At the Starry Sky Teahouse, Joe Di broke the Guardian Array of Cauldron Haven, then killed Gray, the manager of Fortune Resthaven, and claimed Fortune Resthaven for himself. Not only that, he even renamed Fortune Resthaven as Peace Resthaven. Such a momentous event sent shockwaves not only through Cauldron Haven, but also throughout the other major Immortal Continents.
Later, a group of Immortal Emperors and Immortal Lords, furious at Joe Di's actions, joined forces and went to Peace Resthaven. Among them were three Immortal Emperors from the Devil Garb Immortal Continent.
Anyone could guess, even with their toes, that Joe Di was doomed to a miserable death. No—he probably wouldn't even have a chance at reincarnation.
But in less than half a day, only four people emerged from the group: Yue Wuliang, Dao Master of Tianyun Dao; Jie Wanleng, Palace Lord of Star Demon Palace; Meng Xixi, Tower Lord of Moon Eternal Tower; and Mi Ji, City Lord of Cauldron Haven.
Moreover, of the four who came out, all except Mi Ji were gravely wounded. The sign of Peace Resthaven still stood in its original place, and many even saw Joe Di begin to rearrange the Guardian Array of Peace Resthaven.
It wasn't an upgrade to the Guardian Array—Joe Di had cordoned off all the shops around and opposite Fortune Resthaven.
How could the shops neighboring Fortune Resthaven be anything but extraordinary? Besides City Lord Mi Ji, their proprietors included Dui Pingchuan, Hall Master of the Law Enforcement Hall; the owner of Grand Cauldron Apothecary; and all the cultivators who had gone to Peace Inn to trouble Joe Di.
The only difference was that the other cordoned shops no longer did business—they were all razed and rebuilt into a massive plaza, which was named Peace Plaza.
Just by watching Joe Di do all this, with not a single person daring to object, everyone understood: the victor of this conflict was, astonishingly, Joe Di.
