Draining the Witch’s Qi

1/5/2026

"Let go? If I don't wear you out tonight, I don't deserve to call myself a son of Huaxia!" Ryan Ling had already figured out this woman's rhythm, so he wasn't holding back. The Ghost Elder was right—her aura was seriously unique, kind of like Anqi Chen and Rose Yates, those yin-type girls, but Jessica's aura was way thicker and even more special. If Anqi's vibe was a trickling stream, Jessica was a raging river—wild and untamed!

Right then, with the thick, ancient Heavenwood shooting in, Jessica totally lost it. She'd been riding Ryan at first, but in a flash, he flipped her over and pinned her down hard.

"Please, I'm begging you, I can't take it anymore..." Jessica tried to speak, but her mouth was instantly blocked by the Heavenwood. Now, all she could do was cry and tremble—her body shaking uncontrollably, no more wild moves left in her.

"Weren't you loving it just now? With skills like yours, how could you quit now? Come on!" Ryan didn't bother with more talk—he just went wild again. This time, Jessica's screams were even more gut-wrenching.

"Yoo-hoo!" Instantly, the entire Seventh Fleet went nuts. Plenty of the guys had hooked up with Jessica before—her reputation for wildness was legendary across the ships. Hearing those crazy sounds, every dude was fired up.

"That man-eating witch is something else!" Even Ascendant Dragon Master Longfei, who had some serious self-control, shook his head. He knew Jessica well—this American woman was special. Her power came from a weird European church aura, basically vampire blood, though it wasn't super obvious and all her strength got channeled into that one thing.

Even Longfei couldn't help but get a little lost in the moment, swallowing hard as those earth-shaking sounds echoed.

But Jessica was already done for. She was foaming at the mouth, shaking all over, and those waves of pleasure just broke her completely.

"Let me go, let me go!"

Jessica was practically at death's door now. Her aura was being sucked away bit by bit by Ryan, and losing it made her feel like a tree slowly withering—her whole body lifeless, even struggling to breathe.

"Dream on! Die, die, die!" Ryan wasn't about to waste words. He went at it even harder, and Jessica's eyes rolled back in her head.

Those waves of special energy flowed straight into Ryan, and he could feel his own power skyrocketing. Jessica's aura worked like some freaky catalyst, making his strength shoot up on its own.

Even the power of Conrad Kong, plus all that saint energy, started boiling inside him. Normally, all that stuff was way too heavy to merge with him fast, but now, with this wild surge, everything was starting to blend together.

"Awesome, Ryan! This blonde witch is actually helping you big time. While all their people are distracted, hurry up and level yourself up!" The Ghost Elder called out from inside.

"Got it!" Ryan nodded hard—this was the perfect chance. By his own math, breaking into mid-Nascent Soul would usually take months, which is already crazy fast for cultivators. But if he pulled this off tonight, he'd level up right now!

Just as Ryan started going nuts with his breakthrough, a familiar voice came through a secret speech channel.

"Ryan, it's Guihai One-Blade. Our people are here—where are you?"

Guihai One-Blade? Hearing that name, Ryan paused for a second. Back in the East Sea Crystal Palace, he'd used secret speech to talk with Guihai—and with Paula Bloom, too.

This kind of communication couldn't be jammed by any tech—nobody could intercept it. Daniel Deng was clearly making moves, rallying forces from Jiangnorth and Southriver to rescue Ryan, and planning to go all-out against the Seventh Fleet.

"Don't worry about me. Since you're here, find a way to wreck their ships and wipe out their combat forces!" Ryan snapped back. They'd sent over a hundred ships this time, even carriers, but this was Huaxia turf—if it came down to a fight, China's army wasn't about to roll over.

"Got it! We've already sent out several ghost subs, and the rest of our crew is quietly diving in. Even if we all go down fighting today, we'll stop these bastards!" Guihai One-Blade finished, and a ton of Huaxia warriors had already launched their attack. Plenty of them probably weren't coming back, but nobody hesitated—when the enemy's at your doorstep, if the soldiers back down, then Huaxia's finished!

Ryan didn't say another word. He had to speed up his power-up—sure, Huaxia was fighting back, but it was a huge risk. The enemy's counter-intel was world-class, and even though they were relaxed for now, nobody knew when they'd get caught.

Right now, Jessica was basically broken. Most of her aura had already been sucked away by Ryan, but to keep up the crazy act, Ryan kept faking Jessica's screams to fool everyone else.

He was already right on the edge of mid-Nascent Soul. Just give him a few more minutes and he'd break through for sure.

But there was still one thing holding him back—that iron chain carrying the Western Pacifying King's aura. The chain was ridiculously tough. Even with Ryan blasting it with Hell Furnace fire, it wouldn't budge.

"Ryan, this chain is no joke—the Western Pacifying King's power in it is way more than just a trace. It's a Kunlun League secret treasure. If you want to break it, you'll have to fuse the God-Slaughter Halberd with the Judgment Sword and push the halberd up to true Immortal Artifact level. Only then can you hack through!" The Ghost Elder chimed in, obviously having seen it all and spotting the key issue at a glance.

"Alright, double trouble!" Ryan nodded. After taking down Conrad Kong, the Judgment Sword ended up in his hands—no way he'd let an Immortal Artifact slip away. Now, with the Ghost Elder's advice, he didn't hesitate. He tossed both the Judgment Sword and the God-Slaughter Halberd into the Hell Furnace, where the Yellow-Spring Hellfire was burning at full blast—the perfect setup for refining artifacts.

Absorbing Conrad Kong and the Hundred Saints' power, plus smelting two top-tier artifacts all at once, had Ryan scrambling a bit. But if he pulled all this off tonight—mid-Nascent Soul power plus a true Immortal Artifact God-Slaughter Halberd—he'd be totally unstoppable.

His odds of wiping out the entire Seventh Fleet would skyrocket!
