As Jun Yang unleashed his aura, the Blazing Flame Legion below let out a furious roar. Led by several deputy commanders, everyone condensed their Stellar Power into a single energy shield. Evan Lin recognized this as the so-called defensive formation.
Sure enough, it was extraordinary—the power radiating from that energy shield was incredibly strong. Even a peak Saint Venerable would probably be unable to shatter it. Still, Evan Lin couldn't help but worry. After all, the two opposing legions were attacking together with three hundred thousand troops!
"Jun Yang! Are you still not planning to surrender? Fighting to the death won't do you any good. If you join my Monroe Legion, I'll make you my deputy commander!"
"Hmph! What's the point of all this talk? He must die!"
Yang Chenghu shot a glare at Monroe, his longsword gleaming coldly as he charged straight toward Jun Yang.
Clearly, the hatred between these two men had reached the point of no return—a millennium-old feud that had to be settled today!
"You piece of trash! Without the Monroe Legion backing you, I could wipe you out in an instant! Hmph, even rats dare act arrogant before me. Do you have the guts to fight me in outer space?"
"How strong do you think you are? You're dead today, and I'm not afraid of you at all!"
Jun Yang pointed his spear, and in an instant, both he and the surrounding space shattered—he appeared in the outer starry void, with Yang Chenghu and Monroe following close behind.
"Hey! Count me in for this show!"
With a flicker, Monroe moved, and the three peak Saint Venerable experts left the battlefield. Everyone below finally breathed a sigh of relief—the pressure from these three was simply overwhelming, more than anyone could bear.
Jun Yang understood all too well: if three peak Saint Venerables fought here, no matter how the battle went, countless ordinary soldiers below would be caught in the crossfire and die. On the Blazing Flame Legion's side, the shield would be shattered in an instant under such attacks.
Jun Yang's power was limited, yet he was determined to fight two peak late-stage Saint Venerables. Either one was nearly as strong as he was, and if they joined forces, they might be able to kill him outright.
Evan Lin felt a jolt of anxiety—he didn't have much time left and had to speed up!
Every extra moment wasted put Jun Yang in more danger. The Blazing Flame Legion could only hold out under the shield for a little while longer. If he was fast enough, Evan could finish his preparations before disaster struck.
But as for the battle in the starry void, Evan couldn't do anything about it. At that level, even just watching for a moment would risk blinding himself.
Boom!
Before fighting even broke out on the ground, thunderous explosions echoed from the outer starry void. Jun Yang and Yang Chenghu, true arch-enemies, clashed furiously the instant they met.
Monroe, on the other hand, just watched from the sidelines, his eyes gleaming with venom as he schemed in silence.
Maybe... today he could wipe out the entire Blazing Flame Legion and even find a chance to kill Yang Chenghu. That guy was just as much a threat as Jun Yang! And if he pinned everything on Jun Yang afterward, the only one who stood to gain would be the Monroe Legion.
