How Did Mrs. Thompson Die

The students' heartfelt invitation was something Dean Jade Evans could hardly refuse. She cheerfully agreed to attend the banquet and personally escorted Henry Thompson out the door.

When the other students at the academy heard that the new Top Scholar had arrived, they all rushed out to see the commotion, just in time to watch Professor Jade Evans personally escort Henry Thompson, the Top Scholar, outside.

"Wow, the Top Scholar is so young!"

"Is he also one of Professor Jade Evans's students?"

"Of course! Our Professor Jade Evans is the dean of Phoenix Academy, after all. The Top Scholar is a graduate of Phoenix Academy!"

"He really is young! Look at him—so young and already the Top Scholar. Ah, we really need to work harder, or we'll never have a chance to stand out!"

Everyone started talking at once, all discussing how young the new Top Scholar was.

Even Martin Wu couldn't help his curiosity. He ran out, and when he saw Henry Thompson, he let out a surprised "Eh?" and muttered to himself, "This Top Scholar looks about my age and he's already achieved so much. What a prodigy!"

Martin Wu couldn't help but take another couple of glances. Though the Top Scholar's looks weren't particularly striking, his demeanor was mature beyond his years—steadfast and composed.

After seeing Henry Thompson off, Dean Jade Evans was overjoyed. Her students had produced a Top Scholar, and as dean, she couldn't be prouder!
