Molly Yun saw Eric Jiang, and tears welled up instantly. "Eric!"
"Nono, are you alright?" Eric Jiang's entire attention was focused on Molly Yun.
"I'm fine, really." Molly Yun's cheeks were streaked with tears, but her smile was radiant. "I have wonderful news—you're going to be a father! And of twins!"
On the helicopter, Molly Yun lay back on the sofa, covered with a blanket, staring blankly out the window.
Cecilia Gu was overjoyed to hear Molly Yun was expecting twins. But when she glanced at Adrian, her eyes burned with anger!
It's all his fault!
If it weren't for him, my sister would be so happy!
Cecilia Gu was in tears, sobbing uncontrollably. Eric Jiang tried to comfort her: "Nono must have her reasons. You're the person she cares about most—if you're okay, she can focus on finding a way out."
"I know, but I just can't stop crying," Cecilia sobbed even harder. "Why does fate have to be so cruel? Why does it keep making things so hard for us sisters? What did we ever do to deserve this?"
Cecilia Gu said anxiously, "But my sister is already pregnant. She can't have any more children with you."
"That's right," Adrian replied. "Mr. Yin, you're a smart man. You should know I wouldn't mistreat Molly. Even for the sake of her child, I won't let her suffer this coming year. So you don't need to be so tense. Even if I lose out, I won't let her or the child suffer."
As soon as she reached the ground, someone came up to greet her. "Miss Yun, your new room is ready. Please follow me."
Molly Yun glanced back at the helicopter still circling above, but didn't ask anything and followed the person away.
"That's right," Adrian replied. "Mr. Yin, you're a smart man. You should know I wouldn't mistreat Molly. Even for the sake of her child, I won't let her suffer this coming year. So you don't need to be so tense. Even if I lose out, I won't let her or the child suffer."
"I believe you," Charles Yin said. "But the Jiang family's children have our own people to love them. Mr. Adrian, even if you manage to escape our encirclement today, how long can you really run? Right now, only the Mo family's satellite is tracking you, but soon my Yin family satellite will join in, tracking you from every angle. In your tribe, you may be unstoppable. But in modern civilization, against the power of the state, you can't hide. Are you sure a life on the run is really what's best for her?"
Mo Zixin, who hadn't spoken until now, finally chimed in at just the right moment. "The Mo family and the Yun family have always been closely linked. The Yun family's business is my business. Outside this country, I may be powerless. But as long as we're on this land, escaping my watch won't be easy."
Molly Yun knew these people wouldn't harm her, so she accepted it and sipped slowly. "Where's Adrian?"
"High Priest Adrian has other matters to attend to tonight, so please rest first, Miss Yun." The servant, who was also acting as a caretaker, replied, "Your room is right here."
Molly Yun didn't ask any more questions and just followed them into the room.
As soon as he finished speaking, the helicopter overhead began to descend, hovering steadily in midair.
A ladder dropped from the helicopter, and people started climbing up with their things.
In the end, only Adrian and Molly Yun were left.
"Sorry, everyone. Until next time." Adrian grabbed Molly Yun and pushed her onto the ladder.
Molly Yun suddenly turned to Cecilia Gu. "Cecilia! Take care of the family for me. I'll find a way to get out!"
Looks like Adrian has spent quite a bit of time out in the world.
Adrian watched the sisters' deep bond and threatened Molly Yun in a low voice: "Remember what you promised. If you try to escape, I'll take Yin Yinuo! Even if she didn't inherit the astrologer's bloodline, her child might!"
Molly Yun glared fiercely at Adrian. How could she let this jerk hurt Cecilia's child?
After getting pregnant, Molly Yun tired more easily than before. For the sake of the baby, she didn't delay and went to bed early.
The next morning, when Molly Yun saw the whole villa, she couldn't help but gasp in awe. It was like a paradise, a hidden haven.
"Adrian really is something," Mo Zixin frowned. "How did he spot us?"
"I guess we were spotted as soon as we reached the bottom of the mountain," Charles Yin said, unwilling to accept it as he looked at the departing helicopter. "After all these years, I've finally met a worthy opponent. Mr. Mo, interested in continuing the game?"
With that, Charles Yin glanced over at Mo Zixin.
The gazes of two top-tier male leads collided in the air.
Mo Zixin smirked. "Sure."
"Want to team up again?" Charles Yin reached out his right hand to Mo Zixin.
Molly Yun heard footsteps behind her. Even without turning around, she knew it was Adrian.
"Do you like the view here?" Adrian asked softly.
"It's beautiful," Molly Yun replied quietly. "It's just a shame I may never see it again."
"This villa belongs to a wealthy tycoon. I saved his son, so he gave it to me," Adrian said softly. "If you like it, I can give it to you."
"No need," Molly Yun shook her head gently. "You keep it. For all I know, Cecilia and the others are already investigating every property you own."
"Don't worry, this place is nearly impossible to find." Adrian looked a bit smug. "I knew that mountain would be discovered sooner or later, so I've been preparing this place for a while. I can tell you really like it here. It's good for you and the baby."

On the helicopter, Yun Morong lay back on the sofa, covered with a blanket, staring blankly out the window.
Actually, it was nighttime, and outside was pitch black—she couldn't see a thing.
Even so, she kept staring out, lost in thought.
At that moment, someone came over to remind her to get ready for landing.
Yun Morong snapped back to reality. Already here so soon?
Looks like her new hiding place wasn't far from the old one.
She wondered how Cecilia and the others were doing now.
The helicopter didn't land. Instead, it lowered the ladder again, and someone led Yun Morong down to the ground first.
As soon as she reached the ground, someone came up to greet her. "Miss Yun, your new room is ready. This way, please."
Yun Morong glanced back at the helicopter still circling above, but didn't ask anything and followed the person away.
They walked along a long, winding wooden walkway all the way to a lakeside villa.
The villa's lights were soft, casting shimmering reflections on the water. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
Inside the villa, someone brought a fresh glass of milk. "Miss Yun, have a warm drink to help you relax."
Yun Morong knew these people wouldn't harm her, so she accepted it and sipped slowly. "Where's Yiran?"
"Mr. Yiran has other matters to attend to tonight, so please rest first, Miss Yun." The servant, who was also acting as a caretaker, replied, "Your room is right here."
Yun Morong didn't ask any more questions and just followed them into the room.
She opened the door and warm light spilled out, illuminating the pale orange floor and cozy orange furniture.
The whole room was decorated in a modern Chinese style.
There was a round display shelf, intricately carved wooden windows, a bed and table made of huanghuali wood, and a fine Ru kiln vase filled with freshly picked wildflowers.
Every detail in the room showed the owner's taste and the high quality of the villa.
As the young mistress of the Jiang family and the eldest daughter of the Yun family, even she couldn't help but praise the decor.
Looks like Yiran has spent quite a bit of time out in the world.
She just couldn't understand why, after becoming so modernized, he'd willingly return to the tribe to serve those primitive people.
It's such a contradiction.
After getting pregnant, Yun Morong tired more easily than before. For the sake of the baby, she didn't delay and went to bed early.
The next morning, when she saw the whole villa, she couldn't help but gasp in awe. It was like a paradise, a hidden haven.
It was a huge natural freshwater lake, surrounded by dense woods. The roof was painted green, blending perfectly with the landscape. Even satellites would have trouble spotting it.
The only way to contact the outside world here was by plane or water. Getting here by land was basically impossible.
Building such a big house here must have taken a lot of work.
You could tell the owner poured a lot of effort and money into making this villa what it is today.
At the entrance was a winding walkway, perfect for gazing out over the lake or fishing.
Honestly, vacationing here would be the best thing ever.
Yun Morong heard footsteps behind her. Even without turning around, she knew it was Yiran.
"Do you like the view here?" Yiran asked softly.
"It's beautiful," Yun Morong replied quietly. "It's just a shame I may never see it again."
"This villa belongs to a wealthy tycoon. I saved his son, so he gave it to me," Yiran said softly. "If you like it, I can give it to you."
"No need," Yun Morong shook her head gently. "You keep it. For all I know, Cecilia and the others are already investigating every property you own."
"Don't worry, this place is nearly impossible to find." Yiran looked a bit smug. "I knew that mountain would be discovered sooner or later, so I've been preparing this place for a while. I can tell you really like it here. It's good for you and the baby."
