Origin of the Yang Qi

Evan Yang hadn't expected that even the people of the Goddess Hall had no clue about its whereabouts, so he could only try another approach. He asked, "Then where can I inquire about it?"

"In the Women's Realm, the Goddess Hall is the most powerful. If even we don't know, there's no way anyone else does. So honestly, there's nothing you want here—you'd better leave quickly." Serena Heath said to Evan.

"Impossible. That thing is definitely in this realm, so you'd better tell me where I can find it." Evan pressed, refusing to believe her.

Serena replied, "I really don't know."

Evan probed her mind with an illusion, confirming she truly knew nothing about the Pure Yang Domain. Faced with this obstacle, Evan could only say, "Alright, you can go."

"You're really letting me go?" Serena asked in disbelief.

Evan nodded, "Yes, of course."

Serena, still in disbelief, walked out of the room. Outside, a crowd had already gathered. As she emerged, the guard captain asked, "Madam, are you alright?"

"I'm fine. Everyone, stand down." Serena knew these people were no match for Evan.

The others withdrew in confusion, leaving only the guard captain, who looked at Serena and asked, "Madam, what exactly happened?"

"It's nothing, really. He's just far too powerful for any of us to handle, so I told everyone to stand down for their own safety," Serena explained.

Understanding her meaning, the guard captain asked, "So what do we do now?"

"He doesn't mean us any harm—he's just looking for something," Serena said. The guard captain frowned, "But we can't just let him wander around, can we? If word gets out, you'll lose all face, Madam."

"I know, which is why we'll help him find what he's after. Once he gets it, he'll leave," Serena decided after thinking it over.

"What exactly is he looking for?" the guard captain asked curiously. Serena answered, "It's something called the Pure Yang Domain, but I have no idea what it is. Spread the word—see if anyone knows anything about it."

The guard captain nodded, "Alright, I'll go now." He quickly left, leaving Serena alone. At that moment, Evan stepped out, looked at Serena, and said, "Thank you."

"You heard all that?" Serena asked, surprised. Evan smiled, "Yeah, I heard."

"I just want you to find it quickly so you can leave," Serena said. Evan nodded, "Once I find it, I'll go. I won't bother you anymore."

"Alright, but there's something I need to say first. Since we're all women here, there are many places and times men aren't allowed. I hope you'll cooperate, or I can't explain it to everyone." Serena said. Evan smiled, "I understand. I'll wait outside the hall for news. Sorry for any inconvenience."

With that, Evan vanished from sight. Serena, startled, hurried outside—and sure enough, saw Evan sitting atop a tree outside the hall, muttering to herself, "This guy's strength is terrifying."

At this moment, in Serena's heart, Evan was nothing short of terrifying.

As for Evan, apart from waiting for news, there was nothing else he could do. He could only lie on the tree branch and wait.

The guards came and went, searching outside for a long time, but all the information they brought back was useless to Serena. Helpless, she told them to keep searching.

"Madam, it's been ten days already. I feel like this thing isn't in our world," the guard captain said, frowning.

"I think so too, but he's so certain—he must have his reasons. Let's keep searching. If there's still no news in another ten days, I'll tell him to leave." Serena said. The guard captain nodded and left.

Serena glanced at Evan on the tree branch not far away and muttered, "Sigh, what should I do?"

Evan was anxious too. He kept a close eye on the guards every day, storing all their information in his mind.

He didn't know how long he'd have to wait, so he kept waiting. Ten days later, still no news. Serena called out to Evan on the tree, "We've searched for twenty days now and haven't found a single clue."

Evan knew she was telling the truth, so he opened his eyes, stood up, and said, "Got it. I'll go check elsewhere."

"We've searched everywhere already. You should just leave," Serena said. Evan, unwilling to give up, smiled, "I'll just wander around."

Just then, a guard ran up to Serena and said, "Madam, something's wrong! Xiaoyu is about to give birth!"

"What? She's about to give birth? Understood." Serena exclaimed, then hurried off.

Watching them leave, Evan wondered, "With no men here, how do they give birth?"

At this moment, Evan had a question in his mind: since everyone here was female, how did they reproduce?

Thinking about it, Evan guessed a few possibilities, so he hurried after Serena.

Serena was already holding a newborn baby. The baby looked just like any other Evan had seen, so he asked curiously, "How do you reproduce here?"

"Why do you want to know?" Serena asked suspiciously. Evan smiled, "Maybe I have a clue. I need your help to solve it."

"Does it have anything to do with what you're looking for?" Serena asked curiously. Evan replied, "Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't."

"If it's related, then I can tell you. Just don't tell anyone else—it's a secret of our world," Serena said.

Evan promised, "Of course, I'll keep it secret."

"Since that's the case, I'll tell you. For us women to reproduce, we must go to the Divine Spring, stay there for ten days, then return and wait three hundred days to give birth to a newborn. And the children are always female," Serena explained to Evan.

Hearing this, Evan became even more certain of his suspicions and asked, "Where is this Divine Spring?"

"Why do you want to know?" Serena looked at Evan strangely.

Evan smiled, "Maybe the Divine Spring is connected to what I'm looking for."

"What? Impossible. How could our Divine Spring be related to your artifact?" Serena said, not believing him. Evan smiled, "I'm telling the truth—there's no need to hide it."

Serena looked at Evan suspiciously, "You're not planning to destroy the Divine Spring, are you?"

"No," Evan replied.

"I can tell you, but remember what you said—don't destroy the Divine Spring, or our world will be finished, extinct," Serena warned. Evan understood how serious this was and assured her, "Don't worry."

"Alright then. I'll tell you: it's about ten mountain ranges from here. Fly past those ten ranges and you'll see a Heavenly Mountain, tall enough to touch the clouds. On that mountain, you'll find a pool—that's where the Divine Spring is," Serena explained to Evan.

Evan nodded, "Alright, got it. Thanks. I'll head out now."

Evan quickly vanished from Serena's sight. The guard captain said worriedly, "Madam, isn't this risky? Only our people know about the Divine Spring. What if he destroys it?"

"If he really wants to destroy it, there's nothing we can do. All we can do now is hope he doesn't," Serena sighed.

Meanwhile, Evan had already bypassed the mountain ranges and arrived at the so-called Heavenly Mountain. It was indeed unlike any other—towering high. Evan flew to the top and saw the Divine Spring.

Inside the Divine Spring, several women were soaking in the water. Evan thought for a moment—if he went in now, he'd surely startle them. So he made himself invisible and entered the spring.

The Divine Spring wasn't large—maybe enough for a hundred people. Evan stood at the edge, closed his eyes, and tried to sense what was inside.

Soon, Evan sensed that the Divine Spring indeed contained a powerful yang energy. This yang energy combined with the women's yin energy to create new life—in other words, the very foundation of this world. Thinking of this, Evan dove in, going deeper to trace the source of the yang energy. The deeper he went, the more intense it became, until he reached a tunnel where both the water and yang energy flowed out.

Evan dove into the tunnel. Inside, he found a mirror. This mirror was what infused the water with yang energy.

"Is this the Pure Yang Domain?" Evan exclaimed in delight at the sight.

But then a new problem appeared: if he took the Pure Yang Domain, the spring would lose its power, and the world would go extinct. Evan couldn't bring himself to do such a thing.

He could only sigh, "I have to find something that can replace the Pure Yang Domain."

If he wanted to take the Pure Yang Domain, he needed something that could continuously generate yang energy. But where could he find such a thing? Evan was clueless and could only turn to the Blood Demon for help.

"Why are you asking about this?" the Blood Demon asked curiously. Evan gave a bitter smile, "I need to take an artifact that produces yang energy, but I don't want to cut off its use here. So I need something else that can generate yang energy to replace it."

"That's not easy. There are very few things in this world that can replace it," the Blood Demon said, frowning.

Evan knew the Blood Demon must have a solution, so he said, "You definitely have a way. Help me out."

The Blood Demon thought for a moment and said, "There's a place in the Chaos World where you might find such a thing."

Evan smiled, "Oh? Where?"

"In the Sun-Heaven Realm of the Chaos World. I hear there are stones there that generate yang energy," the Blood Demon said.

After hearing this, Evan muttered, "Looks like I'll have to make a trip."

With that, Evan vanished from the Divine Spring and finally left the realm. Outside, he found Brandon White.
