"There are plenty of impossible things in this world. This is just the beginning. Come on, let me see just how strong your Nether Dragon really is!" Evan Lin shouted loudly.

If anyone saw two giant dragons conversing in midair at this moment, they'd be utterly shocked. In the Netherworld, Nether Dragons almost never reveal their true forms—unless faced with an emergency. Not only that, Nether Dragons are incredibly rare. But now, a gold and a black dragon had both appeared at once. This might just become a new legend of the Netherworld.

The Beast King glanced at Evan Lin and instantly lost heart. After both had taken dragon form, the bloodline pressure radiating from Evan made it so he could only use half his strength. The guy was already unimaginably powerful—now, with his own power halved, fighting was basically suicide.

Besides, in the Dragon Clan’s inherited memories, a nine-clawed Golden Dragon is the ancestral king. No matter the rank, every dragon must recognize him as their sovereign. Attacking the king is courting heavenly punishment—no dragon would be foolish enough to make that mistake, not even the Beast King.

So the Beast King shifted back into human form and landed on the ground. Evan Lin was a bit puzzled by this change, but he also reverted to human shape—his goal was already achieved. He still wasn’t sure if this Nether Dragon could use the Ninefold Divine-Dragon Metamorphosis, that heaven-defying technique.

Back then, the Golden Dragon King of the Beast Clan could use it. If the Beast King could too, beating him would actually take some effort. But now, it looked like that wouldn’t be necessary. Evan landed quietly, watching the once-arrogant Beast King with calm eyes.

"Not fighting anymore? What are you thinking right now?" Evan Lin asked coolly.

The Beast King’s expression flickered, as if making a huge decision. Then, without warning, he knelt down. For dragonkind—the noblest of races—kneeling is unthinkable unless faced with an unavoidable, extraordinary situation. Otherwise, even in death, they’d rather fall in battle than submit.

"It’s this Nether Dragon’s own blindness—I failed to recognize the arrival of the Dragon Clan’s king. Please punish me, Your Majesty!" the Beast King said to Evan Lin.

"Get up. Ignorance is no crime. You’re a member of my Dragon Clan, and your bloodline is exceptionally high. With you ruling the Netherworld’s dragons, I can be at ease. I know you have a lot of questions and some resentment, but just remember one thing: if I truly wanted to kill you, it would only take a single move."
