Slaughter Heaven and Earth

1/5/2026

At this moment, Ryan Ling finally snapped. Nobody could have imagined that his power would suddenly skyrocket—right as he spoke, he had successfully broken through to a true Immortal King!

But the Immortal King he became was nothing like the rest—his strength was off the charts. Right now, his Immortal King and Saint King powers were fully overlapping, inside and out. The way he manifested left everyone utterly stunned!

“A—A Wish-Fulfilling Immortal King?” No one knew who muttered it from the crowd, but instantly, every eye went wide. Clearly, Ryan’s breakthrough had gone way beyond anyone’s expectations—he’d hit the Wish-Fulfilling Immortal King level! What’s that mean? It means total mastery over immortal arts, absolute control at will. This kind of realm is out of reach for pretty much everyone. It’s pure wish-fulfillment, the ultimate power—almost nobody can touch it. Right now, the crowd could clearly see that every trace of aura around Ryan had changed. He was bursting with vitality, standing tall in midair, his massive figure seemingly covering the whole Immortal City, his sky-piercing presence blanketing the entire Immortal World.

This insane level of power is the perfect embodiment of the word ‘wish-fulfilling.’ What does it mean? It means everything goes your way, you control it all, nothing escapes your grasp. That’s the strongest realm there is—Immortal King in every sense, fully on display.

And right now, Ryan wasn’t hesitating for a second. His strength had already hit the level of shaking the heavens and earth—inside and out, he was Immortal King to the max. Sure, he’d just broken through, but he was already a peak Immortal King, radiating an absolutely terrifying divine might!

His aura was unmatched across all worlds—even just breathing, he sucked up all the surrounding Immortal King qi until there was nothing left. His presence was so overwhelming, nobody could shake him!

“You guys still wanna fight me? If you’re smart, just surrender. For the sake of our Elysium Sect ties, I’ll give you one last shot at survival. As long as you’re willing to support Lynn Long, I’ll let everything slide—no grudges, no payback.” Right now, Ryan wasn’t looking to tear things apart with them. He knew full well these people were the backbone of Elysium Sect, each one a top-tier Immortal King, and even one who was a great-perfection Immortal King. If he wiped them all out, Elysium would be gutted from the inside and any powerful force could destroy the sect in a heartbeat.

Ryan knew better than anyone that their real enemy was the notorious Heaven-Earth Sect. If all these folks got wiped out, Heaven-Earth Sect would score a massive win—and he’d be the one left holding the bag!

And the moment Ryan said this, a bunch of Heaven-Earth Sect experts froze up. Clearly, Ryan’s words were already way more merciful than anyone could expect—no top dog would ever be this generous.

“Bro, that guy’s already become a Wish-Fulfilling Immortal King, and he’s still our Elysium Sect Saint King. If we keep fighting, we’ll get wrecked for sure. Let’s just call it, alright? Since he’s got such a big heart, let’s back off and let this whole thing blow over!”

“Yeah, I think if we keep fighting, it’ll just be lose-lose. No matter how tough we are, we’re not his match—this guy’s straight-up invincible. Even if we’re all badasses, he’s still out of our league, so why not just drop it and shake hands? Sure, we lost, but at least we get to keep our lives!”

“Exactly! Staying alive is what matters. Look how many brothers we’ve lost—I’m not about to join them in the underworld. All these thousands of years of cultivation, gone in a flash!”

...

The surviving Immortal Kings around clearly realized that if this kept up, things would end badly for them. Better to take the out now and maybe survive. For these top experts, pride and glory didn’t matter—the key was staying alive and keeping all the power they’d worked so hard to build. For cultivators, sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and live to fight another day.

As soon as they finished speaking, everyone’s eyes turned to the Grand Martial-Uncle. Clearly, only if he nodded could this really happen. Right now, even he was hesitating—he knew full well that fighting Ryan any longer would just end in mutual destruction.

He was about to speak, and even though he hated it, making peace really was the only smart move left.

But right at that crucial moment, a massive burst of golden light suddenly exploded from deep underground in the Elysium Sect. The light instantly wrapped around the Grand Martial-Uncle, and in that split second, his whole demeanor changed. He’d been wavering, almost ready to surrender, but now his expression was ice-cold and totally inhuman—like he’d morphed into a demon from the inside out.

Ryan instantly sensed something huge was going down. That kind of golden light could only come from a top-tier powerhouse—definitely not your average expert. It was someone way beyond Immortal King level. Ryan didn’t know how strong they really were, but that guy had definitely hit half-step Heaven-and-Earth Co-Life Realm. That’s basically the number one in Immortal City—the true ancestor of Elysium Sect. If he’d made a move, there was no way today’s mess would end easily.

Just as Ryan was thinking this, the Grand Martial-Uncle suddenly let out a voice that was almost inhuman: “Listen up! That guy is a demon among demons, and Elysium Sect absolutely cannot compromise. We have to fight him to the end! Now, our ancestor’s golden light will boost your strength even further!”

As soon as the old guy finished, streams of golden light split off and blasted out in all directions. Instantly, the Immortal Kings who’d been scared stiff suddenly got fired up—their hesitation vanished, and they became hard as nails. Worse, their minds had totally changed, like they weren’t even human anymore!

“Kill! Kill! Kill!” The Immortal Kings around started chanting in voices that didn’t even sound human—their minds were totally rewritten, completely taken over by some evil force. There was zero panic, no hesitation, just one word in their heads: kill.

“Ryan, watch out—this has to be Elysium Sect’s top ancestor making a move! I can’t believe he’s still alive!” Lynn Long was totally stunned, panic written all over her face. In her memory, that peak ancestor was supposed to be dead, but here he was, back again and more terrifying than ever.

But Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second. If that so-called ancestor had shown up, there was no way things could be smoothed over. Words and actions were pointless now—it was war to the end. Ryan wasn’t even flustered; he charged straight in, his power at absolute max. His Immortal King force swept out like a tidal wave, blanketing all worlds. In that moment, he really was the king of immortals—no power could stand against him!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Under his wild onslaught, several Immortal Kings were instantly crushed—each one exploded, and their so-called vital essence was snatched by him in a flash. It all happened so fast it was unreal. Ryan’s methods were on another level, nothing like a normal Immortal King. When he unleashed his power, it was world-shattering—nobody could stop him!

But just as Ryan caught his breath, the Grand Martial-Uncle suddenly shouted, “Quick, activate the golden light—block his Immortal King aura!”

Even as the Grand Martial-Uncle said this, Ryan just looked on with total disdain—he didn’t buy the golden light’s power at all.

But then Ryan suddenly felt the surrounding Immortal Kings’ power spike—way more than just a little, it was like a ten-thousand-fold boost! Clearly, he’d underestimated the golden light; now it was showing its true, top-tier strength.

Even with things changing, Ryan didn’t hesitate—he wasn’t fazed at all. He cranked his power up to the absolute peak and swept out again, bringing down heaven and earth. The whole world changed colors, everything looked different, and several more Immortal Kings exploded, their auras instantly sucked up by him!

It might’ve looked the same as before, but for Ryan it was a whole different story. Earlier, he’d only used about ten percent of his power; now he was unleashing seventy or eighty percent. Even so, he couldn’t wipe them all out—only three or four got taken down.

“Damn it!” Ryan couldn’t help but get pissed. Things were totally different now—if this kept up, that golden light might wipe out all the advantage he’d built up!

Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second. He instantly ramped his power up again, this time hitting his absolute peak. His force blasted out, turning the world upside down. He poured out everything he had, even stronger than before—he was sure the enemy would take massive losses and couldn’t possibly hold out. But then, something unbelievable happened.

All the enemy Immortal Kings suddenly refined their golden light and charged at Ryan. That golden light was insanely fierce, totally overpowering, and in an instant, it blocked all of Ryan’s attacks. He couldn’t believe it!

He’d really underestimated them—he thought no matter how strong they were, they couldn’t be that tough. He’d already become an Immortal King, but now he realized just how insane the Heaven-and-Earth Co-Life Realm really was. Once that kind of power came out, nobody could resist!

Ryan didn’t hesitate—he instantly pulled his power back. He knew for sure that brute force wouldn’t help him now, only make things worse.

[System message skipped: not part of the novel plot.]

“Kill!” But the moment Ryan retreated, the Elysium Sect Immortal Kings attacked again. They’d realized they had the upper hand, so they didn’t hesitate for a second.

“Son of a—!” Ryan was about ready to curse out loud. He pulled his power back again to defend, but this time, he could really feel the pressure. That golden light was packing serious strength—there was no way brute force could block it.

“Kid, don’t think you’re all that! Just because you broke through to Immortal King doesn’t mean you’re invincible. In my eyes, you’re nothing! If you wanna fight me, you’re way too green!” The Grand Martial-Uncle roared, voice nearly tearing the sky. He was totally losing it, venting all his rage—he was a top-tier expert, and Ryan had almost humiliated him earlier. Now, with the ancestor backing him, he had no more doubts. His power exploded out, and Ryan felt like he was surrounded on all sides. Honestly, the regular Immortal King force wasn’t scary, but that golden light was a nightmare—even going all-out, Ryan couldn’t match it.

“Damn, what kind of power is this?!” Ryan couldn’t help but shudder—his defenses were breaking down step by step. As the pressure closed in, he even sensed someone talking to him, and in the sky above, a ghostly figure appeared, quietly watching like it wanted to swallow him whole. Ryan realized it wasn’t the Immortal Kings attacking—it was that insanely strong figure, the true ancestor of Elysium Sect. That guy’s strength had reached half-step Heaven-and-Earth Co-Life Realm—so strong that almost nobody could stand up to him!

“Kid, I never thought you’d single-handedly sweep through Elysium Sect and throw Immortal City into chaos. But I don’t care who you are—since you’ve come to my turf, you’re not leaving alive. And you stole our supreme Primordial Torso Relic, so unless you submit and hand over all your power, I might spare you. Otherwise, you’re dead—no chance at survival!” Another voice thundered out—clearly the ancestor of Elysium Sect. His words hit like a lightning strike, and Ryan felt his ears almost shatter from the roar.

As soon as he finished, an even stronger force swept in, slamming into Ryan and locking him down. This power could blow him apart—even as a newly advanced Immortal King!

“Wh-what?!” Ryan felt his body freeze up—inside and out, he was totally locked down. It was terrifying; he’d never been in such a dire spot. All around, the Immortal Kings, including the Grand Martial-Uncle, were instantly drained of their souls, turning into puppets and zombies that started closing in on Ryan!

Ryan was surrounded on all sides, no way out at all. His advantage was gone—things couldn’t get any worse. If this kept up, he was dead for sure. He could tell the enemy was more than just half-step Heaven-and-Earth Co-Life—they were the real deal. A top-tier being like that could crush him with a single hand.

“Ha! With the ancestor joining in, everything’s changed. Just now, we were totally cornered, but now he’s under our control. Brothers, let’s finish him—don’t hold back!”

“That’s right, he can’t possibly beat the ancestor—he’s a Heaven-and-Earth Co-Life powerhouse! With the ancestor backing us, there’s no way we’ll lose. Let’s defeat him and take back the Primordial Torso Relic. If we get it back, we win—no way we’ll lose!”

“Brothers, stop hesitating! The ancestor’s fighting with us, we can’t lose—crush him now!”

...

Right now, the peak Immortal Kings all roared in fury. Their power was nothing to scoff at, and with the ancestor’s protection, they were even stronger. The force they unleashed could shake the heavens and earth, and Ryan was completely sealed inside. Even with his Immortal King body and Saint King foundation, he was no match for them in this situation. He had to think fast, or it’d be game over.

Ryan’s only hope was the power in his torso. Only by triggering it could he survive. He didn’t hesitate—he started channeling his energy into the Primordial Torso Relic. Instantly, his torso began to swell, but he quickly realized that just relying on his own power wasn’t enough to draw out its strength in time. Sweat poured down his face—he’d burned through all the time he’d fought so hard to win!

Suddenly, the ancestor’s voice boomed again, sounding like Ryan’s death knell. In a flash, Ryan felt like he was about to explode—his body was wracked with pain, and all his power was being forcibly locked down, unable to break free.

“Kid, never thought you’d end up like this. I’m gonna kill you right now.” The Grand Martial-Uncle’s voice was crazed—he could see Ryan was done for. Even though Ryan had just reached Immortal King, his power was already fading. His Immortal King body wasn’t stable, and could collapse at any moment. Now, with the ancestor and all the Elysium Sect Immortal Kings attacking, Ryan’s Immortal King body was about to break!

Things couldn’t be more critical—if he didn’t act now, defeat was certain. Ryan’s freshly advanced Immortal King body was already starting to regress, almost instantly dropping to half-step Immortal King. If this kept up, all his immortal qi would be gone!

“Kid, if you’re not dead now, then when?” The ancestor’s voice thundered again...
