Lady Simone’s Sound Skill never stopped for a moment, and it was only getting stronger. To put it simply, it was like the female lead in an adult film just about to reach her climax—her moans were urgent and passionate, and those breathy ha-ha gasps could really mess with your head.
"You ha, I ha—let’s see who can out-ha the other." He still remembered what Wu Zhengfeng said: you gotta be loud, clear, and high-spirited. So The Fool took a deep breath, tilted his head to the sky, and let out a roar: "Ha—" The high-pitched sound echoed everywhere, fragments of memory flooding in, and he immediately followed up with a tune: "Liluya!"
Such a familiar melody—memories came rushing back, so he naturally sang the next line: "Young heroes, march on! Ha—liluya, let’s build our country!"
And so, right in the middle of Lady Simone’s Sound Skill aura, this bizarre song smashed through everything with brute force, instantly changing the vibe of the whole battlefield.
Honestly, it was a pretty subtle thing.
In terms of raw power, the Heavenly Dragon Way Sound wasn’t necessarily stronger than Lady Simone’s Sound Skill—after all, Lady Simone was a pro. Plus, Heavenly Dragon Way Sound has both internal and external methods, and just the external stuff isn’t enough to be her match. When it comes to vibe, Lady Simone’s Sound Skill is basically the hardest to break and the toughest to counter.
Straight up, that thing’s sound effect—no matter the time, place, or situation—will make you feel awkward, uncomfortable, and completely unable to look away. Princess Embroidered Jade’s skills are actually better than Silverblade King and Lady Simone, so normally, our side should’ve won. But first, they hit us with the Ten Evil Soul-Scattering move and put everyone in a bad state, then Lady Simone kept messing with our heads using her Sound Skill. For top martial artists, mental strength is everything, which is why we ended up stuck in a deadlock.
The longer it dragged on, the more intense the Ten Evil Soul-Scattering’s effects became, putting Princess Embroidered Jade at a bigger disadvantage. You could say The Fool jumped in at the most critical moment—like a soccer match going into penalty kicks, where both sides are totally focused but dead tired, and victory or defeat hangs by a thread.
Right at that moment, The Fool’s singing blasted through the sky. His big voice was louder than a megaphone—and, as luck would have it, was the perfect counter to Lady Simone’s Sound Skill vibe.
Don’t believe it? Try it yourself—when you’re about to, you know, finish, and suddenly someone belts out a full-power "Ha~~liluya, let’s build our country!" The effect is so strong you’ll either lose it on the spot or just go limp. Any other song—marches, serenades, love ballads—won’t do squat if you’re really in the zone. But this one? Man, it’s just ridiculously deflating...
You could say The Fool sang the perfect song, at the perfect place, at the perfect time.
"Hey loli lo hey lo hey~ hey loli lo hey lo hey~ Fifty-six constellations, fifty-six flowers, fifty-six brothers and sisters are all one family~~" The Fool sang at the top of his lungs, and the sound waves unleashed with the Heavenly Dragon Way Sound’s external method were truly earth-shaking. Lady Simone’s Sound Skill didn’t stop, but it definitely got rattled. She seemed to want to handle this troublemaker herself, but from the depths of the mist came the sound of fierce fighting—clearly, the two princesses weren’t about to let her slip away that easily.
Seeing how well it worked, The Fool doubled down, belting out his song with all the power in his lungs. As he kept singing, Lady Simone’s Sound Skill wobbled and stuttered, like an old tape player on the fritz—the sound quality dropped instantly. The lyrics were short but hit the mark: "Gong hey fat choy, sawasdee ka, Amitabha, hallelujah—all rolled into one—love, my China, hey!"
Lady Simone’s Sound Skill came to a screeching halt. At the same time, a thunderous boom erupted from deep within the mist, and a fierce blast of energy swept out in all directions. Lady Simone and Silverblade King couldn’t stand for the sudden shift, while Princess Embroidered Jade and Princess Flower Shifter seized the chance to go all-in for a counterattack. All four top-tier martial artists were determined to settle everything in this one moment, so they unleashed their strongest, most unreserved attacks.
Victory or defeat—all decided in an instant.
As the moment arrived, The Fool kicked off, sending up a cloud of dust as he launched himself into the heart of the battle. Dual pistols in hand, he flashed across dozens of meters, unleashing endless bullets right at the silver sword light. Silverblade King’s face changed—he had no choice but to defend with his blade, and his relentless attack was instantly forced to a halt. With a flick of his wrist, a silver cylinder appeared, and The Fool tossed it to Princess Flower Shifter, who was fighting Silverblade King. Old-school hidden weapons—she’d definitely know how to use it.
Meanwhile, The Fool charged into another battle circle. Two graceful figures tangled in midair, flying and clashing—ordinary folks could only see a blur of white and a flash of purple light twisting and attacking. But The Fool’s eyes gleamed, and he decisively stomped the ground, shattering it with a boom as he shot into the air, throwing a punch at the purple figure.
Curves in all the right places, a tiny waist, long straight legs, glowing smooth skin—the purple figure was a veiled, exquisitely shaped woman. Her outfit was even more outrageous than the skimpy gear you see in online games; every cut and detail seemed designed to stir up desire. Honestly, compared to the straightforward style in Steelbull City, this was way more tantalizing. Most men probably wouldn’t even want to throw a punch after seeing her face—they’d just want to grab those impossibly perky boobs instead.
But The Fool wasn’t one of them. Seeing Princess Embroidered Jade in trouble, his eyes turned icy as he threw a punch right at Lady Simone’s abdomen.
"Hmph!" Lady Simone sensed the power in that punch, and unlike the Underwear Men, she wasn’t dumb enough to take it head-on. Even in midair, she could move—her waist twisted with incredible flexibility, dodging the punch and reaching out to grab The Fool. Her fingers crackled with energy, and both hands glowed.
Princess Embroidered Jade quickly blocked and assisted, fighting alongside The Fool to attack Lady Simone. The three of them moved so fast their limbs became blurs; the crackling sounds of their clashes weren’t frequent, and every move was swiftly countered. It was dangerously silent—one wrong step and someone’d get hit hard.

The Fool couldn’t stay airborne for long, but he used his strength cleverly, leveraging the force of each clash to keep himself from being a sitting duck. With Princess Embroidered Jade helping out, the three of them kept fighting and flying straight toward the pond.
Pop! The Fool seized the moment and flicked Lady Simone’s shoulder with his finger. The force was enough to chip a chunk off a wooden block, but Lady Simone was no Golden Fan Young Master—she rolled her shoulder to deflect most of the blow, then moved like a shadow and grabbed The Fool’s wrist from behind.
Princess Embroidered Jade’s eyes narrowed as she focused her willpower, and before Lady Simone could finish her killer move, she grabbed Lady Simone’s wrist too. Neither Lady Simone nor The Fool was about to let themselves be caught, so they all started grappling and countering. Lady Simone didn’t want to go head-to-head with The Fool’s brute force, and The Fool didn’t want to clash with her inner energy, so both sides fought with lightning speed and tricky moves. For a moment, their back-and-forth left everyone’s head spinning.
Splash! All three crashed into the pond together. For normal folks, falling from the air into water would be a moment of panic, but these three didn’t miss a beat—their martial arts were just as sharp and quick underwater.
Channeling all their power, Princess Embroidered Jade and Lady Simone didn’t try to float—they all sank deeper together, bubbling down into the depths. The pond didn’t seem big, but it was surprisingly deep. Soon, there was no light left, and still no bottom in sight. Judging by the water’s flow, The Fool knew it went even deeper below.
The two top-tier martial artists could clearly sense it too.
"He’s strong, sure, but at the end of the day he’s just a regular guy—no internal breathing technique. If you don’t want him to drown, just tell me the secret and I’ll let you both go." Lady Simone was fighting both of them at once and still had energy to talk. Well, "talk" isn’t quite right—her mouth didn’t move, her breath didn’t leak, but her voice rang clear in their ears, laced with that sneaky Sound Skill. She really was a master of the sonic arts.
Princess Embroidered Jade glanced at The Fool, but he shook his head—no worries. The golden Twin Sigil on his left hand could supply him with all the nutrients and water he needed, plus a good bit of oxygen. It couldn’t replace breathing, but he could hold his breath way longer than any normal human.
No one backed down, no one gave in—the three were locked in a standoff. Like three quarks making up a neutron, their struggle and push-pull created a bizarre whole. Nobody could break away, and nobody could get too close to the others.
They kept sinking, the water pressure rising all around, and it felt like they were a hundred meters below the surface. The vertical rock walls started to widen, and suddenly, a surge of rapids swept through as their bodies shuddered.
"An underground river?" The thought flashed through all three minds at once, and before they knew it, the current surged, dragging them deeper.
"Crap, who knows how long this underground river goes? It’s pitch black, no way to tell where we are—if we can’t find a way out, we might just suffocate and end up fish food!" The thought threw Princess Embroidered Jade off her game for a second. In a showdown between masters, even a tiny slip decides the fight. Lady Simone was about to strike when suddenly, something darted at them through the water.
Rip! Princess Embroidered Jade felt her sleeve tear. In the darkness, another one of those things shot toward her—she pinpointed it by sound and slapped it dead. Her nimble fingers quickly explored its body and figured out it was a weird fish, about a foot and a half long, with razor-sharp teeth—definitely not a friendly species.
Splash, splash—the sounds all around made it clear a whole swarm of weird fish was attacking. Princess Embroidered Jade and Lady Simone both turned pale; one fish was nothing, but hundreds or thousands? That’s trouble. People aren’t made for underwater fighting, and neither of them had trained for this. If those fish swarmed and attacked, even if they weren’t hurt, they’d slip up sooner or later.
The fish weren’t the real problem—it was the enemies waiting for the right moment to strike.
But neither had time to think about that, because the current surged again, sweeping all three away like leaves in a sewer. At the same time, the weird fish launched a frenzied attack.
Their fight instantly fell apart—the fish attacked even harder than expected, and it was impossible to fend them off. After so long underwater, with no chance to breathe, their inner energy started to get muddled, and even top martial artists couldn’t protect themselves completely. Amid the sounds of ripping cloth, who knew how many pieces of clothing got shredded.
At times like this, The Fool actually had the upper hand—each weird fish was like a streak of red energy to his senses, totally exposed. He didn’t even need to punch or kick—just letting the fish bite him, the shock of his skin and muscles was enough to make them explode like firecrackers.
The burst of blood and flesh attracted even more carnivorous fish, and soon the whole area was a swirling vortex of fish. Who knows how long they drifted in the underground current—Princess Embroidered Jade felt her breath slowly running out, drifting in darkness. Already poisoned by Ten Evil Soul Scatter, she finally couldn’t hold on and started to lose consciousness.
Oh no—was she really going to die like this? The dignified Princess Flower Shifter, top master of the sixth heaven, suffocating and ending up as fish food?
Her last thought was feeling a warm, big hand wrap around her. In a daze, someone pried open her mouth and breathed a puff of air into her—and then she remembered nothing at all.
