Draining the Aura of All Treasures

1/5/2026

At this moment, when Ryan Ling saw that ridiculously powerful Glazed-Gold Primordial Immortal Hammer, he felt as if his heart had been smashed by it. The force inside that giant hammer was obviously terrifying—enough to destroy anything. It had already surpassed the Da Luo Golden Immortal level and reached the realm of Primordial Immortal power!

What is a Primordial Immortal?

It means 'one qi splits into three pure ones,' overflowing with primordial force—the Immortal power in your body has reached true completion. This power is insanely violent, and in the Immortal World, Primordial Immortals are called 'overlords of cultivation.' That means this kind of Immortal power is outrageously domineering. When a Primordial Immortal strikes, heaven and earth tremble, and no matter what world you're in, Ryan could flatten it with one punch. That's how terrifying Primordial Immortals are!

Right now, Ryan knew better than anyone—no matter how strong he got, there was no way he could go head-to-head with a Primordial Immortal. The gap in power wasn't just a little; it was ocean-sized. If he took this insane hit head-on, it was guaranteed to have some absolutely insane consequences!

Right now, Ryan could wipe out the entire Count, and he was even confident he could go toe-to-toe with the whole Northslay Gang. But against Primordial Immortal power? Not even close. He had to start thinking about his backup plan!

"Ha! You little bastard, finally scared now, huh? Too late! With the Primordial Immortal Hammer blasting you, you're dead for sure. Today I'm sending you straight to the afterlife!" At this moment, the Northslay Gang guy shouted, clearly confident because they had this ultra-powerful Glazed-Gold Primordial Immortal Hammer. Only a hammer like this could flatten everything—even if Ryan reached some unprecedented level, he'd never be a match for this hammer!

Ryan instinctively gathered every ounce of power in his body—this time, it was no joke. The matchup was already way out of his league, but he had to focus all his strength into one point. Otherwise, there was zero chance of winning!

"Still want to fight us, huh? Fine, I'll grant your wish!" Another Northslay Gang member smirked. Right now, none of them took Ryan seriously at all. Since Ryan insisted on fighting, they wouldn't back down either!

All the other members backed away, leaving just one gigantic, red-faced, fat guy holding that equally gigantic Glazed-Gold Primordial Immortal Hammer. With a thunderous swing, he smashed it down toward Ryan!

In that instant, it was like time and space froze—everything stopped, everything solidified at that exact moment.

In the blink of an eye, a deafening explosion rang out—a surge of overwhelming force erupted right above Ryan's head. It was like heaven and earth shattered; the ground around Ryan split open, and even half of the colossal Demon-Dragon City collapsed in that instant. The casualties among the city's residents were catastrophic!

As for Ryan, he obviously took the biggest hit of his life—his defenses shattered instantly, everything broke apart in that moment. No matter how strong his Golden Immortal power was, he couldn't withstand that hammer blow. The crowd watching nearby had their eyes bulging out of their heads. It was a bloodbath like no other. The miracle among miracles—Ryan—finally couldn't block this insane attack and was smashed straight into the ground, like being hammered into his own grave!

"Nice! Well done! There's never been a Golden Immortal who could block a hit like that, and you're no exception!" The Northslay Gang leader sneered, staring straight at the massive pit in the ground—so deep you couldn't see the bottom. Ryan was down there somewhere!

"Damn it, dig that kid out for me right now! I want to turn him into a living artifact on the spot!" The leader barked coldly, voice icy as hell. Everyone knew Ryan wasn't just some random guy—his Golden Immortal power was off the charts, which meant his value was sky-high. Turning him into an artifact was the perfect plan!

"Got it!" The surrounding experts didn't hesitate for a second—they got right to work, everyone moving like crazy.

But just a few seconds later, several people started shouting.

"Weird—he's gone!"

"His aura's gone too!"

"No sign of him within a thousand miles!"

......

"How is that possible? Expand the search radius! Even if you have to turn all of Demon-Dragon City upside down, find him!" The boss shouted, jumping into the search himself. Ryan was way too valuable—there was no way they'd let him escape!

Everyone else was just as stunned. By rights, Ryan should've been seriously injured and unable to run far—no way should his aura be completely gone. Not just the Northslay Gang, but all the other city experts started secretly extending their senses to search for Ryan. But the result was the same: it was like he'd vanished off the face of the earth!

Meanwhile, while the upper levels were going nuts, deep underground Ryan was wrapped up in a mass of roots. He'd planted these roots in the Jennie Family's secret tunnels before the fight even started—a last-minute escape route. And inside this root cocoon, besides Ryan, were Lady Melody and a whole crowd of Jennie Family beauties!

"Ryan, are you okay?" All the beauties crowded around, super worried about his injuries.

"I'm fine!" Ryan moved a little—he'd taken a brutal hit inside and out, but with his insane strength and top-tier defenses, even a blow like that was something he could handle.

Still, that kind of bombardment messed him up inside—he was feeling it, no question.

He needed some recovery time, but obviously the Northslay Gang wasn't about to give him any!

"Hey, do your Jennie Family tunnels go straight to the Count's Manor?" Ryan suddenly had an idea and blurted out.

"Yeah, we've got tunnels that go right there!" The Jennie Family's big sis replied quickly.

"Perfect! Let's get moving!" Ryan didn't hesitate for a second. He knew better than anyone—if he tried to recover the normal way, it'd take days. But if he used some sneaky shortcuts, maybe he could speed things up. Like raiding the Count's Manor and draining all the treasure aura inside! That would rocket his strength to a whole new peak, maybe even let him break through to Da Luo Golden Immortal. Only then could he really go toe-to-toe with the Northslay Gang—otherwise, forget it!

"Alright, open up every tunnel to the Count's Manor—let's go!" Big Sis didn't hesitate, shouting the order. Instantly, all the passages opened up. Ryan led the whole group of beauties in a rapid retreat. Sure, this spot was both the most dangerous and the safest, but it was still right under the enemy's nose. If they got caught, they'd be toast—literally.

"Go!" Ryan didn't waste a second—he shot up instantly. With Primeval Heavenwood shielding him, even the most sensitive enemies wouldn't notice him for a while.

Soon enough, Ryan and company reached the very bottom of the Count's Manor. That place was temporarily safe—totally empty, inside and out. Most eyes were focused outside the city; not just the Count's Manor, even Demon-Dragon City itself was nearly deserted!

For Ryan, this was the perfect opportunity—he could claim every treasure in the Count's Manor for himself. His original goal in Demon-Dragon City was to sneak in and loot the Count's Manor, since it was famous as the number one treasure vault in the whole Demonic World!

Ryan didn't hesitate—he reached out his claws, and endless aura started pouring into the Count's Manor's underground treasure vault. That was where all the loot was piled up, and Ryan had already scouted it out. In a flash, he started frantically grabbing treasures by the bundle, instantly melting them down to fuel his future breakthrough to Da Luo Golden Immortal. If anyone from Demon-Dragon City saw it, they'd probably cough up blood—no one had ever dared to waste treasures like this! Every single item was worth a fortune, but Ryan was destroying hundreds at a time, enough to make anyone faint from heartbreak!
