Raging Qi Pythons

2/14/2026

As soon as Evan spoke, everyone saw it: the moment before, Night Autumn had been desperately trying to escape that strange white qi, but now his whole body suddenly froze.

His face turned deathly pale, his whole body trembling. In an instant, the white qi swirling around him transformed into webs, wrapping him up completely.

The webs tightened.

Bang!

Night Autumn’s face was ashen. No matter how his internal qi surged, he still couldn’t break free from the white qi shackles binding him.

“What is this thing?!”

Night Summer stepped forward, coming up beside Night Autumn. He shaped his qi into a blade, reached out, and tried to cut through the thing trapping Night Autumn.

But no matter what he did, the white, web-like qi wrapped around Night Autumn stayed completely motionless.

Each time Night Summer’s qi blade sliced at it, it just passed straight through the web, almost hitting Night Autumn himself.

That white qi seemed almost non-existent—formless, intangible. You could see it, but couldn’t touch it, and it was impossible to fight it with qi.

"Don't waste your breath. Instead of worrying about him, you'd better start thinking about yourselves."

Across the way, the boy's chill voice sounded again.

"What’s that supposed to mean?"

Night Summer snapped his head up, glaring at Evan Lin. "You really think whatever weird trick you’re using can take down all of us?"

Night Summer was seriously pissed now.

What ticked him off most was Evan’s ‘nothing-can-touch-me’ attitude—and the fact that, to his horror, he had no clue what Evan was actually doing.

Just a couple of casual moves, and Night Autumn was totally shut down.

Before now, nobody would’ve even dared to dream of that.

"No... it’s not just that trick."

Night Summer had barely finished his sentence when Night Sparrow spoke up right next to him.
