"Fine, if you insist on going, I'll go with you. Anyway, you've basically mastered the Heavenblade Six Forms now, so as long as we're careful, there shouldn't be any real danger," Kelly Qin said.
The two walked out of the secret chamber, ready to leave, but saw the Mysterious Human Elder waiting outside. "Grandpa!" they both called out in unison.
The elder glanced at Ryan Ouyang and Kelly Qin, then smiled, "You two heading out? Now that Beast King City has fallen, there isn't much danger nearby. Go early and come back soon!"
"Grandpa, we're planning to check out Beast King City. Ryan said he just heard someone calling out to him—he thinks it's his friend, so he wants to take a look. It might take a bit longer," Kelly Qin explained.
A flash of surprise crossed the elder's face, but he quickly returned to normal. "If that's the case, I'll go with you. If we run into danger, I can help you handle it. I've been here long enough—it's about time I went out and took a look myself."
"Thank you, Grandpa!" Kelly said happily. With Grandpa coming along to Beast King City, she felt much more at ease. In her eyes, her grandpa was the strongest expert of all.
Ryan Ouyang didn't say anything. He knew the elder was probably going to see if it was Evan Chu—he'd promised Evan he'd help him leave the Netherworld one day.
With that, the three of them soared into the sky, heading swiftly toward Beast King City. Meanwhile, Ethan Fenn had returned to human form and came to stand before Evan Chu, looking a bit pale—the sweat on his forehead showed how much energy he'd spent.
"Evan, I bet Ryan Ouyang will be here soon. When he gets here, you owe me those Netherghost Violet Orchids! I haven't been this exhausted in ages, but it's worth it for those orchids," Ethan said.
"We'll talk when Ryan gets here. I always keep my word. I didn't expect you to have this kind of skill—finding you first really was the right call," Evan Chu laughed.
Just then, Princess Faye and Princess Ivy walked up to Ethan, inspecting him closely. The aura he gave off was definitely Human, but that huge tortoise body he’d just shown left them both utterly confused.
"Ethan, why did you turn into a tortoise just now? What’s going on?" Princess Ivy couldn’t help but ask.
Ethan just gave a faint smile and glanced at Evan Chu, hoping he’d explain—after all, these two women were Evan’s companions, and Ethan didn’t want to risk offending them.
"Faye, Ivy, I’ll explain Ethan’s situation to you later. Now isn’t the time. Just treat him as a person and don’t worry about the rest," Evan Chu said with a laugh.
"Evan Chu, what kind of answer is that? Treat me like a person? I am a person! Are you saying I’m not human?" Ethan glared at Evan, speechless at his explanation.
Sean Xiao had already pieced together most of the truth about Ethan’s form. He knew long ago that breaking the Netherworld barrier required the joint power of the Four Sacred Beasts, so the Ryan Ouyang they were waiting for was very likely one of them too.
Before long, as everyone waited, three figures flew in overhead and stopped dozens of meters away: a beautiful young woman, a kindly old man, and a red-haired youth.
The red-haired youth spotted Evan Chu, Ethan, and Roxanne Lin, and his face lit up with joy. He immediately shot over—and at the same time, a massive saber appeared in his hand, slashing straight at Evan Chu.
Kelly Qin and the elder were both startled. They didn’t understand why Ryan Ouyang would attack the youth he’d just met, and he was using the most powerful Heaven-Splitting Blade from the Heavenblade Six Forms. Ryan’s speed was so fast that it was already too late to stop him.
The elder glanced at Evan Chu’s group and realized one of the Humans was a Fourth-Layer Venerable Martial Realm expert, even higher than his own level. He grew angry and helpless at Ryan’s recklessness, knowing he’d have to risk his life to protect Ryan and Kelly if things went wrong.
Seeing Ryan Ouyang charging at him, Evan Chu didn’t dodge—he just smiled faintly. Princess Faye and Princess Ivy were both shocked and tried to block the attack, but Evan stopped them.
Sean Xiao and Jill Zhang didn’t make a move. In their eyes, this youth was no match for Evan Chu anyway. Judging from Ethan and Roxanne’s delighted expressions, he was probably the person they’d been waiting for.
This youth was likely just showing off his strength to Evan Chu, maybe even pulling a prank—there was no need to intervene.
Kelly Qin’s face went pale. She hadn’t expected to run into Ryan’s enemy the moment they arrived. If she’d known, she wouldn’t have let him come out—what if something happened to him? She couldn’t help but turn to the elder and say:
"Grandpa, is Ryan in danger? Please, you have to protect him!"
"Kelly, don’t panic. If Ryan really is in danger, I won’t stand by and do nothing. That youth is only at Seventh-Layer Saint Martial Realm, but he’s completely unfazed by Ryan’s attack. He’s no ordinary person. Plus, that Fourth-Layer Venerable Martial Realm expert hasn’t even moved. I suspect this youth is the Human everyone’s been talking about—the one who killed the Beast King and Ghost King," the elder said, puzzled.
Just then, Ryan’s saber flashed with red light, and a massive wave of saber-qi struck at Evan Chu. The space around them rippled violently—the attack was clearly powerful.
But Evan Chu did something that stunned everyone: instead of dodging, he crashed straight into Ryan’s saber with his body.
Boom! A thunderous crash rang out as both of them were sent flying back dozens of meters before regaining their balance. The red-haired youth’s hand kept trembling—obviously from the force of the rebound.

Evan Chu was completely unscathed, grinning at Ryan. Then, in a flash, he appeared right in front of him. Kelly Qin panicked, thinking Evan was about to hurt Ryan, and shouted, "Don’t hurt my Ryan!" She thrust her sword at Evan.
Evan ignored her attack. When the sword reached him, he casually caught it between his fingers and said, "Kid, I didn’t expect you to find yourself a girlfriend. Not bad! She’s pretty! Hahaha!"
"Get lost! Seeing you always puts me in a bad mood, you damn pervert. That was my strongest attack, and you blocked it with your body—seriously, you piss me off. My arm’s still numb!" Ryan Ouyang complained.
Evan released Kelly Qin’s sword and said, "You wanted to surprise me, so I had to give you a surprise too. Satisfied? Hahaha!"
Ryan burst into laughter, then turned to Kelly Qin, "Kelly, this is my sworn brother, Evan Chu! I attacked him on purpose just to test him—sorry for scaring you!"
"Ryan, that prank was way over the top. I was so worried! I can’t believe your friend is so strong—he actually blocked your Heavenblade Six Forms," Kelly said, amazed.
"He’s a total monster, don’t even bother comparing yourself to him. Competing with him is just asking for trouble. The friends I said I wanted to find in Beast King City are these guys. I’m so happy we finally reunited today," Ryan laughed.
Princess Ivy and Faye Knox were both stunned—so the red-haired youth was the one Evan Chu had been searching for. Their bond was clearly deep, or he wouldn’t have greeted him with such a prank.
Ethan and Roxanne Lin flew over to Ryan. "Ryan, you’ve improved a lot! What realm are you at now?" Ethan asked first.
"Eighth-Layer Saint Martial Realm—pretty awesome, right? What about you, Ethan?" Ryan replied.
"A bit weaker than you. And who is she?" Ethan asked.
"Her name is Kelly Qin. She’s basically my girlfriend now. Surprised? Even I, Ryan Ouyang, have a woman in my life," Ryan said, glancing meaningfully at Roxanne Lin.
Roxanne Lin caught his look and smiled. "She’s really beautiful. Congratulations, Ryan, for finding someone you love!"
Just then, the elder came over to Ryan, studied Evan Chu, and asked, "Are you the Human youth who killed the Ghost King and Beast King? And the Azure Dragon who broke open the Netherworld entrance?"
Evan Chu was briefly taken aback. He glanced at the elder and realized he was actually a Third-Layer Venerable Martial Realm expert. Clearly, Ryan’s achievements owed much to the elder. Evan said, "Looks like Ryan’s told you everything. Yes, I’m the one you mentioned. Thank you for looking after my brother and helping him!"
"Grandpa, is he really the super expert who killed the Ghost King and Beast King? How is that possible? He’s so young—how can he be so powerful?" Kelly Qin couldn’t help but ask.
"Impossible things happen all the time. Those people over there—the woman and the elder—are also incredibly strong. I doubt I could beat them. Kelly, remember: there’s always someone stronger out there. Don’t judge things by appearances," the elder said.
"Since Ryan calls you Grandpa, I’ll do the same. Let me introduce my friends," Evan Chu said.
"That’s Princess Ivy, daughter of the Nether Lord; and Faye Knox, daughter of the Ghost Lord. The Venerable Martial Realm expert is Sean Xiao, and beside him is Jill Zhang, the new Human King—don’t underestimate her, she’s incredibly strong. Even I’d have to pay a price to beat her. The other two are Ethan Fenn and Roxanne Lin. The four of us worked together to break the Netherworld barrier."
The elder’s expression kept shifting, and when he saw Sean Xiao, he became excited and hurried over. "Are you Sean Xiao from the Sacred Sword Sect?" he asked.
