Will You Marry Me

If you're going to put on a show, you have to play the part completely. Outwardly, Prince Nolan announced he was inspecting the progress at the Imperial Mausoleum, so naturally, he had to stop there first, make an appearance, and only then return to Eastlyn.

William Wang needed to send a message to Prince Nolan, so he had people lie in wait along the main road to the mausoleum, ready to intercept him as soon as he appeared.

Lady Min, of course, understood that the mausoleum was the key to finding Prince Nolan. She had already stationed her people along the route, watching closely. The moment Prince Nolan and Serena revealed themselves, Lady Min received word.

"Your Highness, Prince Nolan has appeared." The messenger reported in a low voice. Lady Min paused for a moment, then slowly said, "Pass the word—it's time to act."

Lady Min rose and walked slowly to the window, her gaze burning as she looked into the distance...

This time, she was determined to take Serena's life. As for Eastlyn’s Ninth—

Lady Min gently closed her eyes, hiding the cold and complexity within them. When she opened her eyes again, they were utterly calm.

For one general’s success, countless bones must bleach. If she wanted to restore the dynasty, sacrifices were inevitable. As long as the restoration succeeded, any price was worth paying!

On the first night after Serena, Prince Nolan, and Sean Xuan came ashore, Serena had wanted to tell Prince Nolan that she might be pregnant. But the news from the Capital left both of them stunned.

"Vincent Su is in trouble?" Serena's lips trembled as she snatched up the letter, reading it carefully. The more she read, the more shocked she became: "What happened? Who did Vincent offend? How could his entire household be wiped out in broad daylight?"

Nolan Dongling said nothing, his deep eyes swirling with a brewing storm, ready to erupt at any moment.

William Wang Jinling and Serena Feng might not guess it, but Nolan certainly could. The massacre at Sutton Manor was aimed squarely at him—only Liancastle insiders knew Vincent Su’s true identity, and only they would dare target him.

One by one, they struck while he was away. These people were truly audacious—did they really think he wouldn’t wipe them out to the last?

“Did you figure something out?” Serena looked at Nolan, asking.

“Yes.” Nolan didn’t hide it. “Liancastle.”

“Why?” Serena clenched the letter, furious. “Is it because Jason Lan is dead? If so, why not come after me?”

“No.” Nolan rejected the idea without hesitation. “Vincent Su is my man.”

Serena was stunned. “So this is Liancastle’s warning to you?”

“Maybe.” Nolan closed his eyes and exhaled softly. “Don’t worry, Vincent Su will be fine.” Liancastle knows his temperament well—if Vincent falls into their hands, they won’t dare harm him.

Nolan said Vincent Su would be safe, and Serena absolutely believed it.
