It Is Your Old Master Di

12/19/2025

What's going on? The other three Edict Saints who had arrived all fixed their gazes on Ruben Redlin. Ruben's fists were clenched so tightly they turned pale. He knew how powerful Joe Di was. Even though the four of them didn't fear Joe Di today, it wouldn't be easy for them to surround and kill him. Fortunately, this was the Allclan Sanctuary—no one could escape by flying, only through the city gates. He believed that by the time Joe Di reached the outer defensive array, it would have already been sealed.

"Back in Trirobe Sanctuary, I was ambushed by this man, who stole one of my Cosmic Dao Veins and a Fire Dao Rule Stone. I had planned to hunt him down after recovering from my injuries, but I never expected he'd dare show up in the Allclan Sanctuary..." Ruben Redlin said sharply.

He knew Joe Di's strength exceeded his own. But today, he wasn't alone—there were four Edict Saints of the same rank as him. He didn't believe they couldn't take Joe Di down. After what he'd just said, even if Joe Di tried to escape, the other three who came with him wouldn't let Joe Di go.

As long as they killed Joe Di, who would know if what he said was true or false?

"Attack!" The tall cultivator was the first to unleash his artifact at Joe Di upon hearing Ruben's words. Both the Cosmic Dao Vein and the Fire Dao Rule Stone were things he desperately needed. Not only him—all Fourth Step Edict Saints needed them.

He had stepped into the Fourth Step, but advancing his flame to the same level was anything but easy.

In the Allclan Sacred Pool, automatic restrictions were everywhere. If the Dao rhythm fluctuations grew strong enough, the restrictions would immediately seal off the area, preventing anyone from destroying them while fighting.

As the tall Edict Saint of the Redlin Clan made his move, the surrounding space was instantly sealed. In his view, once he attacked, Ruben and the other two would join in. This was the Allclan Sanctuary—no one could escape by flying.

But to the Redlin clansman who struck first, what he didn't expect was that only one person joined in to attack Joe Di with their artifact; the other two did not. Surprisingly, Ruben Redlin himself was among those who held back, along with the long-eared companion.

"Ruben, hurry up and attack! This isn't the time for tricks..." the tall Redlin cultivator shouted sternly.

In his eyes, anyone who could injure Ruben Redlin and still dare to come to the Allclan Sanctuary was definitely not ordinary. Ruben's words sounded dubious, but even if the opponent was stronger than Ruben, the four of them together could crush him. The key was that all four needed to act together—two weren't enough. The long-eared one had always been cautious and cunning; he surely knew Joe Di was no simple foe.

Ruben didn't attack because he was worried Joe Di would escape if besieged by three people; he wanted to cut off Joe Di's retreat. As for the long-eared Redlin clansman who didn't attack, he was certain Ruben was lying. Joe Di wasn't afraid of facing four Edict Saints—he might very well be a half-step Quintessence Saint. No matter how strong the four were, against a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint, they were mere ants. Even if the opponent was only half a step into the Fifth Step, they still wouldn't stand a chance. He even reached out with his divine sense to a top-tier Escape Talisman, ready to flee if Joe Di truly was a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint.

As soon as the artifact was unleashed at Joe Di, the Azure Veil Blade swept out in a curtain of blades, its powerful rule domain instantly locking down the space.

Back when he fought Ruben Redlin, he was only at the Convergence Realm. Now, he was at the peak of the Creation Realm. His strength had increased many times over. So he didn't even use any divine abilities—he simply merged his Grand Dao laws into his domain.

The tall cultivator who attacked Joe Di first was actually weaker than Ruben Redlin. Now that Joe Di's strength had multiplied, as soon as his rule domain enveloped them, the cultivator sensed something was terribly wrong.

Not only did he feel as if he were trapped in an immovable quagmire, but the other Fourth Step Edict Saint who attacked with him was also caught in the same sluggishness...

"A personal rule domain... Fifth Step Quintessence Saint..." The tall Fourth Step Redlin cultivator instantly understood what was happening and cried out in a trembling voice. His face turned deathly pale. Now he realized why Ruben hadn't joined in—he wanted him to die first and see how things played out.

Sure enough, when Ruben saw that both Fourth Step Edict Saints were bound by Joe Di's Grand Dao domain, he too felt the terrifying suppression of space and Grand Dao laws at the domain's edge. If he didn't realize Joe Di's strength had risen again, he'd be a fool.

Without a second thought, Ruben Redlin turned and fled. Whether Joe Di would be slain by the Redlin Quintessence Saint or not, he was already a fish on the chopping block.

Ruben was quick to retreat, but the long-eared Edict Saint who hadn't attacked moved even faster. He didn't just flee—he activated a top-tier Escape Talisman he'd prepared in advance.

Trying to escape? The Azure Veil Blade swept up with overwhelming killing intent. The two Edict Saints still struggling within Joe Di's rule domain could only watch helplessly as the blade tore through their brows—they couldn't even fight back.

So strong... The opponent wasn't even a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint, maybe not even at the Fourth Step... The last thought flashed through the mind of the tall Redlin clansman who attacked first. Unfortunately, he had no chance to speak—his soul quickly fell into oblivion.

Boom! A burst of light shattered the Allclan Sanctuary's defensive array, sweeping the long-eared Redlin Edict Saint away into the void.

Ruben was even more horrified. He didn't have a talisman capable of tearing through the grand array here. At this moment, Dao rhythm surged around him, nearly exploding the space. All he wanted was to get away—he didn't want to be stopped by Joe Di. As long as he escaped, there were plenty of people left to deal with Joe Di.

Joe Di summoned the Creation Brush. In the next moment, the brush painted a giant bow in the void. Joe Di stepped forward, drawing the bow, and a Time Arrow instantly formed upon it.

Whoosh! The Time Arrow tore through space and time.

Bow halts time's flow, one arrow locks reincarnation! This arrow locked onto Ruben Redlin, freezing all space and time around him. Terror and despair filled Ruben's eyes—Joe Di's strength had soared to terrifying heights.

Countless restrictions shattered as the Time Arrow ripped through all the barriers of the Allclan Sanctuary. No matter how fast Ruben tried to flee, the arrow caught up to him before he could reach the city gate.

Thud! The arrow pierced through the back of Ruben's head, exiting through his brow. Time seemed to freeze as the Time Arrow carried Ruben's body, nailing him to the void at the exit of the Allclan Sanctuary's city gate.

In his final moments, Ruben Redlin thought that perhaps this was his fate. He hadn't dared return to Trirobe Sanctuary, yet even here in the Allclan Sanctuary, he still ran into this terrifying human cultivator.

The arrow was pure Dao rhythm, without substance. Yet this arrow, made only of Dao rhythm, pierced straight through Ruben's skull, suspending his body in the void.

Joe Di glanced at the void, thinking to himself how cunning that long-eared fellow was—to escape with a talisman even in such a dire situation. Truly an impressive character.

So many people witnessed the scene. At that moment, the bustling Allclan Sanctuary fell silent; everyone was still immersed in Joe Di's two blade strikes and one arrow.

"Who dares destroy the restrictions of my Allclan Sanctuary? Find..." A furious roar rang out, followed by a golden-armored cultivator stepping out of the void—yet another Fourth Step Edict Saint.

He didn't finish his sentence. Stunned, he stared at the two slain Redlin clansmen before Joe Di. He knew both of them—neither was weaker than him. They were all Fourth Step Edict Saints of the Redlin Clan.

That wasn't all. From here to the city gate, every hidden restriction had been torn apart. Then he saw an arrow, swirling with endless Grand Dao rhythm, pierce through Ruben and nail him to the void before the city gate.

Ruben Redlin was a renowned Fourth Step Edict Saint of the Redlin Clan, founder of Trirobe Sanctuary...

Who was this, so formidable and so outrageously bold?

Joe Di calmly slung the Azure Veil Blade over his back and said coolly, "I am Old Master Di."

It had been a long time since he'd called himself Old Master. Saying it now, Joe Di actually felt a bit refreshed. At that moment, he thought of Old Master Jiao. In any case, they would never be friends—why bother being polite?

(That's all for today's update. Good night, friends!)
