Private Room Scheme

Jack Jiang wrapped his arm around Vivian Wei and leaned in, grinning slyly as he teased Shawn Young, "Heh heh—what a coincidence! Isn’t this Sylvia Snow’s boyfriend, Shawn Young? So, you’re here alone tonight to have some fun, huh?"

"Haha—so it’s Young Master Jiang! I’m just here with a friend to hang out, not exactly sneaking around for fun. I don’t have your kind of luck with the ladies!" Shawn Young replied with a smile.

"Oh! Oh! Luck with the ladies, huh? What do you think of Vivian here? Is she sexy enough? Is she as amazing as your Sylvia?" Jack Jiang said with a suggestive grin.

"Oh—Jack—you’re so naughty—sneaking up on me—" Vivian Wei played along, letting out a soft, flirtatious moan. Her beautiful face was full of sultry charm, irresistibly alluring.

Shawn Young had important things to do and didn’t want to get tangled up with him, so he quickly brushed it off: "Yeah, yeah—she’s pretty good, Young Master Jiang! You’ve got great taste! The women you pick are definitely top-notch!"

Just then, Ken Lin walked over. Seeing Jack Jiang talking to Shawn Young, he asked, "Oh, Shawn, is this your friend?"

"Haha—we’ve had drinks together before!" Shawn Young replied with a smile.

Jack Jiang instantly remembered how Shawn Young had made a fool of him at Yvette Liu’s birthday party. A flash of anger and malice crossed his eyes, but then he got an idea. He smiled at Shawn Young and said, "Heh heh, Shawn, tomorrow we’re having a countryside party at Phoenix Valley Ranch in the southern suburbs. You should come too!"

"A countryside party? Out in the suburbs? Young Master Jiang, you’re into that kind of thing too?" Shawn Young asked, surprised.

"Hehe—You have no idea. Hanging around the city gets boring after a while. Sometimes you gotta switch things up—head out to the countryside, try some wild game, play with water guns, and maybe have a little outdoor fun, if you know what I mean! Everyone's bringing their girlfriends! You and Sylvia should come too. The more the merrier!" Jack Jiang grinned, eyes full of mischief.

"Oh, Sylvia's gone abroad. I don't have a date—" Shawn Young was about to refuse.

"No worries! I also invited Yvette Liu. If you come, you can be her stand-in boyfriend. Trust me, she'd be thrilled! Hehe—who knows, maybe you'll get lucky with her—" Jack Jiang winked, his smile full of innuendo that every guy would understand.

Shawn Young had things to do and didn’t want to get too involved with Jack Jiang. But when he heard that the baby-faced, bold Yvette Liu would be there, he perked up. Just thinking about Yvette's eye-catching headlights made his heart race and his mind wander. He nodded to Jack Jiang, "Alright—if Yvette Liu's going, count me in!"

"Hehe—I knew you liked those big assets of hers! What guy wouldn't? Haha—it's settled then. Tomorrow we'll meet at Phoenix Valley Ranch on the southern outskirts. Yvette will pick you up! I was going to invite you and your friends out tonight, but Vivian seems a bit hot and bothered, so I'm taking her to cool off first—" As Jack Jiang spoke, Vivian kept squirming in his arms, making his desire flare up.

"Haha—then hurry and help the beauty cool off! We've got our own plans." Shawn Young couldn't wait for this annoying guy to leave.

"Alright—don't forget! See you tomorrow! Hehe—" Jack Jiang smirked, then hugged Vivian and led his gang of cronies toward the private room.

Once Jack Jiang left, Ken Lin asked Shawn Young, "Bro, how did you end up hanging out with that kind of guy?"

Shawn Young was stunned and quickly waved his hands, "Oh! I'm not really friends with him. I actually humiliated him secretly before, and now he's just trying to save face!"

"That guy does drugs. You'd better stay away from people like him, or you'll get dragged down with him—" Ken Lin frowned.

"Huh? Ken, how do you know that guy does drugs?" Shawn Young asked curiously.

Ken Lin replied smugly, "Hehe—did you forget what I do? Guys like him, I can spot them at a glance! He’s got a bunch of needle marks on his hands—and that smell on his body, I can tell right away—he’s a full-blown addict with at least two years under his belt!"

"Oh! That makes sense, Ken. You really are experienced! That guy’s actually the son of the deputy party secretary!" Shawn Young said.

Ken Lin frowned, "Oh—the deputy secretary’s son hanging out in a place like this and doing drugs for over two years? Heh, sounds like the deputy secretary himself is pretty shady!"

"Yeah, Ken, you’re right. Actually, I asked you here tonight because I need your help with something!" Shawn Young said.

"Oh? What do you need, bro? Just say the word! Hehe, you know I’d go through hell and high water for you!" Ken Lin saw this as a chance to get closer to Shawn.

Shawn Young nodded, "Thanks, Ken. Let’s talk inside the private room—"

"Alright—" Ken Lin nodded, about to lead Shawn Young into the reserved private room when he suddenly caught sight of a familiar figure downstairs. His face changed, and he leaned on the railing to get a better look, mumbling, "Huh? What’s he doing here?"

Shawn Young was curious too and looked downstairs. He saw Chen Bao walking in with a skinny, short middle-aged man in black. Behind the man were four or five tough-looking guys in black, clearly some serious muscle. One of them was carrying a black briefcase, sticking close to the middle-aged man.

"Ken, do you know that guy? What’s his story?" Shawn Young asked, intrigued.

Ken Lin frowned, "That middle-aged guy is Nika, a notorious drug lord from Myanmar. The briefcase his bodyguard is carrying is either full of cash or drugs. He’s definitely not here for anything good."

Shawn Young said, "Oh, I see. Ken, the thing I need your help with tonight is related to the real boss behind Golden Splendor Nightclub!"

"You mean Hu Kai from the Blue Wolf Syndicate and his sworn brother Chen Bao?!" Ken Lin asked directly.

Shawn Young was surprised, "Wow—Ken, how do you know so much?"

Ken Lin laughed, "Hehe—our country's Special Abilities Unit isn't the police, but we work together a lot, so we share intel. I have access to the files on all the major crime syndicates in China, including the Blue Wolf Syndicate."

"Hehe—that’s perfect! I’m trying to get my hands on key evidence against the Blue Wolf Syndicate and take them down in one shot! With your help, Ken, it’ll be much easier!" Shawn Young said excitedly.

Ken Lin replied, "Taking down the Blue Wolf Syndicate isn’t easy, but it’s not impossible either. They’re a deeply rooted criminal organization with a tangled web of protection. Without solid evidence, we won’t get far!"

Shawn Young said, "I know where the most important evidence is. I asked you here tonight so we can get our hands on it! Let’s talk in the private room."

"Alright!" Ken Lin and Shawn Young entered the reserved private room. Once inside, Shawn explained everything, and added, "The Blue Wolf Syndicate has messed with me and my friends too many times! I’m taking them down—for the good of everyone!"

Ken Lin nodded, "Yeah—if Chen Bao’s secret ledger is as important as you say, it’s got to be hidden somewhere he thinks is absolutely safe. With our skills, as long as we know where it is, we can get it. The tricky part is not tipping him off—getting the ledger without alerting Chen Bao is no easy feat!"

Shawn Young said, "Yeah—Ken, you’re right. The hardest part is figuring out where Chen Bao is hiding that ledger. If we could just track his movements, it’d be a lot easier!" Shawn sighed.

Ken Lin’s eyes lit up at Shawn’s words. "Hehe—bro, I think I’ve got an idea!"

"What’s your idea, Ken? Tell me!" Shawn Young perked up.
