Joe Di let out a long howl. The Azure Veil Blade slashed out with Lawbreaker Slash, a blade Dao divine ability.

The reason he could move freely in Damon Jin’s twisted spatial domain wasn’t because he truly crushed Damon Jin’s domain, but because his Rule Dao had already sensed the laws of Damon Jin’s domain. Now, with Lawbreaker Slash, he aimed to tear through those laws.

Boom! Crack! Crack...

A series of thunderous roars echoed, accompanied by a constant barrage of cracking sounds.

The Void Wolf Spikes sweeping toward Joe Di shattered again and again under Lawbreaker Slash. Shock filled Damon Jin’s eyes—he never expected Joe Di to be so powerful, able to break apart even his stacked twisted spatial domain and Void Wolf Spikes with a single strike.

This was clearly a divine ability that shattered the laws of heaven and earth. Even among the entire Demon Clan, there wasn’t a top-tier divine ability like this at the Prime Realm stage.

At this point, Damon Jin no longer saw Joe Di as a Prime Realm cultivator with strength above his peers. Now, he frantically burned his divine essence and blood, treating Joe Di as a foe far stronger than himself.

As powerful as Lawbreaker Slash was, when used in response, it couldn’t tear apart such a terrifying stacked domain in one go. Even though swathes of Void Wolf Spikes were obliterated by the strike, countless others still slammed into Joe Di.

Even with Joe Di’s Sacred Physique, under the relentless assault of so many Void Wolf Spikes, his body was left covered in wounds.

"Pfft!" Damon Jin’s giant spike was finally torn apart by Joe Di. At the same time, Joe Di’s domain condensed once more, blocking Damon Jin’s stacked twisted spatial domain.

With a wave of his hand, Joe Di unleashed over ten thousand blade weapons, forming a fifth-level slaughter blade god array in the blink of an eye.
