Are You Crazy

Victor Li frowned.

Duke Winston Wood's lips curled slightly, his smugness all too obvious...

"Hehehe!" Grace burst out laughing. "Great! Amazing! Absolutely fantastic!"

"Alliance Leader?" Joanna Zuo looked at her with concern.

Grace waved her hand drunkenly, "Don't call me Alliance Leader anymore! Call him that! Wood—Alliance Leader Wood!"

As she spoke, she gave Duke Winston Wood a big thumbs up: "Impressive! Genius!"

Duke Winston Wood sneered, "As Alliance Leader, you drink yourself into such a mess. What a disgrace!"

"Yeah! Total disgrace!" Grace frowned. "So disgraceful! I'm leaving! I'll go take a cold bath, sober up, and then come back to hand things over to Alliance Leader Wood, how about that?"

With that, she stumbled her way down the mountain.

Rina Chu and Bobby followed after her, but she told them to go home.

"Are you crazy?" Suddenly, someone shouted at her.

Grace looked toward the person yelling at her. The person seemed to have two heads—she knew it was just because she was drunk.

"How dare you run into the Dowager Princess's carriage? Are you tired of living?" the person continued.

Grace shook her head and finally saw clearly—she must have ridden her horse toward a carriage.

"Sorry!" Grace apologized to the person. "I'm drunk! Really drunk! Sorry!"

"Just get lost!" the person said with disgust. "You're a woman, yet you're this drunk—how shameful!"

"Fine! I'll go! I'm leaving right now!" Grace steered her horse to the side. "Please, go ahead! Safe travels!"

"Wait!" a voice called out from inside the carriage.

Grace didn't know if the voice was calling her, so she kept staggering forward.

Suddenly, someone grabbed her arm and pulled her off the horse.

Grace looked at them, still groggy. "Huh? What are you doing?"

The carriage curtain lifted, revealing the face of a middle-aged woman.

Her face was flat and she looked rather fierce.

"President Zhu," the woman called out.

"Huh? You look familiar." Grace patted her head. "I remember now! The Dowager Princess! Duke Winston Wood's wife—the one who called me a homewrecker before!"

The Dowager Princess sneered, "President Zhu—oh, that's right, you're no longer President! Grace Lawrence, do you know your crime?"

"I know! I admit I'm guilty!" Grace said. "My horse just wouldn't listen today. I beg the Dowager Princess for forgiveness!"

"Guards, slap her!" the Dowager Princess ordered.

Two guards came over, each restraining her from one side.

Both of them seemed to be seventh- or eighth-rank Spirit Practitioners.

Grace didn't resist. She just widened her hazy eyes and asked, "Dowager Princess, why are you ordering them to slap me?"

"You bumped into my carriage, so you deserve to be slapped!"

Duke Winston Wood had spoken ill of her, saying Grace Lawrence used the princess to get rid of her rivals.

She also plotted against and took down Consort Penelope.

Though she was a princess, she was also a member of the Wood Family. After hearing Winston Wood's words, she had long held a grudge against Grace Lawrence.

Today, Grace Lawrence happened to run into her, so she didn't hold back.

Grace stared at the guards, her head spinning, but she didn't fight back.

One of the guards raised his hand and slapped her hard across the face.

The slap echoed, and Grace's cheek stung painfully.

She blinked, then laughed out loud, "Wow, you really don’t hold back!"

The Dowager Princess glared at her, "Let this be a lesson. Next time, watch where you’re going!"

Grace rubbed her sore cheek and grinned, "Got it! I’ll be more careful next time, Your Highness."

The guards released her, and Grace staggered back to her horse.

She climbed onto her horse, swaying, and rode off, still laughing to herself.

The Dowager Princess watched her leave, her eyes full of contempt.

Grace rode away, her laughter echoing down the road, as if mocking her own misfortune.
