You Are Blocking the Spirit Barrier Entrance

"Why don't we ask Grandpa Gene what’s inside the Spirit Barrier?" Rina Chu suggested. "He definitely knows."

"Yeah! Let’s go!" The two of them grabbed each other's hands and turned to leave.

But just as they turned around, they saw two people standing there.

Evan Xiao, and Leon Zane.

"Your Highness! Master Leon!" Grace Zhu instantly flashed a brilliant smile. "Wow, what a coincidence running into you two here."

Evan Xiao looked at her with a blank expression.

Then he stepped toward her.

When he reached her, he even spoke first: "Move aside."

Grace: "Huh?"

"You're blocking the entrance to the barrier."

"Oh..." Grace stepped aside.

Evan Xiao waved his hand, the barrier opened, and he strode inside with regal confidence.

Grace blinked, and then suddenly darted in after him.

Leon Zane tried to go in too, but smacked right into the barrier.

The barrier... closed.

Only the Crown Prince and the Spirit Emperor can control this barrier.

Leon figured the Crown Prince must've thought it was him following behind, so he shut the barrier.

He patted the barrier, about to call out to Evan, but Rina Chu quickly clamped a hand over his mouth.

Leon pulled her hand away, glaring at her. "Rina Chu, what are you doing?"

"With your IQ, I seriously have no idea how you managed to get this far! Didn't you notice the Crown Prince shut you out on purpose?"

"He shut me out on purpose? What the—" Leon started to protest, but couldn’t finish.

Because he realized, inside the barrier, the Crown Prince already knew the person who snuck in wasn’t him. But still, he didn’t open the barrier...

Suddenly, Leon felt kind of abandoned. He took a deep breath and turned around, only to find Rina Chu staring at him.

"Why are you staring at me?" Leon asked, annoyed, shooting her a sideways glare.

"I wasn’t staring at you! You were staring at me!"

"Who’d stare at you? I’d like to live a little longer, thanks!" Leon scoffed, looking icy and disdainful.

"If you weren’t staring at me, how would you know I was staring at you?"

Leon sneered and leaned down, looking down at her. "Tell me, what are you doing at Drake Abyss? Don’t tell me you came here for me?"

Rina Chu grinned. "Of course I came looking for you! You’re the famous Master Leon! Every woman in the world adores you! You’re so handsome, I can barely move my legs when I see you!"

"Hmph!" Leon snorted. "Don’t think a few sweet words will get you off the hook!"

"Sweet words?" Rina Chu burst out laughing. "That was pure sarcasm! How could you take it as sweet talk? Hahaha!"

Leon’s face darkened. He grabbed Rina by the collar. "You Verdant Order people are always hovering around Grace Zhu. What are you up to?"

"Verdant Order?" Rina raised an eyebrow. "What’s that?"

"You think I don’t know?" Leon sneered. "You’ve got the Verdant Order emblem on your chest. You are one of them!"

Rina Chu blinked at him. "You saw it?"

"You think I went undercover next to you all this time for nothing?" Leon said smugly.

Rina Chu smiled faintly and beckoned him over with a finger.

Thinking she wanted to say something, Leon leaned in.

Bam! Rina punched him right in the eye, then whipped out a strange-looking whip, wrapped it around his neck, slammed him to the ground, and started beating him up.

"You pervy jerk! Bastard! You actually spied on me while I was bathing! If I don’t rip out your dragon tendons and skin you alive today, I’ll write my name backwards!"
