Believe It or Not

Joe Di had just taken out the Cosmic Cauldron when he sensed several people approaching outside his Guardian Array. Sweeping his divine sense outward, he saw that aside from Zoe Shen, there were four others he didn’t recognize.

Zoe Shen just left a few days ago—why has she returned so soon?

...

“This whole area is shrouded in mist. I can’t see a thing, and there’s no path forward!” Rovik exclaimed in confusion outside Lethe Temple.

“This is definitely a Guardian Array. We shouldn’t go any farther, or we might get lost. Only the strongest cultivators can set up such an array. Why was Celestia able to approach Earth without being affected? Because of its Guardian Array. Those things were always far beyond our reach—something we never dared imagine. I truly didn’t expect Senior Joe could actually create an independent Guardian Array.” Tom Hsueh said immediately.

After he finished speaking, Tom Hsueh glanced at Zoe Shen. By rights, Zoe should be the one to speak about visiting Senior Joe, yet she kept her head down, as if nothing had happened. He knew there must be a story behind this.

Realizing Zoe Shen couldn’t be relied on, Tom Hsueh took the initiative, bowing deeply and announcing, “Earth Federation Leader Zoe Shen, along with Tom Hsueh, Rovik, Wade, and Malik, have come to pay respects to Senior Joe.”

“If you have something to say, just get to the point.” Joe Di couldn’t be bothered to meet with these people—he had plenty of matters to deal with, and Nora Xiu was still in seclusion. Time was more precious than ever.

“Senior, a level-four fiend beast has appeared at South Pill Mountain. Even if we give it our all, we can’t get close to it. If that beast leaves South Pill Mountain, the consequences would be unimaginable. The five of us came today to beg Senior Joe for your help...” Tom Hsueh bowed to the ground, his tone sincere and full of hope.

Joe Di’s divine sense swept outward at once, and he quickly spotted a level-four Scorpileopard. It was indeed a terrifying fiend beast—if it broke loose, Earth would truly suffer. Tom Hsueh wasn’t exaggerating.
