You Are Not Worthy to Die Under the Ink-Black Sword

"Murdering his master, killing his senior brothers, then slaughtering his own parents—Ugly Daoist’s mind must be twisted beyond repair!" Ian Song couldn’t help but sigh inwardly after hearing Ugly Daoist’s story.

The next moment, his gaze shifted to Ugly Daoist. He asked, "Are you here for the Ink-Black Sword or to kill me?"

At these words, Ugly Daoist’s hideous old face writhed as if crawling with worms, looking both savage and disgusting. He sneered darkly, "Originally, I didn’t plan to take your little life, but now, I want the Ink-Black Sword—and your life too!"

Ian Song shrugged and called out loudly again, "All the other friends, show yourselves!"

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

A series of figures flashed by, and in an instant, six more groups appeared all around.

Seven factions, fifty-four people in total: thirty-three late Soul-Split experts and twenty-one mid Soul-Split experts. You had to admit, Heaven-Sword Elder’s influence was impressive—just one word from him, and so many top cultivators showed up for him.

Of course, most of them were there for two reasons: first, to earn one of Heaven-Sword Elder’s two promised interventions; second, naturally, for Ian Song’s massive stash of top-grade spirit crystals.

"Alliance Lord Liu, we meet again!" Ian Song greeted Liu Yi of Heaven’s Dao Alliance.

"Young Master Song, you’re too polite!" Liu Yi replied with an awkward smile.

Suddenly, Ian Song’s eyes widened slightly. He hadn’t expected Fletcher Toba to show up too. Did the news really travel all the way to the Song Dynasty in just a few days? Even so, as the Fire God Church’s Divine Son, Fletcher didn’t need to curry favor with Heaven-Sword Elder.

Noticing Ian Song’s gaze, Fletcher Toba’s eyes turned cold, openly radiating killing intent. He demanded in a chilly voice, "Ian Song, you’ve made Diana suffer terribly. If you know what’s good for you, come back with me to the Fire God Church and accept my master Vulcan Pi’s punishment. I can spare your life for now. Otherwise, as Divine Son, I’ll cut you down today!"

Ian Song was stunned, and Diana Toba’s face flashed through his mind. He blurted out, "How did I hurt her? If it hadn’t been for me, you and your sister would’ve died trapped in that grand formation!"

"What? You were the one who saved me?" Fletcher Toba asked in surprise.

Ian Song laughed. "What, Diana never told you? Anyway, you don’t need to thank me. I only stepped in for her sake. Otherwise, why would I care whether you lived or died?"

At this, Fletcher Toba’s face twisted in anger and conflict. After hesitating for a long moment, he finally said, "Come with me to the Fire God Church. If my master doesn’t kill you, I’ll let you live!"

"No time!" Ian Song scoffed.

"How dare you! Do you even know that because of you, Diana was locked in Ten-Thousand-Ghost Valley by my master!" Fletcher Toba roared furiously.

Ian Song’s brows furrowed. "What kind of place is Ten-Thousand-Ghost Valley? Why did your master lock her up there?"
