Six-Star Mission

Although Ian Song's mind was a bit muddled right now, he still understood what was happening. Instinctively, he put some distance between them and said, "Of course, Sis, you're very beautiful."

"Hehe!"

Hearing Ian's words, Rhea Redmoon looked very pleased. "So, do you like your big sis?"

"Uh!"

Ian was stunned, unable to react for a moment. This was blatant temptation. After a long pause, he finally said, "Sis, don't scare your little brother! I'm not very brave, you know!"

"Hehe! Don't be scared, I'm just joking with you," Rhea Redmoon teased, laughing mischievously. Then she poured Ian another cup of wine and raised her glass:

"Little brother, Sis is really happy to have you as a sibling. Let's drink this cup together!"

"Alright, Sis, you first!"

After downing a cup of God-King's Drunk, Ian felt his intoxication deepen. Even his mind grew fuzzy, his vision blurred, and Rhea Redmoon seemed to split into two before his eyes.

Seeing Ian's state, Rhea Redmoon showed a hint of a triumphant smile. Suddenly, her aura changed, and her eyes grew even more dark and mysterious.

"Little brother, look at me!"

Rhea Redmoon's voice seemed to echo right by Ian's ear, yet also as if it came from somewhere far away.

Instinctively, Ian raised his head and looked at her face.

Then, Ian's gaze started to grow vacant and confused. Just at that moment, his soul suddenly trembled, and in an instant, he was completely sober—his drunkenness vanished without a trace.

But he didn't show it, continuing to act as if he was still under Rhea Redmoon's spell.

"Little brother, tell me—how exactly did you get me and your brother-in-law out of that place?"

"I used a Teleportation Divine Talisman."

Ian replied in a robotic tone.

Hearing this, Rhea Redmoon's delicate brows furrowed slightly as she thought to herself, "So this kid wasn't lying to me before?"

Then she continued to ask, "Who taught you formation arts?"

Ian answered, "I once obtained some formation Dao texts, and later studied formation arts under my master teacher."

After that, Rhea Redmoon asked Ian several more questions, but none of his answers satisfied her.

Finally, she couldn't help but stare at Ian and said, "Little brother, drop the act. Sis knows you aren't really bewitched by me!"

Ian didn't react.

She tried probing him a few more times, but Ian still didn't respond. Suddenly, Rhea Redmoon gave a cold smile: "Little brother, kill yourself!"

"Yes!"

Ian nodded, then raised his hand and swung it full force toward his own head.

Just as Ian was about to smash his own skull, Rhea Redmoon hurriedly shouted, "Stop!"

Ian quickly stopped his hand, but inside, he broke out in a cold sweat. Even though he had a resurrection divine ability, he really didn't want to die just for this. At the same time, he realized that Rhea Redmoon's friendliness toward him definitely had some ulterior motive.

"Little brother, do you like Sis?" Rhea Redmoon asked again.

"I like you!" Ian answered in a stiff, mechanical voice.

"Do you want to have Sis's body?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Sis is the most sacred person in my heart!"

"At least you know your place! Wake up!"

Rhea Redmoon showed a satisfied smile, then snapped her fingers. A strange power entered Ian's body, which he immediately devoured with his Primordial Chaos vortex. His eyes regained their usual clarity.

"Sis, let's have another drink!"

Ian picked up his wine cup for a toast.

"Alright, that's enough. If you drink any more, you'll pass out!"

Rhea Redmoon snatched the wine cup from Ian's hand and put away the rest of the God-King's Drunk.

Two hours later.

Ian left Rhea Redmoon's courtyard, but he couldn't stop thinking: "Why is Rhea Redmoon getting close to me? Is she really just trying to find out how I got them out of that place?"

He felt her motives were more than that.

But Rhea Redmoon wasn't the type to give up easily, and she would probably keep testing him in the future. Ian couldn't help but become more cautious.

Three days later.

Vice commander Galen Mu summoned Ian.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Galen Mu said, "Brother Ian, there's a Six-Star mission here. Are you interested in taking it?"

"Is that allowed?"

Ian was a bit puzzled.

Galen Mu said, "This is a special case. The mission is to explore an ancient Divine Ruins, and we need someone highly skilled in formations to come along. If you complete it, it will count as thirty Four-Star missions!"

Ian thought for a moment and said, "I need to know the mission details first!"

Galen Mu tossed him a mission crystal. Ian sent his divine sense inside, and immediately understood the mission in more detail.

This ancient Divine Ruins isn't inside the Divine Realm, but in a dimensional world connected to it.

Legend has it that this Divine Ruins was created by a Divine Emperor, but it never became a true world. Later, that Divine Emperor didn't leave a legacy; instead, he hid his inheritance in the dimensional world he created.

That dimensional world used to drift in the chaotic currents of time and space, but after countless years, its operation faltered and it became permanently fixed in one place, finally connecting with the Divine Realm.

It was eventually discovered by a God King from the God-Demon Corps. He tried to enter, but found that the dimensional world was on the verge of collapse; if he went in, it would be destroyed for real.

The highest tolerance for that world is a Central Celestial God.

So, this exploration of the ancient Divine Ruins will be led by a Central Celestial God, accompanied by ten Lower Celestial Gods.

Since the dimensional world is filled with all kinds of formation and restriction barriers, they need a formation expert and a restriction expert to join the team.

Last time at the Nangong Clan, Ian showed extraordinary skill in formations. That's why the Main Corps sent a message inviting him to join this search mission.

The mission lasts one year, and the rewards are generous—thirty million Divine Crystals.

Several pills, one Celestial God weapon, one Celestial God cultivation method, and one Celestial God martial skill.

After a moment of hesitation, Ian decided to join the mission.

Galen Mu smiled with satisfaction. "Good. Come see me here tomorrow, and I'll send you to the Main Corps!"

Ian nodded and left the God-Demon Corps.

Back at home, Ian called Nan Feng and the others over for a brief talk. Thanks to the resources he had obtained from the Nangong Clan, Ian no longer needed to hide anything. With the abundant resources he provided, Nan Feng and the others all advanced to late-stage Mid Celestial God.

As for the other eight, five had already reached Mid Celestial God, and the remaining three had all reached the peak of late-stage Lower Celestial God.

That night, Ian visited his two master teachers.

The next morning, Ian arrived at the God-Demon Corps.

Galen Mu personally led him to a special building.

Inside, there was a teleportation formation that could send them directly to the God-Demon Corps headquarters.
